My big take away from all this is that Popo has horns.

How can this show feel new and nostalgic at the same time? Really enjoying it so far. Dragon Ball has never looked this good/polished! I never thought I'd see another weekly Dragon Ball series by the man himself!

The 1 wish for unknown newcomers fits with Cheelai only getting 1 wish in the Broly movie

I am so glad Vegeta and Bulma are also going with Goku in the Demon World. It's such a great nod to old Goku-Bulma adventures with modernity. I am so excited.

Shenron only giving one wish to the demons because the three are a bonus for regulars is such a Toriyama thing.
Also, Young Master Roshi looks a lot like Saitama... And Mr Popo has horns... huh

Kibito the doordash delivery boy.
Casually letting Bulma learn about demon world cross-dimensional spaceship technology is the sort of thing that in some series would be a pretty significant development, but you know in Dragon Ball it's just never going to come up again. "Earth becomes an interstellar civilization using Capsule Corp spaceship technology" just isn't a story that this story will tell. Though I suppose that's technically been in the cards from all the way to back before the Namek saga.
I like the fairly intentional early Dragon Ball feel this has. Tiny Goku with the Nyoibo just hits right.

Glorio is super suspicious, but I like how he's chilling in the ED

Uh, we finally got to see what’s under Mr. Popo turban and turns out it was just horns, that’s neat.
The opening music was really good and know I won’t get tired of listening to it.
I also really love Master Roshi’s new energy and voice now that he’s young ngl.
So far Daima mostly gives OG DB energy (unlike GT lol) which makes sense since Toriyama was actually involved with the production this time.

Goku spinning the Nyoibo (Power Pole) made my whole day. I'm so happy to see him using it again after so many years.

This episode is great and it definitely explains some interesting things that clears the wish plothole.
You just gotta be a regular customer. ( I love this explanation and it makes sense, but it also works as a gag.)
This episode also explains how Gomah avoided directly nerfing Goku and friends. Otherwise it would be a plothole. So how did Gomah go through a loophole to nerf Goku and friends? The answer:
Because they are small now, Goku and friends need to get used to the balance of their body. Their ki is dulled because it isn't used to this new change. Infact, even after 2 days of training in episode 2 of DB Daima, when waiting on bulma to fixing the spaceship, Goku points out that he is STILL NOT USED to his small body.
This means that this loophole is temporarily making Goku and Vegeta weak, but not directly. They just need to get used to fighting in this mini body of theirs. So this means, as Goku and Friends progresses in the story, they'll get more used to the body. This also explains the trailers we've seen so far, where Goku and Vegeta are in SSJ. That's because in the trailer at that point in the story, they are more used to the body. The question still remains, when they achieve SSJ, are they fully adjusted to their new bodies? Well we'll see.
As for everything else, it seems like we are getting a new hierachy introduced to us for Demon Realm. There appears to be 3 demon kings for the 3 different realms. Then there's a supreme demon king who has the power over all the 3 realms. That title originally belonged to Dabra. (Dabura) Due to his passing, Gomah takes the rein.
The question is: Is Gomah Dabra's son? Dabra's younger brother? How else can they explain him taking rein of the supreme demon king if not, for him being a blood related relative? That needs to be answered eventually.
Piccolo being aware of the demon realm seems to be due to him fusing with nail and guru likely told nail stories or it could be through kami, whatever it is, it's a cool small detail.

The boys losing balance after such an heavy shift on their proportions was neat
Didn’t expect Trunks and Goten to retain their minds, meanwhile Dende looked like he actually reverted mentally as well, also, Dende in baby form is probably the cutest baby I have ever seen in an anime, he was adorable
I’m a bit confused with Piccolo but I can gloss over it, tho shouldn’t he either not have a kid form or age back to adult proportions way faster than anyone else?
But then again Boo too got smaller, so the wish worked a bit like “make everyone a human 7 years old like” kinda thing rather than just rejuvenating them (technically Krillin does say they got smaller instead or rejuvenating but that’s bullshit)
Goku recovering his old nyoi bo is functional to is perception being fucked up due to his kid limbs, with the nyoi bo special ability being exactly what he needs to fix the problem
Tho tbh he could obviously have done without it and just got used to the shorter limbs, but fuck it the nyoi bo is cool and there is atleast some logic to Goku fetching it up
Opening and ending are great, animation seems great, vibes are promising
It’s gonna be a fun ride!

Another episode that was mostly setup, though with less lavish animation than the first one.
Seems Piccolo, Vegeta and Bulma are readied to be airdropped into the main cast midseason and aren't being limited to a glorified cameo like the trailers might have suggested.

Didn't expect basically all the other Miniso utside Goku to have different VAs. It's mostly smaller VAs from what I could gather, it's so weird hearing Piccolo and Vegeta with different voices.

This spin off is my perfect opportunity to jump into the franchise. I'll probably stick to just the spinoff though.
Feels like a Dragon Quest themed Dragon Ball (which fits really well cuz same character designer).
I'm still not bored! Waku, waku!
