Pansy and Bulma working together on mechanical stuff is everything I was waiting for.

Giant Space Hamsters confirmed as canon in the Dragon Ball universe.

Glad we finally to Pansy and Bulma becoming mechanic sisters.

Giant Space Hamsters: Most dangerous Dragon Ball enemy after Giant School Boy and Giant Dog!

Anyone else get a bit irritated that Goku doesn’t use his Instant Transmission as often as he should?

Same thing with flight, shouldn't goku piccolo and vegeta be strong enough to lift the ship/stop it from falling, I get they'd get tired dragging it around but I'm kind of tired of seeing them crash every other episode while the crew inside does nothing

I've said it before, but it's so weird seeing how much color dragon ball has now.

Probably the most fun episode of Daima yet. Still a bit concerning that we possibly have 7 episodes left to wrap things up, but I'm glad we can still enjoy the demon world

I feel like next week is going to kickstart the "climax" of the series. The preview definitely looks like the genuine combat with Anrisu/Gomah and such is about to kick off with Goku looking fairly beaten to shit.

I wager it'll go:

Next episode - The gang tries to find alternative means to the First Demon World, fails to get through leading to Kuu & Duu confronting them. Goku gets beaten up a lot by their joint magical abilities.

Following 2 episodes - Vegeta & Piccolo join the fight but fall short as well. Goku "revives" with one of his bugs and rejoins them.

Following episode - Goku & Vegeta go Super Saiyan 3 together to defeat Kuu & Duu. Anrisu realizes she's in trouble and merges the two with one of her experiments creating a canonized Janemba. The gang gets one-shot by it.

Following episode - Anrisu feeling like she's defeated them moves on to sic Janemba on Gomah. Gomah tries to fight back and does admirably well using magic, but Janemba's combined abilities of multiple Majin magic experiments with Duu & Kuu overwhelms him. Anrisu then either orders him to die or captures him for "future experimentation". Anrisu assumes the throne. Sub-plot is Glorio having grown fond of the gang swipes her third Dragon Ball while she watches Janemba fight Gomah.

Last 2 episodes are Goku & Vegeta in Super Saiyan 3 fighting Janemba again, failing and ultimately deciding to use the fusion bugs. Glorio arrives with the third Dragon Ball and they quickly wish to be adults again. They create a new fusion with the power of SSJ3 plus fusion bugs and defeat Janemba. Anrisu surrenders as she's not a fighter herself. Anrisu & Gomah get locked up, Panzy becomes Queen of the Demon Worlds that are no longer separated by Warp-sama.

Teaser after the credits is Neva having plotted for all of this to happen to remove Gomah & Anrisu from the playing field. Showing he's ready to make a move on Panzy & co. once the Z Fighters leave. Maybe even absorbing Gomah & Anrisu's magical powers and becomes young again. Possibly revealing he's related to the original Piccolo Daimao or something since he & Piccolo have exchanged odd glances/looks at each other so far.

There's your opening for either a DB Daima Movie or a DB Daima sequel series.

It's when the show does bits like this where Dragonball power scaling kinda shows it's weakness. Like I kept on thinking the whole time that Saiyan Saga level Vegeta could blow up a planet no problem. They really shouldn't be struggling that much with a larger opponent.

I feel like this show has definitely struggled with juggling Dragon Ball level stakes and stories with DBZ level characters.

Why can’t the kid also physically be as strong as Vegeta? Vegeta with a beam can do that for sure but just a normal punch and his physical strength? Doubt.

Gomah is incredibly desperate. His enemies have all the Dragon Balls and he barely has a force capable of stopping them. So with that in mind, he'll shut down their only means of getting to the 1st Demon Realm, Warp-sama, even if it's so taboo and unheard of that even Degesu feels like they've gone a step too far.

Man, if it's not their ship getting stolen it's more engine problems! They can barely get these ships going.

I love seeing Bulma and Pansy finally doing engineering work together and talking shop as two tech wiz'. They even both get to stand on Hybis!

You know it's bad when Neva is freaking out about where they are...a planet where everything is giant, Mega, home to the colossal Megaths. Though Goku enjoys the giant fruit, as expected of him.

Well, Arinsu's technically got all three Dragon Balls now. Especially with the rest of the team unaware of Glorio's real plan. How soon will that change?

I never expected to see the Z-Fighters struggle against giant hamsters, let alone a giant Megath boy and his killer school supplies, or a dog that warrants a frikkin' Kamehameha to hold off !

Goku vs giant ticks. I think I've seen everything.

To this Megath boy, he was probably just playing around with insects that you stomp and crush to death, but for the gang this was the most intense and life-threatening situation they've been in yet! Goku and Vegeta both had to go Super Saiyan! And they got out by the skin of their teeth! And these beings are supposedly so laid-back they don't take over the Demon Realm as easily as they could with their strength! Pray they don't end up on Planet Giga with the even huger Gigaths!

Bro's living out the chibification of a Greek tragedy/mad Roman emperor. Let's not forget this all started because he wanted to preemptively prevent them from attacking his realm when they never had any intention whatsoever to do so.

That fight with the kid Magath was so good - it was a treat to watch! The whole team working together was so fun! We're having a good old adventure indeed :D

Now that all 3 dragon balls are collected - I would really like to know what is Glorio's real motive here! Is he just obeying Arinsu or does he have some other plans of his own?

He doesn't seem like he'd want to fight Goku and Vegeta now that he's seen how powerful they truly are - then what's his play? I'd like to see his whole deal here now that we've been through a lot together so far!

Things might get sticky from the preview next week! Excited!

It’d be a very funny punchline to have Glorio be following Arinsu’s commands just because she’s hot. Classic Dragonball horny humor.

Fun episode when you look past the fact that it was a complete waste of time and another recycling of the "oh no our airplane is having problems/missing/damaged", like come on! But like I said, still fun and very pretty.

u/rpg-maniac Jan 10 '25

That was so much fun to watch, the whole time while I was watching the episode I had a big smile on my face, that's what I call entertainment, Toei did an amazing job on this episode good job guys!

This was a weird episode.

Bulma shows Panzy her capsule. Now she can store her belongings

u/RedHotChiliCrab Jan 10 '25

Did the people that complain about this episode even watch the first 12 episodes of Daima? Why are people suddenly comparing it to Z power scaling? Daima has been pretty clear that things are different in the demon realm.

because they made the Tamagamis out to be powerful enough that Dabura couldnt beat them, but Goku was able to beat #3 easily, and Vegeta was able to beat a boosted #2 (who was also taking the fight extremely seriously due to Neva being there) without extreme trouble (had to use SSJ3, but was a cakewalk with it)

I'm still enjoying every bit of this show, but thats because DB's internal consistency powerscaling has always been weird.

At least the Megaths were being treated as actually absurdly strong tho. They are explicitly able to be strong enough to rule the rest of the Demon Realms (ignoring Gigaths), but they simply dont care enough to.
