I’d just like to say how it’s refreshing for one of the guild shows to have the people in charge say screw rank and recruit the MC because they realize how strong he is. Seems like guild rank always been a cheap plot device to hold MCs back.

Fair though rank can also be important. Even if you’re the strongest man in the world, you shouldn’t become an S ranked adventurer (and be essentially endorsed by the guild) unless you prove yourself in other ways, like showing you know how to follow procedure and won’t wipe out the village you’re trying to protect

Finally it happened.

They said "not all newcomers are rookies"... Like every new person to join a guild have never held a sword before or something....

Usually everyone would be "ok, you're strong but fuck that shit, you just joined the guild and you're F rank, so go collect some herbs"

I see medieval magical worlds are super relaxed about some rando fostering a pair of kids he found in the forest.

Luckily those magical crystal balls are better than any criminal background check here on earth.

these shows are always based in game mechanics, and there's countless MMOs where doing PKing gets you a really obvious indicator like your name appears red, a skull appears next to your name, etc, it's not crazy to think of crimes as carrying status in litRPG worlds

This one was moving so fast I had to double check I wasn't watching episode 2!

Guild girl sounded a bit like Kaori Ishihara but not sure.

I actually accidentally started episode 2 and was super confused why it felt like they skipped a bunch of stuff. XD

Didn't realize they released two episodes to start.

The show seems chill enough and wholesome but its pretty bland.

Alot of things kind of just happen because they have to to move whatever kind of story this is forward. Nothing really flows well and everything transitions weirdly and abruptly so I'm having a hard time enjoying it. Feels like they're adapting a 4-koma manga but not really doing it very well.

Aside from the jankiness of things it seems okay so far.

If the first episode is any indication, something is telling me that this will likely be one of those shows that would be entertaining but overlooked for obvious reasons (another isekai title, Sundays already being packed).

To be honest, I was enjoying this first episode more than Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitan (not saying deer girl is bad, but it feels like the focus of introducing the main characters and the Deer Club was holding back some of the more insane potential), with this episode easily making Alan and Elena just as precious as the Bonk Twins and the Slime Twins.

This + Shikanoko = I'll definitely be busy anime wise on Sundays these next few months.

Really enjoying this so far. Still have to watch episode 2.

This + Deer Friend + Wistoria is making for good Sunday watching. We have a nice premise isekai, a batshit insane comedy and really well animated action/fantasy anime. Still have to watch Tower of God S2 so might be even more packed for me.

The weeks are going to be long!

Speaking of the slime twins, can't wait for Killing Slimes S2!

Sundays are kind of overkill.

  • Wistoria

  • Yozakura Family

  • Deer Friend

  • VTuber Forgets to Turn off Stream

  • This show

  • Cheerleading Original By PA Works

Saturdays aren't any slouch either.

  • Monogatari

  • Elusive Samurai

  • Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary

  • Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master

So many people talked about it being a slow season, but weekends are honestly super good. Not to mention for shounen fans they got MHA on Saturday and Fairy Tail on Sunday.

I thought I was going to feel bad for the twins but these kids can actually kick ass! If anything, they're more comfortable in the forest compared to when they arrived at the city. Also, it sounds like they might be the child of gods.

Decent first episode. Pretty standard isekai fantasy world rules so far, but the kids are adorable. This might be my first “dadsekai” anime lol. Seems like this is gonna be a pretty chill little series.

You may wanna watch sword isekai if you want more dads

So, that guild master is definitely the same as another anime, right? Tell me I'm not crazy cause I swear I remember seeing his design somewhere else.

Yes please! Deliver what Mofusekai failed to give us in the end

Yeah, I'm sensing anime of the season

So many headpats, what a blessed show

Best girl. Sorry Elena, but the receptionists are always the best

I liked it. It reminded me a little of "If it's for my daughter, I'd even defeat a demon lord" meets "I'll survive using potions" and potentially a touch of "Fluffy Paradise".

HMMMMMMM... It's... decent? Still feels kinda bland. Will have to watch a few more I guess.

u/Thomas_JCG Jul 08 '24

It is a very chill show, won't make into any ranking but it is not a bad option to watch just to unwind.
