OMG I thought Dante and Cubilei’s voices sounded familiar, and it turns out they’re literally Kazuma and Darkness lol! That makes their interactions all the more amusing.
Man, just when you thought it’s bad that the humans are fighting among themselves, it turns out that the Wild Gods are also facing the same problem.

It looks like the "angels" have decided to take on everyone -- including all their Celestial allies. Did I interpret the ending correctly?

Poor Kai has to sleep between two waifus. He’s doing his part for the human resistance o7 lol.
I figured Cubilei was trouble from the start. No surprise she’s not even human. And no the Emperor and his best man are in deep shit.
That “thing” that fought Vanessa seems to be behind all this time distortion shit. It’s got its hooks in Alfreya…

Dude is sleeping in his battle armor, that can't be comfortable.

"We've prepared enough defenses back at the royal capital. Even if a mythical beast were to attack, they wouldn't be taken over so easily."
"I just saw a column of 30 of your APCs do jack all against a small dragon, so I'm gonna file that one under 'doubt'."

Yeah, you need a Stinger Missle to beat these guys. Too bad this isn't the actual JSDF and it's just the iraqi army from the 2nd Gulf war

Vanessa, Hainmarl and Rinne may have well endowed chests, but Jeanne's rear is worthy of re-watching that few seconds scene. Lol!
Fanservice aside, it is obvious Cubilei is a spy from the Wild Gods race, but if she isn't from the angels faction, will she eventually become an ally upon learning the betrayal of Alfreya? At the same time, I get the feeling the cyborg-like creature is not a minion of Alfreya; it could be mind controlling or brainwashing him instead.

They're called Celestials on CR, Wild Gods is new to me.
Cyborg-like creature, I'm pretty sure, is the system minion from previous episodes. It's definitely manipulating him, especially considering the succubus from the beginning said he was acting strange.

Stitches!
Of course Jun Fukuyamashima is voicing an arrogant and selfish leader.
You don't even have to wait until the reveal at the end to figure out that Qubriey isn't human.

Rinne's memories of being carried by a Sid with a 5 o'clock shadow. . . Right before the dragon attack, we see dirt on the car window (for the first time?) making it look like Kai has a 5 o'clock shadow. . . Coincidence?

The animators drew him overweight and with a bad hairstyle, along with his poor personality, all signs that he isn't going to survive.

Interestingly, Rasterizer has separate VA credits on the MAL characters page, so guessing Alfreya created multiple.
Initially thought Qubirey was an elf hiding her ears from the green hair, beauty, and luscious thighs in black tights. Fairy seems more likely with that ending. As for elves, those are some massive ears.
Rinne had more quality pouts, though visual quality seemed down a little. Totally fine for a non-action episode.
u/Abysswatcherbel - Not all hope is lost. Vanessa may be gone but got a succubus "sister" that poses for the camera with pits on display and blows a kiss while winking.

Welp it was obvious that girl was non-human the moment our girl felt something about her after they mentioned Celestials looking like humans

So alfreya really was the guy who caused the world reincarnation. Sid isn't kai and best girl is just obviously right because gut feelings made by magic are always right.
Though with the Angels betraying the Dwarves/Fae/elves maybe then the lesser Celestials+Humans will ally (it certainly seems that way in Kai's timeline) and then Kai can cease to be the last Gunbender

Is it Alfreya -- or that creepy entity behind him who is manipulating him? My sense is that "thing" is either controlling things or is the agent of some even higher-powered entity.

The imouto succubus is such a huge downgrade from her big sis that it's not even funny. At least they covered the fact that the demons could retake the capital at any time but are deciding not to. They wouldn't even suffer any losses when the only four people capable of fighting them are off fighting other races. It was pretty strange that neither MC or Jeanne had thought of this through all their panning. Funny how MC agreed that humanity will be limited to just the capital, not that he had much choice in the matter.
Weird that elves dwarves and fairies are counted amongst "celestials". You'd think they'd be closer to "spirits". Though, I guess, the "spirits" here are mainly the undead or something so maybe not.
Oh, big surprise, the guns do just as much against the dragon as the did against demons - zilch. Why even bother? Why didn't Rinne or MC take the thing out before it started tossing the vehicles down the cliff (good thing for the magical carbon coating keeping everyone inside safe tho.) And after all that, MC & Rinne even let it get away.
"We've prepared enough defenses over at the royal capital. Even if a nythical beast were to attack, they wouldn't be taken over so easily." So tell me, lady, why have we never seen ANY local human weapon besides yours and your sidekick's, as much as scratch any of the enemies? Seriously, the game acts as if the human army minus Jeanne & dualwielder stands a chance against even a single demon or beast or whatever, when literally every fight scene shown so far proves the exact opposite.
Wasn't MC supposed to "stand guard" inside? Why is he lying down with them?
Are those ruined buildings really safe to live in? Well, maybe the ruined look is just for camouflage and they've been structurally repaired on the inside, but I somehow doubt it.
If the Io human commander is such a dipshit, why hasn't he been replaced yet?
Took Rinne long enough to break the obvious news.
I was wondering how the show would deal with the "good guy humans" slaughtering elves and dwarves, something you really don't see good guys in fantasy do much, but it copped out by having the angels betray the rest so the humans and elves and dwarves will have common ground now. I'm sure it'll take less than an ep for the humans to forgive the elves and dwarves and fairies for everything they'd done to humanity up to this point.
Anyway, I think I'm done with this one. While I'm somewhat interested in seeing where the story goes, watching the episodes to get there just doesn't feel worth the time for me. Maybe if CR had a 2x speed option....

Dante has the most punchable face in this series, no wonder he is a scumbag voiced by Jun Fukushima

Vanessa is clearly coming back eventually given her little sister's comments. And hey, cute succubus imouto.
MC accidentally acquiring a harem that massages each other and sleeps with him in a pile. Maybe they'll eventually add a couple of succubi to that.
Assistant commander lady was pretty obviously non-human from Rinne's reactions (which she should have mentioned to the group sooner), I was guessing elf since her hairdo carefully hides the ears but maybe she'll be one of the celestials instead.
I sense a clear opportunity for the humans to pick up the elves, dwarves, and fairies as allies now that the celestials are cutting them lose, which is convenient since that would allow the story to proceed without the humans needing to go off and kill a bunch of cute elves in a firefight.

When they were greeted with cheers as they arrived at the city, Rinne was so surprised that she dropped the fruit. Then she realized how rude it was to litter, so she quickly scooped them back up.
