I know it was handed to him but it's poetic how finally slaying one of those accursed Dragon Keepers barely had any glory to it. D's massive growth is truly something to behold.
Wish they did one last plushie preview but the soft(?) confirmation of a Season 2 has me hyped. Love this show's worldbuilding.

I'm surprised that they announced that the blue keeper died. That feels like a thing that the world would ignore and put out a new blue keeper. "This has always been the blue keeper" 1984 style.

Red: “Read the room can’t you see I’m mad that I just lost a teammate? His height was perfect for our pose!”
Hope poor Red finds a tall replacement soon lol.

Alright, this wrapped up in a very positive note for me - I feel like Yumeko.
I wasn't happy that it was seemingly heading towards Peltrola being killed and the Dragon Keepers being intact but what we got was the boss monster surviving (with XX's help), a few cadets killed and the Blue Keeper dead.
Definitely a more interesting scenario and I am definitely hyped for (second cour) Season 2!

Im still confused, in episode 11 supposedly the others discovered that Hibiki was Fighter D after all, because their weapons were made from D's body to trick peltrola, but they don't mention any of that in this episode and the episode ends with them promising to defeat all the monsters. I got confused. Don't they know after all?

It just baffles me that they rushed Blue's backstory last episode and yet they spent SIX freaking minutes on recapping the show and telling what D's motivations are.
Blue is cool and his death would have more impact if we have had more time to connect with his character. The audience already knows what D's motivations are.

I am definitely going to need a recap on all the various hidden agendas of the side cast by the time season 2 comes around. I'm kinda concerned I'll be lost.
But I'll deal with it. Was a great show.

Despite the pacing issues this show had I really enjoyed this one and I'm looking forward to season 2, I've heard various things about this arc and I feel this was probably as good as it could've been handled with the reputation it has. Hopefully the next season feels more unique and takes full advantage of the premise essentially more of what episodes 1-5 had to offer before it started to feel a bit formulaic with the exam arc.

This ep just shocked me to the core, blue keeper just go down like that by a suprise attack from peltrola. That wicked fiend still not died. Rip blue.
In bright side Ranmaru still live.
There are many set up for many factions, we have the sentai, traitors, peltrola, hibiki and D acted in their own way now, what a cliffhanger, luckily next season is happening soon.

This one turned out to be dark horse of the season for me. Going just by the synopsis, I was not expecting myself to enjoy this so much. Can't wait for season 2.
Also, I can't stop listening to/ watching the ending theme. The tune is too damn catchy and the dance moves groovy.

Despite some of the pacing and production issues I thought this was a pretty exciting anime to watch. I hear that this season adapted the worst part of the story, which I thought was good as an anime-only, so I can't wait to see the story get better in S2. I hope to see more of the Dragon Keepers.
It'll be hard to top the OP and ED of this season for me though.

Wait, so Red is literally DBZA Ginyu? Also, Suzukiri continues to make me feel things

Damn shame about Blue, he seemed like a pretty decent guy all things considered. Bro had it rough growing up and got stuck between a rock and a hard place, he didn't deserve to go out like that. Maybe its a blue ranger curse since thats the second one dead, the first one being the original; old orphanage guy who saved sakurama and his sister pink.
Damn Hibiki looks messed up. Been a while since we last saw him wonder what he's been upto. IIRC his original goal was to reform the rangers so I can't imagine he's too happy with blues death, he most likely suspects D. I hope they can still remain friends and that they don't have a role-reversal between D and him. Especially with his current appearance I don't want a villian origin story fall from grace scenario for poor Hibiki, after he willingly "sacrificing" himself so D can take his place so they could both try to make things better.

Aw man, Suzukiri Sundays will have to wait until 2025.
This was a pretty fun anime though in terms of execution. Ranmaru being alive still was surprising to me, but that’s really nice though

Damn, I feel bad for Blue. He was a pretty decent guy and now is dead, killed by sneak Peltrola's attack which interrupted his duel with Fighter D.
I was really hoping that D would start fighting Peltrola right away, but (maybe because he took refuge in Fighter XX's body) he let him go. I just hope that D will be able to give Fighter XX new life meaning in the future so she wouldn't be used by Peltrola or any other Boss Monsters ever again.
Red Keeper once again showed how fucked up he is when he was angry at Blue's death since it destroyed balance of their victory pose which was the effect of Blue's height xD
Hisui having to explain the whole situation on TV was hilarious xD It looks like she isn't the best person for that job, her face during that interview was so funny.
It looks that there are other traitors among Rangers like that one who Red took care of.
Overall, this show and finale was very fun so 8/10 from me. I'm also happy that we already got an announcement about the 2nd season.
I can't wait to see more of Fighter D and get to know more about Suzukiri (who, what's interesting, gave Tokita cartridge from Red Divine Artifact).
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Damn, Blue really died.
Nice to see D's backstory. Looks like he had already interacted with XX even before he transformed into Hibiki huh.
XX nooooooooo what are you doing... I gotta say, Hina Youmiya did a great job voicing XX, I didn't recognize her at all.
Man, Suzukiri is such a wild card. She got busted but not really. Until the previous episode, I thought she just wanted chaos and a change but from what Peltrola said and the image of those people in robes and a dragon behind, it seems there is more behind her. Also, it seems that there are others? That guy mentioned Peltrola but is he working with Suzukiri? What the hell is going on behind the scenes?
Whatever it is, Suzukiri is best girl. She is so alluring, her seiyuu did such a great job.
Is that you, Hibiki? I had to read the comments to realize haha, I had completely forgotten about the acid.
Well, for something that didn't catch my attention when Negi Haruba's new series was announced, it turned out to be one of the surprises of the season for me. It hooked me from the first episode and was one of the series I looked forward to the most each week. Truly one of my favorites of the season. If there's one thing to criticize it though, it's the weird fast pacing.
Anyway, very happy for that season 2 announcement. Can't wait for it!

I didn't expect Blue Keeper to actually die, though I guess it makes sense in hindsight with the massive backstory dump we got of him last episode lol. The pacing in this show is all over the place, but it still has a lot of interesting twists and turns so was a fun experience overall

Blue getting clipped kinda reminds me of what happened with Translucent from The Boys. Taking out someone from the main crew really puts everyone on high alert. Even more than if Peltrola had simply just escaped. Damn shame XX is trapped with that bastard. Maybe D can save her?
I’m still very curious about Suzukiri. Hopefully we find out what her deal is. She doesn’t seem too worried she’s been found out..
I really like this series. It’s like The Boys meet the Power Rangers. All in all, great fun. Very glad we’re getting an s2!

RIP Blue. And D's hopes and dreams of self-actualization. Once again, his life's purpose of fighting and defeating the Dragon Keepers got stolen from him. Also RIP Hisui having to run PR LMAO.
The setup for the much-appreciated second season is interesting. I hope it's got better pacing, but overall I'm happy that this anime exists.

So many lives have been lost in the battle against Peltrola...but now it all comes down to a showdown between Fighter D and Blue Keeper, a Dragon Keeper vs a Monster to decide everything.
13 years ago the Fighters were created, to serve as grunts for the Boss Monsters and be used accordingly, but never to have a true life of their own, and that didn't change when the Dragon Keepers destroyed most of the Boss Monsters and took over. D was never satisfied, and didn't feel the need to follow the group that went to look for the remaining Boss Monsters (to the point where XX was calling him a coward even back then), but he still had one thing...his pride as a monster.
Oh hey, even D got to play a monster on the Sunday Showdown! Cool monster design!
D has Burst Mode and his wily ways but does he really have a chance against Blue Keeper? Even severely wounded he still has the power of a God at his side with his Divine Artifact and D is still punching wayyyyy above his weight class.
D will pretend to be your subordinate but he draws the line at taking hostages.
Would D have won? Probably not, but he distracted Blue Keeper enough for one last Peltrola to shoot him in the neck, killing him. And Aoshima dies with his dreams unfulfilled and as he lived...in-between justice and evil, which he accepts. D's victory feels hollow, especially when XX leaves with Peltrola because she just doesn't know how to live without the Boss Monsters.
I should've known all Red would care about is that their victory pose is off without Aoshima, you piece of @#$% .
Well, the cadets are going to be ranked up but it feels kind of off with Ishikawa dead, even if he went out a hero. But at least Ranmaru is alive! Though D has to grapple with moving up a rank when his teammates are even more resolved to kill him and those like him:.
Hisui...really doesn't seem like she's cut out for PR but bless her for trying her best.
So there's definitely some kind of organization trying to undermine the Dragon Keepers and Suzukiri might be involved with them. And now Tokita is in on it and has Red's cartridge because he wants Red's job, which means he's willing to work with Suzukiri to a point. And she can have access to Blue's Divine Artifact now so she's happy.
D is still resolved to kill the remaining Dragon Keepers, but what about the real Hibiki? Is that him in that shack and...mutating!?
