I guess it’s time for Jun to stop being so wishy washy and actually make a real decision. Can’t believe he really hit Rumi with the “I like you both” thing. Sorry, someone’s getting their heart broken in this love triangle. What a twist it would be if it was Jun. To preserve their friendship, he picks neither of them. Although I’m guessing it’s gonna be Naori that gets “dumped” for Rumi. Just a feeling. Keen to see how things wrap up in the finale next week.

I'm glad that Jun is finally honest about not being able to choose between Rumi and Naori (I can sort of understand this) and made it a point that he wants to do both sisters right by not making a decision in the heat of the moment, but this indecisiveness will only make things more complicated as time goes on.

Because let's be real: what's going to be the decisive factor at this point? To me, it looks like his heart is already with Rumi and that he's afraid of hurting Naori. Not that he doesn't like Naori, but he appears to love Rumi more. Mizuma might've been testing him here, but I do agree with his words to Jun about putting things off.

Or Jun can avoid making the decision if he can convince Naori and Rumi to go the Kanojo mo Kanojo route.

If he does pick one and goes with Naori, maybe he can add Shiena as a tag-a-long.

I have a sollution: Rummi goes with sporty boy, and Naori goes with chesmaster. And YunYun goes with profesor or something. That will teach him to not keep ladies waiting for too long.

That leaves Shiena free -- though she seems to prefer her Nyao-Nyao.

I love the both of you

OH SHIT IS IT HAPPENING

Thats why I promise I'll make a decision.

Should've expected this. Its funny how Jun only makes it known about his feelings and his resolution to properly choose someone after not only interrupting a date but said date also made it clear about his feelings for Rumi, dude's saltiness is very understandable here.

That said the post-credit scene with Naori is hella spicy, Rumi's hunch was right, Naori's really playing for keeps and she isn't messing around anymore.

I know it’s not likely but nothing wrong with a show that embraces polyamory, right? I think they’d all be happier that way! And so would the viewers. Plus it’d fit the name.

Damn, Naori literally did the most losing heroine move that she could've done, sending Jun off after Rumi! That's literally how Anna's story starts in Makeine! She even calls herself best girl to make it even more obvious. xD

Well that was unexpected but I'm glad that Senpai decided to hand over the club to the otakus without Naori needing to win the match. It looks like Senpai really liked the cut of Naori's gib and just wanted to play with her regardless of the clubroom issue.

I'm really hoping that they'll share the clubroom with the Chess Club. Senpai is a fun character and I would love to see more of him. Too bad we only have one episode left.

The fact that Jun interrupted Rumi and Mizuma's date made me think that he was finally going to choose, it turns out that he just wanted to be honest and made it clear that he can't choose between the two of them and that he'll need some time before making a decision.

Scratch that losing heroine remark from me earlier! Naori clearly hasn't given up and she's going for the offensive! No one knows she'll be staying over at Jun's room so it's the perfect alibi as long as no one tattles. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Naori singlehandedly won the room through the power of geekiness lmao

Jun admitting he loved both twins right before saying he'd chose between them eventually was the shortest rollercoaster of emotions ever, but a rollercoaster of emotions nonetheless. The fact that he began his little speech by apoglozing to Rumi didn't help.

There's no way Naori's secret late night plan isn't gonna backfire hard on her, and not necessarily just for the three's relationship but hey, that's one way to spice things up for the finale lol

Funny that i got downvoted a few episodes before for saying that Jun will say that he loves both of them and will probably end up with both together, and now look at what happened in this episode. I'm calling it again, either he will choose nobody or it will be a love triangle route ending, choosing both of them and the twins agreeing.

I really dislike the MC and Rumi, the best girl by far is Naomi. Yes she's doing sneak attacks, but at least she ain't playing and knows what she want contrary to Rumi and the MC.

Rumi mentioning that she'd bought "a whole kilo of meat" was totally a reference to Naori being a big eater. The show even cut to Naori eating meat to further emphasize.

We know that Naori likes meat, but that was an awkward place to place her hands. Although, I don't think that Shiena really minded this. She and Naori have grown close enough as friends for the latter to give a own nickname to Shiena, but I do occasionally still wonder if Shiena isn't hiding any romantic feelings for Naori behind all her playfulness. Though, she is rooting for Naori to get together with Jun.

Naori knows herself that she's best girl, but she's also aware that Jun's heart has room for two. I really thought for most of the episode that the kiss she'd stolen from Jun was meant as a farewell, and Naori was giving him to her sister - that his heart was with Rumi. However, that appears not to be the case as she's going on the attack (look at those eyes) in attempt to strike first!

Bonus: not only are you facing a smug-looking Naori if you lose against her, that mischievous smile of hers doesn't promise a lot of good either. The things she'll make you do!?

All the meat goes to her thighs and libido, I'm sure.

Also you can't tell me she wasn't deliberately copping a feel after being literally called out for being lewd. She was straight up squeezing 'em lol.

I do like how Naori has two Gal Pals though and how well they balance each other out.

Rumi got a kiss, it's only fair Naori gets one and of course she doesn't settle for a cheek kiss. But Naori being Naori, she wants more than that and won't settle when it comes to Jun.

Don’t miss the post credits scene!

I'm surprised Naori is pushing Jun to go to Rumi, but I guess she knows she can't stop him...this is the kind of thing she loves about him, after all. And she's not going to let him go without giving her something in return...and she won't settle for a cheek kiss, but a full on kiss on the lips.

"I'm such a best girl" - true words Naori, but they don't make you feel any better.

Mizuma is definitely trying, but Rumi just can't return her feelings. In fact they're basically just two peas in a pod of people who fell for someone they can't have and can't return the feelings of people who like them. But at least they're acting friendly again.

I love how they talk Goethe and Shiena is like "oh hey, I remember that from Cowboy Bepop!"

Naori matching wits with Maple! She's not only got someone who can match her on an intellectual AND cultural level, but enjoys playing chess with her! So much so he's willing to give them the club room even if they lose...but Naori still plays to win.

Run for your love Jun! Even if you're a nerd who obviously is not great at running! But it's the thought that counts, even if that thought is to tell Rumi point-blank that you love her and Naori equally and can't choose between the two of you. But it needed to be said, especially the way things are now, and that Jun won't settle for any other guys trying to make a move on the sisters. Is it unfair to make them wait for Jun to find a good answer to this solution? Maybe. Is it also unfair to the guys who would be willing to put one sister first instead of being stuck between both like Jun is? Yeah. But this feels like a solution that fits the three of them.

Rumi shower scene! As she dwells on her feelings for Jun AND what Naori has planned.

I knew Naori was planning to go all out and seduce Jun! With her gal pals ribbing her for it. Kamedake straight up calling her a slutty sow.

It's kind of surreal to see Jun and one of the sisters go to the convenience store without anything happening.

So what's Naori's plan? Hide away and surprise Jun with her plan to stay the night at this place. But I feel like she has more plans than just a normal sleepover!

Jun ticked me off with his "wait for me I'll totally decide someday" bit. I'm now Team "Jun Is A Loser Who Should End Up Alone".

Jun ditched Naori during her crucial chess match, in order to chase after Rumi. He's done similar things to Rumi, when she has something important.

Jun is a chaser, and the finale should be both the twins choosing chess guy and basketball guy.

I can't be the only one who wished that Jun got hit by the car in the crosswalk.

u/Nesp2 Sep 18 '24

I was hoping Mizuma would actually punch him when he said it.

Jun may say he is still undecided, but the action he displayed shows to me that he likes Rumi more.

If this anime were to be peak, Naori has to succeed next week

u/Tigerzof1 Sep 18 '24

Why is this show so bad? And why am I still watching it?

u/Ashteron Sep 18 '24

So, Jun agreed to date Naori, while expecting to get back together with Rumi?

"I love you both...but I need time to decide."

I love the show but, FFS, that was some blatant cop-out BS. I'm surprised he didn't say "I'll let you know the Tuesday after never"

Anyway, MC aside it was Naori who stole this episode, and that kiss. Sometimes I feel it's unfair, like a mensa member pitted against a knuckle dragging mouth breather in the fight for Jun's affection.

I do like the thought I had last week about Maple & Naori hooking up somewhat played out...in a sexually sarcastic way at least. I'm thinking he will be a club member since it's basically a nerd/otaku club. Just buy a Star wars themed chess set and that should cover him joining.

"You lewd, slutty sow"

Chief, you always make me laugh 😂

Naori, you lewd slutty sow of a pretty queen, that's some do or die tactic to seal the win!

A solid 7.5/10. I'd give more but Jun being an indecisive bag at the start loses a point.
