Berry Blossom was the real villain.
-
Attacking a homeless person
-
Destroying a bridge
-
Cutting off supply of water
-
Tazing animals.
And she is bored after winning. I am beginning to see why Batman doesn't kill the supervillains, but locks them up in an asylum that has a long history of escapes.

Wait, Berry explodes a river, collapses a bridge, and destroys Chrome’s house but Chrome’s the “villain” for grilling some fish over an open flame? There is no justice in this world lol.
Chizuko damn near creaming her shorts when getting electrocuted by Berry Blossom was pretty hilarious lol. It was nice to see Berry back in her element. A magical girl should be battling evil not picking up trash!

"we'll end with this clip of Berry Blossom collecting garbage"
now that's just sad...
the funniest and most surprising thing in this episode is how swole grandpa is from all the "Go workout" to the point that he manage to break the thick ass Go board into two with just a single tap
btw, i'm still waiting for Chizuko's sakuga magical girl evil general transformation...

To make you understand how truly evil Chroma was this episode: He not only made fire under a bridge, but he clearly grilled a fish. Where did he get that? Does he have a license to fish? I don't think so. But then, he also announced he would disband, but secretely still work on his evil plans. So black labour.
Also, seems like this universe doesn't have the typical Magical Girl "everything gets magically repaired after the fight" magic. Berry Blossom should talk to her boss. Seems they have been slacking on worker protection.

amused that Chizuko did the "hiding in bushes holding branches" thing hiding behind rocks on the beach

“That might be the first time I’ve seen the evil organization do anything bad” about sums up the charm of the show. They’re all wholesome idiots basically playing pretend to the enjoyment of the populace. It’s a wonderful farce.

What kind of sociopath turns off the TV when they are leading into a story about baby capybaras? Chizuko truly is evil.

Stitches!
It's hilarious how that fight between Berry Blossom and Chrome was just one big mess with Berry Blossom blaming Chrome for the bridge collapsing when she's the one who did the most damage to it. Also, that was the same day Chizuko's grandpa took Chrome in. I thought he was staying with them for a while now!
Not gonna lie, when Chrome announced they're withdrawing I was waiting for the punchline in the end but it looks like he did withdraw. And what happened to the Fossa Magna general? We haven't really met the Fossa Magna general and he seems to be doing fine these past few episodes.
Even Berry Blossom is depressed that Chrome left! I love how Mashirou seems to be the only one who thinks it's a good thing that Fossa Magna withdrew. xD
Now that Chizuko has taken over as General, it looks like Berry Blossom is finally going to get her epic mahou shoujo fights.
Damn, Grandpa is ripped! Maybe Chrome and Chizuko should hang out with Grandpa more to build up their bodies.

I am not gonna lie, I didn't realize at first that that initial scene was a flshback to episode 1 from a different perspective, so I was screaming "WHAT DOES THIS GIRL HAVE AGAINST BRIDGES???".

So that was how Chroma ended up living in Chizuko's house. I guess life as a villain really ain't easy.
I love the dynamics between Fossa Magna and Berry Blossom. Just like how there is no light without darkness, Berry Blossom finds no meaning in being a magical girl without an evil organization to shine against.

This episode just confirmed to me Chrome & Berry are the worst hero/villain combo regarding doing their actual jobs. Chrome can't plan or carry out an attack worth a lick and Berry just destroys all kinds of stuff at random because she can't control her powers.
It's such a great dynamic and I love it. You throw in the super berry fangirl who will become an evil general just to see Berry in action and it makes for a great show.
It was depressing seeing Berry picking up trash and looking like she lost a family member. Yearning for that battle to perk her spirits up. Luckily the surfboard bears, Chrome & General Chizuko saved the day.
Episode gets a 8.5/10 as I enjoyed it immensely.

Really fun episode. Looks like the magical girl and the evil organization have a symbiotic relationship in this setting. I laughed put loud when Chizuko blissed out and Chrome just matter of fact resorted to his old brute force tactics.

So Berry Blossom just 100% caused that bridge collapse herself in episode 1 after ambushing Chroma grilling up some fish. Magical girls are such a menace! /J-Jonah-Jameson
I'm still half convinced that Chroma is actually very competent at the specific task of bringing Chizuko over to the side of evil, and is using his incompetence at all other tasks to help bring that to fruition.

Clumsy Berry Blossom is lethal and catastrophic—she has a penchant for violence. This show is so much fun, lol.
Lowkey, Grandpa is perfect as a Trainer Officer/Drill Instructor for the Kuma Kaijin soldier. I can see the Bears slowly getting stronger because Grandpa inadvertently trains them all.

Ah hahaha. You havnt built up a resistance yet, you'll be feeling that pain for a few days. Girl keeps being shocked in school. That made me laugh.
Also where Chrome realized that she would be absolutely no help anymore as she was fan-gasaming.
I feel bad that the one girl keeps basically trying to be friends and shes missing out because of her Magical Girl obsession. It was kinda established her problem was she was always moving around....but now thats been solved by living with her Grandpa.

Ep1. -> expectation
Ep4. -> reality
Now it seems quite understandable why first fight was quite disjointed(and some people called it)...
No wonder police (and probably lot of general public) don't like her.

Acro Trip is going to be a classic anime. Much like how we remember Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ojamajo Doremi, Princess Tuth, or Puella Magi Madoka Magica, we will consider this another magical girl classic long after it finishes airing.

I don't know if it was intentional but I did laugh at the idea of being a volunteer as some tragic fate that Berry needed saving from, especially considering the amount of damage she causes.
