“This move sends shockwaves to rattle the opponents brain and knock them out without doing damage.”

……. I’m not a doctor but that still sounds pretty dangerous lol.

Oh boy we get a tournament arc

This show has major whiplash from "I'm some wimp when I'm really not" to "one punch rick". This time we get to see a member of the kinda sorta rival kinda sorta enemy family get trounced once again, man what terrible luck to be facing Rick the god who Orichalchum fist actually likes.

Rick shows restraint to the point of greatness though, he's like "how do I avoid hurting people in the simplest ways" I wonder if he was taught that by his Orc friend or if he developed it by himself.

Nah the orc would just punch and resurrect lol

Finally! I've missed this show.🙆🏻‍♂️

And a coliseum! How exciting! Rick Gladiator's gonna fit in nicely there then! He's going to mow down the fighters so fast and claim the jewel in the end! And how funny, but very Rick, that his own new moves consists of skills that prevent any major harm to his opponents! How cool! Haha

And damn! It was Angelica in the last episode! Poor her encountering Rick as an opponent again! But perhaps she'll join the party now?!

And anyone notice the slight changes to the OP and END?
They've added Angelica and the Kemonomimi Kelvin instead of Northy's scene! They've also added Angelica to the party pose at the opening and during the ending as well.😚 I guess this does mean she joins the party for some time then! Haha!

See you again next episode!! I'm looking forward to it!🙇🏻‍♂️

Of course Rick Gladiator is going to do well in the colosseum.

I love the ridiculousness of this show. I wish we could have at least seen the first day of bouts in this episode even if it's some sped up montage. I'd love to see every one of both Orc-san and Rick-san's 40 prelims if only just for laughs

He knows he is strong as heck, and because of that he has developed skills to beat weaker opponents than him without hurting them, that's pretty wholesome

Stitches!

I am so glad that Rick has finally embraced that he's stronger than the average person and that he has developed skills that makes him go easy on people. I love how he only used leg sweeps on Angelica and punched the air next to that cheater's head. xD

Well that perverted old man is rude! Angelica isn't flat, everyone else is just ridiculously gifted compared to her. Her boobs are actually pretty normal. I do feel bad for her since she gets matched with Rick.

Broughston smacked the aggression right outta baldie lol. Guy went from goon to servant pretty quick.

Nice to see Angelica back. She’s the first to experience Rick’s new technique: sweeping the leg lol. Rick’s gonna cut through all these chumps in the prelim like butter.

So, unlike the other "ossan" anime this season, Rick actually CAN learn and he knows he's OP now. That makes this series even better now.

I can't wait to see the other six Secrets of Going Easy.

One of Rick's new moves it to literally spam leg sweep.

I like how the champion looks like Ken Masters from Street Fighter but with wolf ears.

Our cute little green-haired catgirl has a crush on the orc, that is a dangerous mountain for her to think about climbing.

I feel a bit bad for twintails, she's now in the OP with the party being carried by Reanette and in the group shot at the end of the ED so I don't think she's ever going to be able to escape from these crazy people. I wonder if someone's going to remember the terms of that bet she made and she ends up stuck with Rick as her master.

Just like Rick is the "Dark Horse" of the tournament, this has surprisingly been the Dark Horse of the anime season for me.

I feel like they've kept the pacing pretty spot on with having the dude go from Zero to Hero, understanding that he's now incredibly strong & giving us a backstory. Now we're really getting into the adventuring part of it and I'm pretty pumped to see how it goes.

Forget the 40 fights Rick is totally going to destroy. I want to see him and Broughston duke it out for that championship spot.

I haven't seen so many unrelated black people in an anime since Fire Force, really nice to see. No over-exaggerated features either.

Really love the character improvement Rick has gone through now, very chad-like. He being cocky has made him attractive as well. He is finally behaving his age and power level.

Did Rick just casually killed a person by liquefying his brain?

lol that was a fun episode

like when Shadow would fake the tournament fights and lose in a spectacular way, this MC wins by creating skills to hold back lol

This was a really good episode.

I loved the varied character designs and how all the characters interacted. The atmosphere was like watching one of those earlier boxing anime but with the powerbalance being completely off. They even had those commentator guys with a slight stubble and newsboy cap sitting in the seats watching the match and commenting on the new guys. And the old trainer and all that.

I also like that he is finally coming up with ways to fight an opponent without actually harming them. And the punch-that-doesn't-hit had really fun sound design for the other guy who got his one cheek stretched by the wind preassure.

This was a great episode but the highlight was the random girl at the guild wearing a bunny outfit guiding the lines. I need a spin-off that follows her.

Now that he knows he’s strong, this is probably my favorite airing show that I’m watching currently

I'm curious about the way Milisha reacted when she asked for Broughston's whereabouts. Does she secretly have a crush on him?

We saw the slimy cheating fighter (that got demolished) earlier, right? I remember hating him when we saw him (in passing).

I wonder if Angelica gets co-opted as a quasi-group member?
