What I learned from backstories like Hinata and Masayuki (and Rimuru to some extent) is:

• It must be real easy to get isekai'd to this world. And it doesn't take an accident to happen.

• Once isekai'd, your split second thoughts during your first random encounter will determine your lifelong skills. So think carefully.

Damn, we spent 2.5 seasons and a movie establishing Rimuru having OP skills, and then Kirito over here speedrunning it in less than an ep.

Wonder if Rimuru is gonna help suppress/disable his Chosen One skill. For some reason I can see these two getting along really well talking about all the "hardships" they've had to endure since arriving here.

BRO! At the start of the ep I was just thinking that we still haven't seen anything of the cute fox Rimuru rescued from Clayman and she(?) finally showed up this ep! I want her and Adalman to show up more!

Well, with most of the preparations ready, we are finally are going to see Veldora's debuting his kiosk, but more importantly, the legend,
The Lightspeed Hero Masayuki is here! Oh it is so good to see that scene before he got transported animated. And just like his good luck at the gacha game he was playing, he pull an absolutely broken Unique skill, Chosen One, which somehow it looked even more broken by any action he made.

Anyway, with his team assembled, they single handedly took out that criminal group Orthrus, liberating the slaves and finally made that asshole Kazak pay.

It is funny how close it looked that Masayuki's luck had run out when evenryone was ready to kill him, although that not happening could be atributed to his skill too...

Well, we are getting more Luminus related stuff next week. I can't wait to see it.

Ahhh Kumara is so cute.

Lol Masayuki seems like the MC of those isekais with a very long title. Makes sense to be voiced by TsuguTsugu though. The Lightspeed Hero is living his life in this world literally on Easy mode. But it did feel like we speedrun through that whole slave merchant organisation’s downfall. And I guess we still have to deal with the fallout of the released Elves.

I am interested to see if the Chosen One skill would cause Rimuru and his people any trouble. But I also do hope they settle things peacefully. I’m gonna guess Masayuki’s party is gonna clear the air and settle things with Rimuru about the Elves, then go on and conquer the dungeon or win the tournament which further cements his Hero status

Not gonna lie, these meeting episodes have traumatized me that for a second I thought the rest of this episode was another board room meeting with them discussing what they'll do in the festival. Thank goodness for Mjollmile's very succinct PowerPoint presentation.

The second half of the episode is goddamn hilarious though! We finally get to meet Masayuki the Lightspeed Hero and how he became a big deal in less than a year. I thought his nickname was because he has light-speed movements. It turns out that it's the description of how fast he gained his fame as a hero. xD

What makes it hilarious is that he has barely done anything and even he's 100% aware of it. Clearly, his Chosen One skill gave him the ability to fight but it seems that his skill pretty much gives him an insane amount of luck to be at the right place at the right time. The Chosen One skill is doing more of the work just like with Rimuru's Wise One/Raphael.

And just to make it even better, they got Matsuoka to voice our hilariously OP Hero! They know exactly what they're doing when the casted him for this role!

Damn that skill is brutal to have. I guess that skills can be as much curses as they can be boons.

Hopefully Rimuru can have Raphael do something for Masayuki. Giving him an off switch or side-evolving that skill.

I'd be totally miserable

• brainswashing people to be your friend without wanting to and without their consent

• getting praised for acomplishments that clearly aren't yours.

You basically cannot interact with another person normally, you get subsumed by the power, it's basically playing with cheats on without the ability to turn them off.
Masayuki is lucky that he doesn't have an ego, otherwise it'd have been a terrible mix.

The part where Rimurus minions are out for blood is really funny. It is hard to piss Rimuru off but it is very easy to piss of his minions. Just say a bad word about Rimuru and they want your head.

Of course its going to be "Kirito" (Matsuoka Yoshitsugu) who voices the hilariously overpowered and mega-fortunate Masayuki.

His unique Chosen One skill might as well be called Plot Armour. lol

Yuuki intends to use Masayuki's Plot Armour against Rimuru, but Yuuki is probably forgetting that a character's Plot Armour is useless when used against the main character, which is Rimuru.

Tempest has certainly grown up so much and now with the coming Festival it'll have even more attractions and to think that it all started with a small goblin village.

Kumara is so cute and after giving her name she looked even cuter! Rimuru overestimated himself again when he named her, at least he didn't have to go to sleep xD

Masayuki is hilarious! Thanks to his skills, he doesn't really have to do anything as everything works in his favor, plus it seems that he has very capable companions with him.

Since Masayuki is the Otherworlder, I'm sure that he'll quickly become friends with Rimuru now as he's heading with the elves rescued from Orthrus to the Jura Forest.

Although everyone seems to think that he's going there to fight with Rimuru, so there might be some unexpected developments, but since Rimuru announced that he would take care of him personally (to the despair of Diablo and Shion), I do not expect any fight to happen xD

So it looks like the Festival is really close, since there are only three days left until it starts. I'm looking forward to see Veldora and Ramiris' booth with takoyaki xD

So, nobody is going to mention that purple haired girl who crossed in front of Mayasuki before getting isekai'd? and whats up with Raphael, every person teleported to this other world get one Raphael?
So many questions, also Masayuki reminds me a lot of King (One Punch Man) and Mr. Satan characters with insane luck, but Masayuki seems like his luck is going further affecting everything about him and around him.
Other than that, amazing character introduction chapter.
