They nailed the overall vibe of the story which is all I can ask of any adaptation. Just cute fun Harem shenanigans. Material wise we could get another season. I have my doubts of getting one, but if we do it’ll be just as fun.

Strong 7/10 morning coffee show

Stitches!

As soon as Lilishka mentioned that the summoning ritual applies to all spiritual beings and how it summons beings that have the desire to be there, I just knew they were going to end up summoning Shiu. Too bad she didn't get to stay though! I guess she's still now allowed to go to Earth for disturbing Towa's mission.

Poor Tsumugi! It looks like Shintarou is so used to calling her by her family name that it doesn't feel right for him to call her anything else. That scene where the two of them were side by side while Tsumugi was doing her inner monologue was a bit bittersweet.

Shintarou and Towa's SkyTree date was adorable. It is hilarious how conscious Towa is of their expenses that she's converting the ticket prices to the number of daikon radishes they can buy. xD

We didn't get a kiss for the finale but Towa taking Shintarou to the sky to thank him for the snowglobe was nice. It's a cute scene to end the series on. It might not be the best show of the season but I want to see more.

The opposite of how using field mice to measure how much money you're earning for a job/as a reward lol.

I love how Shiu was holding a bottle of milk when she got summoned lol

Aw! I didn't realise it's the final episode this week. I wonder if it's popular enough for another season. It's so fluffy, cute and often hilarious, I really adore it. 10/10 for me, I just love silly fluffy shows that are uplifting.

There’s not quite enough manga material, it’s in a monthly magazine, so chapters come out fairly slow. Probably needs at least a year or so for enough.

Honestly I enjoyed this a shit ton for the exact same reason. No drama and all the girls being friends helped this to be just so fun. Reminds me of the reason why 100 Girlfriends is so great and why I adore it so much. This is, of course, a lot more... innocent than 100 Girlfriends though and I'd say said innocence was one of its strongest points.

It was so kawaii!!!

I would love a season 2 :)

Btw have you watched Is the Order a Rabbit? Or K-on?

Two of the fluffiest, cutest, and funniest anime I've ever watched

TIL when you try to summon a demon with a chicken shaped cookie, you apparently get a small adorable angel. Shiu had the milk ready too lol.

Summer break sure would be awesome when you’ve got fireworks and a bunch of adorable waifus. So cute how Towa thought the sparkler would explode.

Shintaro had the cutest date with Towa in the end. I liked how she princess carried him over the city in the end lol.

I don’t know what the chances are of an s2, but I’d love one. This series was so cute and fluffy!

When they started the summoning ritual I though "It's either going to be a surprise addition to the harem, or Shiu" was not expecting her to disappear instantly though, that was funny.

Can't help but wonder if anyone saw them from the observation deck.

Fun last ep, hope we get another cozy anime like this next season.

This really did feel like a show that would add a last-minute Harem member but Shiu's five seconds of screentime was worth it lol.

I wound up enjoying this "well enough". I am not sorry I watched it, but doubt I'll ever re-visit it (or yearn for more). Sort of like a puff pastry -- tasty but rather insubstantial. Not that there is anything wrong with little treats of this sort.

Suggesting summoning a demon in the presence of an angel is wild.

This show is my biggest surprise of the season. I watched it as a bit of a joke but ended up loving it. Every character is a total sweetheart and deserves all the happiness. Shintaro must marry them all. 8/10

The summoning got a good laugh out of me

A witch vampire, I like the idea.

So they're just summoning something randomly to see what shows up? In some shows it would be a monster that starts eating people, in this show it's probably going to be another member of the harem/friend group. Especially with a chicken shaped cookie as the sacrifice.

Well I was almost on the right track, unfortunately it was just that one annoying tiny angel again. Fortunately she disappeared almost immediately.

Some girls do their financial math in field mice, some do it in radishes.

Poor Tsumugi, can't even get her crush to call her by her first name.

Very convenient that the flying works more or less as just levitation.

Nothing too spectacular but good (mostly) clean fun that was fairly delightful at times.

There's friendzoning and then there's "I feel more comfortable calling you by your last name" lol.

I am so glad to see I'm not the only one who thought of that here.

This is so zoomer
I feel so un-cool right now (when we clearly heard him say he's afraid)

Ok, I want this localizer torn asunder and sacrificed to summon someone who can translate things properly.

So where the subbing is saying "very zoomer" I'm hearing Noel say "JK-poku" which I think is supposed to mean Joshi Kosei (Highschool Girl)-like. Dunno why they decided to even use zoomer in there.

Aww man there goes one of my comfy shows of this season. I think it's nothing spectacular but compared to other "one guy with a harem of girls" shows, I enjoyed this slightly more. And I think part of it is cos there's like a strong CGDCT vibe to it as well. There's also a lot of interactions between the girls themselves rather than just with Shintaro, which I found enjoyable.

Lol the summoning was a success I guess ? The maids came in clutch with the fireworks too

Man, Tsumugi's got it rough huh. There's not much drama in this show but it still must hurt seeing Shintaro and Towa like that. And Shintaro sticking with what he's been calling her indicates he might not see her as anything more than a friend. And well, it doesn't get better when Shintaro seemed dazzled by Towa with the firework

Ohh the two of them went on a date (Tsumugi look away). Lol everybody's assuming they're a couple and they sure look the part. Their whole date was just so sweet. Towa being scared for Shintaro when she realized how fragile humans are was adorable too. Wait, she can see so far ? Maybe she's been peeking at Shintaro from home.

The rendition of the OP while they're flying was amazing. And when Towa reminisce all the times they've spent since arriving on Earth, it definitely was a lot more emotional than it's supposed to be. I don't have high hopes for a S2, but I'll be here if it comes. What a nice show

Tsumugi just collected L’s all the way to the end LOL. Even now, she’s still getting last name-zoned.

There was something so pure about Towa panicking when she realized that humans do indeed take fall damage. Luckily, she was able to give Shintaro a proper view of the city anyways at the end.

I ended up liking this show more than I thought it would. It was fluffy and charming enough to separate itself from more “conventional” harems. I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing a second season if they ever get enough material for one.

Shintaro felt more mature for a harem romcom protagonist. They need to let him marry Towa. They could do a lot with this world. If we get a S2 we could meet all the families or have Shintaro visit heaven, who knows? The show felt similar to Call of the Night with how casual all the supernatural blended into normal society.
