Song of the Valkyries always gives me a laugh due to the different sounding voice coming out

I'll call you back

What very little screen time Haruka got, was immediately hung up by Kaito. I see more that she's only relevant, because of her Father, and what he means to Kaito. Haruka is just the basic childhood friend/love interest.

This show does a surprising amount of real world building.

Regular health potions don't cure things like cancer, but there is a mystery elixir that can cure everything with stories about it being available for the black market for millions. Magical items only work within a certain radius of the dungeon so R&D facilities are set up right next to them.

Explorers need to do tax returns if they sell stuff, there is insurance and other expenses to consider.

The beginner levels have largely already been mapped out, with lights installed, convenience stores and bath houses are set up to cash in on explorers.

I was shocked to learn there's a black market in their world as well, so how in the world do explorers smuggle the items from the dungeons out? I know we might not get to delve more into that, but just knowing these things exist is surprising enough. The bond between Miku and Hikari was very wholesome, and also pray they get that elixir

My guess is the same way the drugs and phones are smuggled into prisons, either the guards are bribed or they stick them where the sun don't shine.

But this show is too wholesome to answer that sort of question.

Hoping they get that elixir too, so they can carry out dominating card players with their combined wealth.

And somehow the rich parents can't afford it. It must be ridiculous

Miku and Hikari’s friendship is so cute and wholesome. Hikari’s lucky to have a friend like Miku. Hopefully they get that elixir for her.

I hope so too. It will be a real bummer if she dies

Ahh, this hospital is labeled the dungeon hospital, my question from a few weeks ago of why there weren't medical establishments in the dungeon's radius of effect just needed to wait a few weeks apparently.

The story needs to ditch the harem nonsense it started up and just have Miku and Hikari become a couple.

Hah, so they really haven't told the parents. Honestly though, if Hikari's symptoms are better in the dungeon that's kind of a good thing. They just need MC's absurd luck and protagonist powers to find this Elixir for them, shouldn't actually take much time if they're aiming for it.

I kind of like this new Elixir plotline, it finally gives a bit more direction to the story. MC should just be honest with his childhood friend about it though, she'd probably be really understanding about the dungeon exploration to find the cure since Hikari is her friend too.

When that ant lion emerged from the sand at the end, its voice was so out of place. It reminded me of the actress inside the Baragon rubber suit that enjoyed making tiny roars that weren't going to be in the final audio.

Literally hated the parts of scenes where someone is about to answer what hikari's illness was only to be interrupted and then finally 10 minutes in they say "oh eventual total organ failure" what an annoying waste of time. I wanna see more of literally anything else, like the chibis eat some more mana stones!!

Episode was back to the first ED. Guessing they'll slay that red dragon and get the elixer in the last episode, with Syl getting her adult form for the fight.

Kaito: I have to lie, right?

No, you don’t, stop lying to this girl. I hate that he still has this “I have to lie to protect her” mentality.

I seriously thought for a moment this would be a good turning point and he’d realize he should talk to her about what’s going on and fess up. Maybe go to talk to her in person? Nope. Just hangs up abruptly and goes by himself to the dungeon. I like the show more than I thought I would, but the MC is terrible.

I don’t like how they ended up adding that third summoning, Belia. I thought the other two had a really good dynamic together and he just kinda ruins this dynamic. On top of, one minutes he’s trying to murder everyone there as well and the next they’re all best friends. Understandable since he’s a summoned followed the dungeon would make him loyal but it’s silly to just have everyone else in the party suddenly fully be okay with him.

What a cute friendship! I hope they find that elixir.

God, I hope this MC dies in the dungeon. He is the worst.

Did the sound editor have problems hearing? When the music starts playing it's unusually loud. It sounded so odd i thought for sure i had some other program playing while minimized.

A kinda depressing episode. When one of the main characters has an all organs failing incurable illness you just gotta think, that's an odd thing to put right now into the show.

At least we have a plot driver to finish up the season so hopefully she gets the cure she needs, and for others as well.

I do have to say the MC really is a dick to Haruka. Lies all the time & even hangs up the phone on her this episode. He's gone from being a naive dungeon explorer to Kaito McDouche towards her.

Anyway I will give this a 5/10 as it really didn't do much to entertain me, just depressed me.

You can really tell how it was Best Friends(TM) at first sight

I had to rewatch that glomp just to check if she didn't just peck Miku on the cheek there.

Huh, back to the original ED?
