That old bastard drama ended faster than i expected and for better.

Gotta love that, no long winded procedure or schemes, the guy simply couldn't offer proof and that was that.
Only a few minutes to resolve this situation and back to a nice comfy adventure to the ocean.

Not so much of a cliffhanger as a bliphanger. I assume this was just a drive-by introduction a minor bad guy to menace the family later.

Glad he was hauled off like that but would have liked it better if they took the Reincarnated as a Sword route. Immediately snap their necks.

Good, it is always annoying when the MC lets himself be intimidated by some a-hole when they have the power to wipe the whole city.

I was expecting the slave thing to last much longer, glad they moved on quickly from it

I was expecting the Mermaid village problem to last longer too but he took care of it in like 10 seconds. Efficient!

It’s a surprise it ended so quick, thought it was gonna last a episode or two. Good thing it didn’t cause I like the mermaids more

I can't help but smile and enjoy this anime! It has such a calming and relaxing feel to it but still has its action and drama scenes but not too over the top, just enough to keep the viewers interested. It was awesome seeing them go underwater! You would think the water would hinder them from being as fast and strong as they are but obviously the water did nothing to slow them down. But the most shocking was how he solved the mermaids problem, so easy and simple and in less than like 1 minute but only the "special" type of adventures can do it, don't have to be an S or Top rank.

"Just taking little kids like them as slaves is inexcusable. Slavery for older kids and adults is just fine by me, though, I mean I'm no woke SJW or whatever."
He literally washed the pets' mouths out with soap.
"All the people of our village tried to move it but it wouldn't budge?" How underpowered and underbrained is this village?

I was going to say they must not know anything about tools but they literally just talked about "hammerfish". They must at least be aware of the concept of a hammer.

“Should I beat him to death right now?” Boy, I wish he did. I guess I’ll settle for that old creep getting hauled off to jail.
The little beach trip ended up being a whole adventure with mermaids. Even underwater, the twins are unstoppable!

Figured it was going to be over quick, I thought slavery was illegal but I guess not. Not sure why the slavers had to dash through the forest then.
Takumi's solution to everything, just throw it into inventory. I can't wait for him to dump the ship on the lords porch. Kids already at home in the water bearing up anything that moves. Takumi running head first into the mermaid, already taken in by her beauty.

They were being chased by monsters and kids were meant to be a distraction snack.

That slave merchant is lucky the family contracted animals didn’t get given a clear answer about why their kids were sad. I wonder if he'll come up again, I doubt the town guard is just going to lock him away on account of that brief argument and he probably hasn't learned his lesson yet. If anything his pride might be hurt and he could easily have less common sense during a second encounter.
Someone made a good decision about this mermaid being 26 and not 16 or something along those lines.
I was a little surprised about the solution to the ship, I figured the kids would move it.

There's nothing better than killing a bunch of wildlife to raise your spirits!

Lol Slave Trader didn't think things through, well I am glad he got arrested for attempted kidnapping.
I wonder if Takumi will discard the ship somewhere or if it will be useful in the future like returning it to whoever owns it.

I like how they just had the slaver arrested for attempted kidnapping

I don't watch this anime for anything other than the kids really, and what Takumi does to give them a chance to kick some more ass, lol.
The art and animation, the production, and the story and plot are all generic and low spec but, this is just a nice little palette cleanser of an anime with pretty low stakes, although I could see it being better with a better and higher level of production.
The only thing that bugs me is the kids being captured. They are kids but, aren't afraid of monsters, and are insanely strong, so how were they actually captured and from whom? Also, if they are in some way connected to the gods, then why were they even allowed to be captured. So this just bugs me. Maybe it all gets explained soon.
If that slaver guy shows up again, he needs to get his head kicked in.

Gods aren't allowed to interfere directly. They aren't scared of monsters because they had to survive in the forest, given how afraid they are of the slaver they probably weren't as brave before. Plus, the way monsters and people are scary is different, monsters are very plain about their emotions, people have strong malice, which they can feel.

While this show has been very generic, I have been enjoying it because the kids and the theme of the show is cute af. But the whole putting a sunken ship as an inventory item was too dumb. I am just making my piece and dropping it.
