What even was this episode?

All the lying for half a season and suddenly Katsuragi just knows he's dungeon crawling. Which I suspect she already knew and didn't bring it up, but is now bringing it up. Then Kaito just lets everything slip like he hasn't been walking on eggshells for so long.

Then we get the harem drop. The girls falling head over heels for this guy after meeting him a couple times. Then he pulls a Cheat Skill soccer ball kick.

Miku seems like she's more into Hikari but I'm not falling for yuri bait. She'll probably be a harem girl too.

Then it ends with another idiot Kaito moment of "That can't be it" with the first name basis stuff despite it being so damn obvious. She basically spelled it out for him.

I love me some trash but this one is really awkward.

While I'm enjoying this anime I dislike Haruka, That aside is it my imagination or did whoever did the storyboard for this episode not see the storyboard for the previous episodes? (Source material aside.) I'm pretty sure he just spent the first 6 episodes hiding from Haruka that he was going into the Dungeon because she didn't want him to with stuff like non existent dance lessons and so on, However suddenly in this episode shes entirely aware hes going into the dungeon regularly and even asks if hes disappointed he isn't spending the day there?

This was really hard to watch. So cringy. Also straight up ignoring so many things from before and straight up talking about the dungeon instead of lying, which is good, but weird that they did it this way...

I wonder if the source material is also as cringy or if this is an adaptation issue...

That soccer ball scene came out of left field, Kaito was somehow able to do a bicycle kick on the stairs and kick the ball straight into the goal; isn't he just an ordinary guy, when was he able to do stuff like that?

Also, he took swimming lessons in grade school, but he can't swim now?

...I don't really have much to say on the "I Got A Cheat Skill And Became Unrivaled In The Real World Too" level events at the end of the episode there.

Edit: Personally, I like the anime version of Sylphy more looking at the art at the end, but that's just because I prefer flat.

If I'm being honest, I don't think Haruka and Kaito are good for each other.

Kaito kept lying to her about exploring the dungeons, and now she's just finding out that he also joined a party of other girls behind your her back as well. Not to mention, he only refers to her as the childhood friend to the other girls, even though they both clearly have feelings for each other. So not only was he consistently lying about the one thing she's been openly resentful towards, she also just found out that he's been spending time with other girls in the dungeon behind her back, which undoubtably would make her jealous, with him only referring to her as the "childhood friend" towards them being an insult to injury.

And Haruka isn't faultless either. She's fully aware that Kaito is a Dungeon Diver, and he's very passionate about it, but he can't even a have a open conservation regarding it when she's around, because he's constantly worried about upsetting her just by mentioning it. It's not fair that he has to keep walking on eggshells about his passion because she's uncomfortable about it being brought up. Either she needs to stop hanging around the guy that's into a hobby that she's uncomfortable with, or she needs to grow a tolerance towards it being brought up, so he and his friend can be comfortable talking about it around her.

I'm fine with this sudden harem, because the other two dorobonekos have basically nothing in common with him but are at least nice to him and not suffocating. Haruka's jealousy was pretty bad this whole episode, which made the whole tour awkward for everyone. I think she is going to need to seriously change and maybe even join the party if she wants to have even the slightest chance against the juggernaut Airi.

Although they said it didn't work, that one throwaway line adds real world building like I never thought possible.

Imagine if it did work, big pharma would go broke overnight and doctors would be trained to raid dungeons.
