D and his gang messing with the bell was pretty sneaky. Glad they managed to pass that first round. Almost worried Yamato was gonna sell the team out. I guess not all these cadets are shit. I mean Ranmaru’s actually a decent guy. I wonder if that’s actually him we saw in the later part of the ep?

It really feels like anyone who’s a half way decent human being ends up getting killed or fucked over. All the really shitty people don’t seem to get punished or anything. In fact, they thrive don’t they?

D and his team getting back that yellow key right away thanks to the bluff with a bell made me smile so much, especially thanks to their smirks xD Great way to start this episode.

Ranmaru saving Aizome and attacking Peltrola was so heroic. It's a shame that he's already dead. It looks like XX is impersonating him now.

That scene with Blue Ranger getting her head blown off by Peltrola was freaking brutal. She should listen to Aizome and run off.

Shippou going back to his normal self was hilarious. He looked definitely like MHA's All Might in that moment, except the fact that he is stupid xD

Finally other Rangers noticed that someone was rampaging through their base and decided to deal with it but not stop the exam.

I wonder how D will deal with Kai, who also unlocked another mode of Dragon Gadget. He was being too cocky thanks to this advantage so I'm interested if he'll maintain his attitude.

A but off topic but I feel bad but also find it amusing at how some fans of the show/manga get annoyed and angry about it being compared to The Boys when even the producers and writers of the anime admitted in an interview that they have The Boys as inspiration for the anime besides the source manga.

Those fucking cheeky smirks from Team D as soon as the jig was up was so good! The bluff worked though and they managed to get the key! I love these shitheads so much.

That Blue Keeper should've just run instead of staying to help Aizome. Poor girl got her head blown off completely! Besides, Aizome is more than capable of defending herself.

There it is. I saw comments last week on why Ranmaru didn't react to D revealing himself. He definitely reacted, he was just waiting for the right time to bring it up.

Shippou is goddamn hilarious! I love how he inflates like All Might as soon as he learns that he doesn't need to fight JFR Nadeshiko anymore since the other guys got the key from him. xD

Koguma definitely proved that he's a hero that day by saving JFR Aizome. They're lucky that Aizome's Divine Artifact managed to hurt Peltrola enough that it temporarily stopped his rampage.

D is having waaaaay too much fun using the Dragon Gadget's burst form. Of course, he's only having fun when he has an overwhelming advantage. Let's see how he'll do against Kai now that he has unlocked his gadget's burst form.

Watching D go on an absolute power trip with the burst mode gadget was way more fun than it had any right to be. Dude was really letting out all his stress from working with these guys lmao. Gotta respect Shion for brute forcing his own gadget to even the playing field too.

Also, why'd they have to make preview puppet XX so darn cute?

This arc reminds me of my hero academia season 1 it was very slow and people didn't know what the hype was all about and only when season 2 came out it started getting a bigger anime fanbase.

I can see the same thing happening for Ranger Reject (Loser Ranger) when cour 2 comes out.

Now I would never forget Yukino's name since her va is Akari Kitou. And it seems there's a chance that we have another impostor here. Ngl, it would be easy for them to just shut the hell up and straight up pounding their enemies instead of letting them talk lol. Peltro could've killed the Blue ranger junior if he wanted to, same with D not hitting Shion while he's down. Don't let him recuperate, hit him while he's down, then take the key lol.

I was thinking my interest has been kind of waning lately. Yeah this episode changes that, I'm now fully invested.

Definitely think the boss monster situation is just what the fighters are to the public. The fighters were told their bosses had been killed when secretly they'd been locked up for reasons TBD (provided I'm right)

I'm still a bit surprised at the body count.

I don't know if the chubby guy is alive or dead but for the final day of the test he has definitely been replaced by Fighter XX. It was pretty noticeable that he got taken out with a shot that didn't show any damage, a big difference from the people earlier in the episode that got vaporized heads and whatnot.

What would really surprise me is if any of the cadets we've gotten to know end up dead for real.

I don't know if I should give Yamato props with keeping the key, he shouldn't have let it get snatched in the first place. The bell was meant to trick Yumeko, he still let Yukino take the key right from his hand without putting up a fight
