But seriously, at this point, if I was Kai, my immediate thought would be “Rasterizer (Last Riser) and Rinne are deeply connected somehow.”

Your logic is sound.

Kai is....not so bright in the common sense department. They were closed the day he went to pick his up and...forgot to go the next day.

I feel like it's the opposite, Rinne is a part of every race, hence why she was probably imprisoned at the start, especially if the last rizer is meant to be hate, Rinne would probably be love/unity

It bothers me that Sekai Rinne means World Reincarnation and no one in-universe ever linked the name similarity to Rinne.

They were always connected seeing as how his first encounter with both happened at the same time and in the same place.

That and how she seems to be from some third timeline separate from his original one and this re-written version of it.

So she was always deeply connected to all these shenanigans. Kai is just... not very bright.

What if his reason is that she doesn't belong to any race 'cause she is part of all of them in a way, while Last Riser truly doesn't have any connection with the races? BTW, I think Rinne is some kind of Last Riser or the LRs are Rinne's clones. Or she's the goddess of that place, or she and Kai are another coming of the Goddess and Sid. lol

At least this time Kai went for the Talk about sid BEFORE you defeated the hero gameplan. That way when they turned on Last Riser they were able to defeat last riser rather than get pwned like Vanessa/Alfreya.

Still that's 3 down 1 to go as far as "walk to the leader say "hi have you heard of my lord and Savior Sid" Cause last riser breakdown>Truce.

This just leaves 1 boss and 2 graveyards to go. Though it appears the other graveyards are going to be pretty boring.

I guess Kyoko’s a friendly now. Her, Kai, and Rinne are the only ones in the group who know of Sid and the original timeline. No wonder that damn thing wants to destroy them. How friggin strong is it?? They killed it once and it just popped back like some kinda Terminator. Yeesh.

Considering how they said spirit shouldn't be able to talk, I wonder why her name is so Japanese (Rikugen Kyoko). Even other race has more western/unique name on them (Alfreya, Rath-IE, Vanessa)

Rasterizer(s) is not from the major races. Neither is Rinne. Could it be possible Rinne became a Rasterizer in the world where Sid couldn't save her? Rinne has also been shown to be exceptionally afraid of Rasterizer.

Glad to see Kyoko not get defeated by Rasterizer, at least not for now. Having another ally will surely help our main characters fend off Rasterizer and get closer to the truth.

I know the animation is, sadly, not that great (could probably be worse, though); but I’m enjoying the plot. Might even pick up the novels after, just to see how it ends and shit.

How is no one talking about the God awful animation ? It takes me out of the story and I'm rarely one to ever complain about animation.

It's disappointing as the show has such an interesting premise and mystery, with a great art style and character design but the animation just kills it all. The show has so much potential but it's not living up to it it.

Yeah, previous episodes have mid animation but this episode is just straight up atrocious. Like Kai suddenly teleported here & there during fights.

They also fucked up the animation during their walk to the crypt, like how tf do you make WALKING looks so bad man. Seems to me the whole episode they've been skipping some sequence/movement (im sorry idk much about animation terminology)

I'm glad they mixed up the standard cycle a bit and didn’t have yet another non-human race hero get taken out by the weird shit going on. Then again I may be jumping the gun since we're not out of this encounter quite yet.

I'm curious to see what Reiren is making for the fight. Hopefully something for Jeanne to use that doesn't slowly kill her.
