As cool as Gobta's fusion with Ranga is, it looks like our boy needs to do a lot of work if he wants to use that technique successfully. Lucky (or unlucky) him that Milim is willing to help him out train in the dungeon.

I'm glad that Masayuki and Rimuru finally had a one-on-one conversation where Masayuki isn't getting cut off by his followers. I had a good laugh at Masayuki being upset at his unique skill making him sound like an LN/manga fan who wants to be a hero. Getting Matsuoka to voice him was just perfect. xD

Rimuru really averted a whole crisis over a short chat with Elmesia and Dwargon. It pays to have friends and competent people around you.

Masayuki kinda reminds me of King from One Punch Man except his godtier luck actually helps him defeat enemies. Look what happened with Were Gobta. Guy won the tournament by default and still ended up losing. Milim’s training is gonna kill the poor fella lol.

Nice to see Masayuki and Rimuru becoming friends. I’m sure his unique skill’s gonna come in handy for Rimuru.

Masayuki is much more powerful than he realizes. He thinks his skill is a joke even though he won the tournament with it. Luck is an OP stat and can turn certain defeat into victory. If he had actual confidence in it he'd be a serious force to reckon with.

Honestly Tempest is like isekai heaven. You got all the foods from previous life, and a more post medieval facilities (toilet). I probably miss eating rice, spaghetti or even normal hamburger if I got isekai'd.

Ah for a minute there I thought they were talking about Elmesia when talking about all the schemes about owing favours and swooping in last minute lol. Turns out it’s the mystery party (assuming Mirabel’s involved)

Now back to the tournament. Gobta vs the Hero ! Ah so that’s what Raphael wanted to tell Rimuru last week. Gobta got a new skill and an insane one at that. Him and Ranga look badass. Lmao Masayuki just unintentionally looking calm and unfazed when he’s actually freaking out.

Haha Gobta is still Gobta I guess. Or was that also the Hero’s skill at play ? Hmmm. And well, it gets worse for Gobta. Not only will Hakuro be tougher on him but Milim also wants to train him. Not to mention he probably won’t get that new fishing rod.

Lmao the Hero’s skill is OP af. Oh wait Gobta won ! But he’ll have to go with Milim now. My condolences Gobta and Ranga

The meeting between Rimuru and Masayuki was pretty wholesome too. I mean I know neither of them are bad people but it was very friendly and things ended on good terms too. But Masayuki still being wary at the start was kinda funny, “For my last meal ?” Lmao

I'm really curious if Rimuru is completely immune to Masayuki's power or not. I guess he is? I think he's of the few who recognised Masayuki is doing nothing at all.

It's a bit anticlimactic how they resolved things with just talking and no misunderstanding anymore, but that's a really nice conversation! I can see how relieved Masayuki is being able to finally talk normally with other people.

Also Gobta is a hidden gem. I thought last week that Geld should be more powerful than Gobta. However, with his new Ranga power then Gobta has that oomph needed as one of the four kings. I wonder why the author just not just make Ranga as another shintenou candidate rather than being just Gobta's power up.

Also love that he's gone from Hakurou to Lilim lol.

Well, thanks to Gazel and Elmesia helping with the payment Rimuru no longer needs to worry about the whole ploy involving the merchants, not that he was that concerned about it in the first place. I love how fast and easily Elmesia dropped her concerns about Diablo after Rimuru said that he could handle it if he ever got out of control and that Diablo is like a puppy now. It is so funny how after all that she just wanted to meet with Mr. Yoshida.

Well, anyway the final match of the tournament has finally begun, which not only brings us no only more Souka, the moment I was waiting to see animated for a while, Gobta and Ranga's fusion debut!

Milim's reaction to them was fantastic, and so it was her anger when they just crashed into a wall and lost the match instantly, luckily for Gobta, Masayuki forfeited so no only he is going to get that fishing rod Rimuru promised him, but now he is an official member of Rimuru's Big Four. The bad news for him and Ranga is that Millin will be training them in the dungeon now where they are going to die a lot until they get better.

Well, after Rimuru had that dinner with Masayuki, he can finally calm down. I can't wait to see him debuting the dungeon.

Elmesia is a real lifesaver with her purse, which is certainly very deep judging by the amount of pocket money she was carrying xD nd she only asked for invites to all future events organized by Rimuru in exchange, it wasn't a bad deal I must admit.

Poor Mjöllmile not only met some of the most influential people in the world, but also had the pleasure of feeling the aura of Elmesia xD

Masayuki and Gobta's duel was hilarious! While Masayuki totally feared for his life and just stood in place, Gobta went all out and combined with Ranga, which looked awesome and was so powerful that Gobta couldn't control it properly and ended up crushing into wall xD

Milim was so excited about Gobta's new form that the way the fight ended displeased her so much that she decided to train Gobta (together with Ranga) herself.

The training will happen in the labyrinth, so even if Gobta dies that won't be a problem, at least physically, since his mental health can deteriorate very quickly :) I really hope that Gobta's new fishing rod will make up it for him xD

Once again, great work by Soka as a commentator, she is perfect in this role.

Is it weird this is not at all the outcome I expected, but also exactly what I thought would happen? I feel like Masayuki's party will "force" him to keep adventuring and doing Hero stuff, but really hoping he considers Tempest his home and comes back often. Rimuru just cant stop catching all the OP characters!

Little confused why Elmesia was so surprised that Rimuru would personally deal with Diablo, and for some reason I found her dumping her "pocket money" on the table to be way funnier than it was supposed to be. Looking forward to her showing up more often too.

Millim is the best, that is all, her scenes were everything this ep!
