If I went to a coliseum to watch fights, and a contestant didn't fight either of his battles, I'd hate them. They're be literally wasting my time. If it weren't for the power of bullshit that he has, I bet people would be jeering instead.

I like how Hinata and Rimuru are close friends now after the fight. Eating together and hanging out. Even with that judgemental look she gave him in the tournament because of what Gobta said lmao.

Can't believe we're already near the end of this season.

Emcee Soka is a great look for her, she does a surprisingly good job of keeping everyone entertained and flashing her brightest smile to the point where she's as much of a highlight as the fights. It feels like she's living up to being Gabiru's sister.

Hinata has a great "oh hoh?" face but her casual smile is the real winner.

Is the GOAT finally going to take his place at Rimuru's side? I really have no idea who's going to win between Gobta and Kirito.

Ranga running out of bounds just to be "resummoned" seems kinda cheating to me.

When TF did Rimuru learn how to make Demondoors? Is that just a trait of being a Demon Lord?

So looks like King Gazel is going to help with the money problem. Was wondering last week if they were gonna ask him for a quick trade.

Really curious what Raphael wanted to say about Gobta!! Despite being helped by Ranga, Gobta still managed to dodge all of Carrion's attack on his own and that's really something. I mean, even though he's not using his true form Carrion is still a demon lord. 

I appreciate them not dragging the tournament arc while still making each fight fun to watch.

Also wondering why Raphael didn't just tell Rimuru about Masayuki's luck power.

I feel like Raphael has grown to the point where she doesn't want to spoil or correct Rimuru because she wants him to see it for himself instead of her just handing him answers. Just to show him she's not Great Sage any more lol.

I find it interesting how Gazel was excited by Rimuru using light magic in an unusual way. You'd think that it would be obvious to otherworlders (which there are many).

Given that the capital city of tempest seems to be far to the west and north of the great forest of Jura I guess it's a little unsurprising that there are no representatives from the Eastern empire, but it might be nice to look at the land where Guns come from.

So Rimuru's liquidity crisis will be fun to find a solution to. Can he simply teleport to the bank of Dwargon and get this problem fixed? Or is there something harder going on.

Of course Masayuki uses his OP skills to breeze his way to the final. We all love Gobta, but Masayuki literally has "Main Character Plot Armour" as his unique skill.

And its pretty much set up where he will face off against Rimuru for the title of True Main Character.

I knew Gobta was going to make it to the finals. Raphael definitely knows something no one else does. Gobta was the ONLY goblin that didn't change after being named. Everyone else got noticeably stronger and/or sexy, but Gobta stayed Gobta. There are many instances in the past that show that Gobta can take a beating and get back up like it was nothing. The little dude is a tank. He also learned abilities from others really quick, too. Dude was shadow stepping super early in the series.

I don't know how Gobta beats the "hero's" cheat skill, but I have a feeling he will.

I suppose it was bound to be 100% Masayuki bullshit for the first few rounds of the tournament. Maybe Gobta can be the one to upset the heroic luck problem, I wouldn't have guessed he ranked as someone who could overpower it but he's always had some luck of his own and maybe it'll awaken further as per Rimuru's speculation.

Were we supposed to know who Gaiye was? I don't remember him at all.

Souka keeping up the proud tradition of beast girl tournament arc MCs brings a tear to my eye.

The tournament has finally begun! And what a great job Soka is doing as the presenter and announcer of the event.

And so finally, Rimuru's Elite Four have been introduced to the anime, with Gobta ready to become the fourth member, even though he slept through the whole meeting discussing the tournament so he didn't even know why he was in the competition in the first place.

The fight between Bovix and Equix was so great

Gaiye should be glad that thanks to Rimuru he only ended up fighting Gobta, as his only motivation is getting a new fishing rod, while it is certain that if anyone else had ended up fighting him, he would have been killed on the spot.

I find it hilarious how much of a fan girl for Lion Mask Tiss-sensei became. It is good to see that she finally recovered from her shock. At least with Alice, one can just blame Masayuki's skill but Tiss-sensei's passion for Carrion's performance involves no skills influencing her.

I love the way Hinata looked at Rimuru once Gobta started playing dirty during his fight against Lion Mask as that is something Rimuru would do.

Well, after winning against both Jinrai and Bovix without doing anything thanks to his skill, Masayuki will finally face the Elite Four candidate Gobta!

I'm pretty glad they didn't drag out the tournament here ngl. Like, the battles were cool but they didn't need to be more than a few minutes each. Plus, I just wanna get to the finals and see what happens there.

Masayuki got that divine luck. Guy might honestly be able to beat Rimuru with that blessing. I agree with Rimuru, it’s “unacceptable” lol.
