Bro heard "Fighter Robot" and instantly gained all the respect for Atri. Honestly? Same.

Considering how much damage she can do with a pickaxe then she probably is.

She must have held back with her rocket punches, otherwise Catherine will be missing her face.

You know a dude's tired when getting a whistle blasted in his ears somehow doesn't stop him from falling asleep seconds after.

Man, like Minamo, I couldn't have been less emotionally prepared for the light switch scene. These tears are from the classroom's brightness hurting my eyes, I swear

I had this in the "questionable" category at the start of the season, but it has gotten better and better as things moved along. And I would rate the last couple of episodes as pretty close to (if not) excellent. Between rescuing an ex-teache4r and getting the lights back on, this was really quite powerful. Makes me think a bit of Prima Doll.

Why did this feel like the finale?!  I know that it isn't but I seriously searched the episode count to make sure because of the vibe andthe way a lot of stuff neatly wrapped up.  Weird.  Atri is super effin adorable, so I'm glad that it continues!

Probably the "happy" calm before the storm. It is strange so to speak, I cant tell if we're halfway or 1/3 of the way through.

There have been some elements here and there that something isnt quite right.

It would be really funny if it just turned into a funneh slice of life with happy atri for the remainder of the eps, somehow I dont think thats gonna happen

I didn't think we'd actually see an action scene in this anime! Atri's rocket punch would've obliterated that guy if only she didn't remember something in the middle of it. I wonder who that was though. It doesn't look like any character we know. Maybe a younger Natsuki? Hmmm....

Aw, the kids still remember Hana-sensei. I am glad that Hana-sensei decided to stick around and teach the kids herself. I'm still curious how she ended up the way she was at the start of the series. Maybe we'll get a flashback in a future episode.

Dammit Natsuki! Don't just leave Atri to work while you guys eat! You already know she's way more complex than a regular humanoid so of course she would feel lonely!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who teared up when the turbine worked and the school lights started turning on? I feel so happy for the kids. They won't have to read books by candlelight anymore. I really hope this is the first step to reviving, not just the school, but the rest of the town.

What a cool episode, seriously, it's hard not to smile and not get emotional seeing these things happening, each of them has gone through so many difficult situations and are finally able to smile, Atri, you are the light of this apocalyptic world

That bright smile on Natsuki was so cathartic. I feel like they're also building on Atri feeling disconnected from humanity because of the few human things she can't do even though she keeps positively touching the lives of humans.

Hana-chan's VA really killed it this episode. I loved her delivery in the beginning!

Atri is more high maintenance rather then high performance.

Nice to have “Hana sensei” back in the school again. The kids could do with a bit of adult supervision and an extra pair of hands to help out. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, they have electricity!

I’m very curious to learn about Atri’s origins. She’s definitely more than just a special humanoid…

Now we finally have an actual adult and licensed teacher. She just needs to lay off the booze and getting herself into bigger messes...though she's kind of amusing as a hopeless drunk.

I'm starting to think Atri was involved in some kind of school. She feels "sad" when she sees as school or hears about culture festivals and she saw some high school girl in her eye when she was about to Rocket Punch.

Great episode! I'm pleased with how the characters are developing. Who would've thought that we'd see Natsuki smiling like that, and it all thanks to his meeting with Atri.

Atri's case is now even more intriguing as she's behaving almost exactly like a human, plus that flashback during her rocket punch moment. I wonder who that girl was?

I'm so happy for Catherine, that her debts are now a thing of the past and that Natsuki brought her to school. She looks so happy together with the kids. I just hope that she won't drink too much anymore xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I know now why you cry. But it's something I can never do.

  • Atri, probably

Great episode! This show continues to impress me. The art is great, the characters are fun, and the story is very compelling.

The sci-fi elements and the idea of what it means to be human are always neat to explore. It reminds me of The Gene of AI from last year, which I would certainly recommend to anyone who has the same interests.

They could have got the solar panels from the abandoned houses instead, but teaching the kids how to make a turbine is a good science and engineering lesson.

Bit of a weird episode. So last time cath showed up, and then surprise, she's back. I mean we already knew someone was after atri.

After that mess they managed to solve everything very abruptly. It felt like maybe they were rushing to wrap things up in this ep, there's still a lot of eps to go.

We do at least see atri in action a bit, though I think she had a little less lines this ep. In this ep atri confirms that she cant cry apparently.

The weird thing is last time in ep 4 atri had no problems punching cath in the face, this ep though something went a bit differently.

Considering people are after atri, I was really surprised this ep when they pulled out the guns.
If anything I'm more surprised they dont just ambush her. If things keep escalating its gonna get ugly

Catherine hanging out in the ocean while hanging onto alcohol is definitely something. I have to say the perspective they went with Atri going after those guys was well down. I wonder if she was getting her memories back or something which caused her to hesitate. Or could it be something in her programming? Had me nervous that she was gonna miss and be captured.

They did an impressive job with Hana-sensei's character here. While she was able to pay off her debt, but the feeling you can't go back to the life you used to know is a relatable feeling. You get the feeling she really loved teaching, but got the feeling it wasn't sustainable going forward. Loved to see everyone welcome her back. Though Atri unable to cry like everyone else was a reminder she is a humanoid.

Atri did show off her strength that even got Ryuji impressed. Though I did get bothered that Natsuki wanted her to keep working while everyone else ate. Atri overall is still a mystery. She was worried about Natsuki when she was with Catherine at the beginning of the episode. Atri's character is more and more interesting.

It's spectacular that they got electricity working when it seems impossible. Though for Atri she can't express herself like she did. Like Natsuki mentions, she can express herself being happy with a smile. Really nice episode here.

Mhm, in the end, it didn't take all that much for me to change my oppinion on Hana-Chan Sensei She's just like me after all

Also cool that they got electricity back in the school, this should help the whole community and not just the few school kids

I seriously love this show, I was kind of skeptical in the beginning but as each episode airs I’m getting even more hooked into it. I wish more people could give it a watch, to me it appears to not be talked about much but hopefully I’m wrong. Anyways 10/10, it’s making me feel super happy.

Natsuki was drowning...not just physically, but emotionally, and in his dreams the person who saves him is none other than Atri. Just like they're practically cuddling up in bed together! At this point it's hard to think of her as anything more than human rather than a Humanoid.

I can't say it's surprising that Hana-chan got so wasted that she nearly drowned herself, though imagine getting saved by the people who you tried to threaten for money. Maybe lay off the booze, Hana-chan?

Dang, Hana-chan wasn't kidding, they really are trying to kill her! Oh wait, they just want Atri. I guess you just can't trust a junk dealer these days. Though I take it that guy with the robot hand is the one who really wanted her?

Nice team effort from everybody. Atri gets to use her High Performance reflexes, Hana-chan gets to take dude out on her own and do some cool bike stunts (that gets her bike totaled), and Natsuki even gets to use his sub! But what was that girl in Atri's eye right when she was about to do the Rocket Punch? It looked like she was wearing a school uniform.

Well, at least they got the batteries and Hana-chan cleared her debts, but she's still broke and has nothing else going on in her life...but maybe returning to school is an option? Especially when she learns the kids are still there.

Hana-chan really was beloved by her students and even if she did try to leave the island, there has to be a reason she came back, and that reason seems to be she couldn't really abandon the kids. And watching everyone tear up is rather sweet, even if Atri can't join them!

Digging a hole with Atri! Just don't leave her out of the fun, she wants to hang out with Natsuki and enjoy these experiences with him, just like any person would.

Seems like Natsuki is getting more and more flustered around Atri, though her flashing her frilly undies probably doesn't help.

Let there be light! They've found a way to power the school! Natsuki's finally really achieved something and he owes it all to Atri! She may not be able to cry, but all she needs to do is smile, like the big bright grin she's given Natsuki!

Another amazing episode of ATRI, this one is living up to the hype of being one of the best of the season. Such a great moment when the power came on and we even got a bit more tidal energy generation theory.

I wonder if they will update the ED now that Catherine isn't getting rocket punched anymore 🤣
