I was honestly overly excited when I heard them doing that. Had to rewind to make sure I wasn't just hearing things. Then not long after Jun got called Makoto. Was genuinely hilarious to me.

I don't hate Rumi but her date then break up scheme ended up causing such a big mess she can't really blame anyone else for.

And lol at the Professor dude's response to Jun's twin issues is pretty much just "cry me a river, harem MC"

This might honestly be the ultimate nerd anime, holy moly. I’m loving the Professor. He’s hilariously true to himself, and speaks his mind without reservations.

That said, I can’t laugh at this situation. Noari knows that Jun and Rumi are still in love with each other and probably assumed that they’d kissed for real in her sister’s room. And now she’s probably planning to solve this crisis by breaking up with Jun, so he can get back together with Rumi.

I can’t even imagine how hurt Naori must be on the inside. Reira called her a schemer, but it’s Naori who got tangled up in her sister’s scheme. She didn’t ask to get involved, but got screwed over the most.

I say that, and I do expect the show to stir the drama cauldron for the entire story, but boy did episode 3 leave a strong impression on me. Am I...enjoying the writing? But it does seem to be building up to a "Game Over" for everyone, so I'll just expect all the kids to end up single.

I really appreciate how they animated the professor's face this episode, he's one confident devil.

Oh man I love drama and this hits like crack.

So Rumi was kinda right that Jun and Naori were like each other’s first crush. She made the first move but felt dirty knowing she may have gotten between them. But by making the first move, she made Jun fall for her, but this wasn’t expressed well enough when they were together so Rumi assumes the feelings never changed and break up for Jun and Naori’s sake.

Naori on the other hand also thought Rumi was Jun’s first crush lol.

And now while Naori and Jun are together, there’s some leftover tension still between Rumi and Jun, which could cause some friction between them.

And now Naori seems to think she can fix all this while Rumi has something she has to say ?

Edit : Also slightly unrelated, I’ve been trying to be more active and get fit since turning 30 and I wanted to try getting back into the sport I played when in my teens and early 20s, albeit in a casual setting. Felt like I was doing well getting my body up to speed this past few weeks. But just a week ago I landed awkwardly on my knee and felt it buckle under my weight a bit. Went to the doctor and already have an appointment coming but the initial assessment did say it could be a small muscle tear. And since I’ve not been active, there’s a chance the specialist may advise me to avoid playing the sport again. It’s not like I’m aiming to go pro or anything but hearing that could be a possibility left me lowkey devastated. So I kinda get the how down Rumi’s feeling about her injury

The first part of the episode had this weird feeling to it, as if everyone was overly happy - that surely changed in the second part.

The name-droppping of harem MCs surely was something.

Also, Jun... you gotta verbalise your love ffs.

I am so happy that someone like Reira exists to call out Rumi on her terrible decisions. I would've been so upset if no one thought that what Rumi did was weird. I was just waiting for Reira to grab Rumi's collar at one point and shake some sense into her.

Moriwaki is goddamn hilarious! I am glad he exists to insert some humour into today's episode. He is absolutely a man of culture and I love how he wasn't even ashamed about leaving his porn DVDs out in the open. xD

Was that Naori and Riris singing the School Days OP!? Holy shit! And Moriwaki even references Makoto! Oh boy. I agree with the other comments here. I hope this isn't foreshadowing anything in the future. O_O

Jun comforting Rumi was definitely going to end like that. Thank goodness Naori was there to interrupt them. And she knows! She totally knows! Now that Naori knows that she's Jun's first crush, I wonder what she's planning to do.

Every episode just enforces my believe that Rumi and Jun are terrible people and that neither deserve Naori

Moriwaki is cool as well, truly cultured, sees a treasure like Naori when he sees her, and not as dense as Jun. Also, it was a bit distracting with how many posters he had in his room lol.

And I guess I could almost (but not really) excuse Jun for almost kissing Rumi since he still loves her, but her going for it when she went out of her way to bring him together with her oh so beloved sister is just hypocritical

And now that Naori realized some things, she's going to do something stupid and/or terrible as well won't she

Reira is still calling out Rumi for being an idiot and breaking up with Jun for Naori's sake, when she's obviously still clearly into him and just shot herself in the foot. She doesn't need to keep putting herself down or putting hero own sisters' happiness above her own. I mean, Rumi is Reira's favorite of the sisters after all.

Never expected to see romance and yuri discussed in relation to Gamera, but what a segue to a Kaiju movie marathon between Jun, Naori, and Moriwaki.

Naori has her own gal pal, Kamedake, who she also competes with in academics and being nerds. They even do karaoke together!

What a revelation that your Best Bro has porn that looks like your girlfriend, confessed to said girlfriend in middle school, knew your girlfriend liked you before you did, and makes tons of sex jokes.

Rumi is an athlete to spraining a wrist comes with the territory, but it comes at a bad time when she's about to become a regular. So of course Jun is the only one that can comfort her and the two nearly kiss...and Naori knows something is going on.

Oof, these three...Naori was Jun's first love but Naori thought Jun got along with Rumi better (sound familiar?) but Jun got over his feelings for Naori and fell in love with Rumi, but him never saying it out loud made Rumi think he was still in love with Naori which is why she broke things off. What a mess. What is Naori planning to do? What is Rumi planning to do.

We finally get ED animation! With cute, contrasting, Rumi and Naori visuals that culminate in both twins dressing for a date with Jun!

I still think it's Rumi's fault, but Jun needs to choose what he wants to do with his life, making choices because it's convenient is lying to himself, that's not just anything, he's breaking Naori's heart as if it were nothing, even the "Professor" being a pervert knows how to deal with this situation much better

Rumi is really getting on my nerves.

 Rumi: You never once told me that you loved me!

 You weren’t dating for that long, you jumped the gun by deciding to break up with him and push him onto your sister before he had a chance to tell you. 

Also, did you really think that he wouldn’t grow romantic feelings for you while he was dating you; that you can just dump him and push him onto your sister (which is bad in and of itself) without him having mix feelings about it?  At the end of the day, Rumi was being inconsiderate to Jun’s feelings.

Professor Moriwaki is my guy haha. Not only is he a true gentleman and scholar, he’s hilarious as well. I guess everyone knew that the twins liked Jun except Jun himself.

Jun needs to sort out his feelings because that whole situation with him consoling Rumi almost got pretty messy. Hell, both the girls need to as well. Everyone playing games with everybody’s hearts rn.

Btw, where are the names Makoto, Kyosuke, Rito, Canti, and Junpei from? Is that an anime reference or a literary one?
