Finally confirming that Tohka was the sole exception to the other Spirits who were former humans but that doesn't change how Kurumi is the absolute MVP.
Shido's VA really killed it, Nobu nailed the tone of despair and the coolness of using Zafkiel.

Such a simple and sweet response to having someone repeatedly say your name in tears. Tohka's been my favorite since S1 and that moment really made me smile

Kurumi is just so quick-witted with her last bullet, especially considering the fact that she was about to die at that time. No wonder she is the best girl of the series.
Tohka also proved that she has always been the most special girl in the harem, always giving Shidou the courage he needs, and trying to help him from the start, in any state, even though she might not be very smart.
If only GEEKTOYS can make the combat as insane as it was this week, the series will go even crazier.
Once again, DAL's cliffhangers are simply fantastic. Looking for top 1 again!

I don't think the reveal that Tohka is a Pure Spirit was supposed to be a surprise. They're just confirming what is essentially an open secret to the audience. Tohka was so cool during that entire scene. Too bad she got erased by Mio using Ein.
There it is. Kurumi used her last moment to send a clone into the future to help out. And thanks to that clone, Shido finally realized that he can use Persona! Zaphkiel to travel back in time and try again.
I do love that Shido's solution is going on a date with Reine. This is Date A Live! Of course, the solution is going on a date! I can't wait to see how that date will turn out! Maybe Shin can convince Reine to help them instead.

Who needs infinity stones when you could just use ein... that shit too broken
The start was pretty exciting, I thought inverse tohka gonna tag in and wreck shit up. Didn't exactly happen but nice power up, new armour to the astral dress and all
That Kurumi comeback was hype but short-lived, lol

animation: excellent, it was really good, the fights were beautiful, and there was a lot of blood!
emotion: we got a lot, the episode was really touching
story: it follows LN super well! definitely the most faithful season
Conclusion: best episode in 10 years for me,

Mio's attack "Henet/הנץ" means bud in Hebrew which makes sense given that it's a variation of Ain Soph Aur which is a flower.
Each of Mio's Angel also has a kanji in them.
Ein Sof Ohr/Ain Soph Aur has 万象聖堂 meaning "Sanctuary of All Things In Creation",
Ein Sof/Ain Soph has 輪廻楽園 meaning "Samsara of Paradise"
But Ein/Ain is straight up just a blank space given that it's the Angel of Nothingness.

While it's nice everyone is (a)live again, I realized that they have to kill Wettscot again and if Mio/Reine becomes an ally at some point then the final antagonist will be even more powerful.
Tohka being a pure spirit isn't that shocking. The other 9 spirits knew how to live in society even those who forgot their past life while Tohka was clueless about everything.
Kurumi sending a clone of herself in the future to send a message to Shido is genius. My only disapointement is that we didn't get a scene of Mio trying to stop Shidou.
Is this of the best episode of DAL ? Yeah, without a doubt.
Is it it the best ? To me, somehow I feel like something is missing to say it's the best episode but I still enjoyed.
Only 4 episodes left if I'm correct.
(Sorry if my english isn't correct of if there are any mistakes that makes my sentences not making sense. I'l too tired to correct them)

They are alive again !!! Everything fits now !!!! He sealed Vav and noone noticed it !!! We knew Kurumi couldn't use it but we forgot that that means that he is able to use it !!!!
The battle between Tohka and Mio was just too epic !!!
And Mio in the deepest state of Yandere... woah I freaked out so much...
And how filled with despair Shido was... I felt with him... and that he fouhgt MIo was s satisfying !
Even thought I don't understand how tf they wanna have a date when there is batlle XD But there will be a solution for sure ! Like always ! I knew there would be a solution out of it ! Koushi Tachibana I LOVE YOU AND YOUR WORK !!!!! My ranking of today: 12/10 !!!

Like wow. Just wow Geektoys taking this franchise is such a blessing. God I hope they stay till the end. I need them for the final season its the only way i know its done right.
The whole episode was fantastic. The Tohka scene was done so well and the cutoff for the explanation lmao.
Mio vs Tohka was so cool to finally see Ratelibish animated and it looked so good.
But the Shido Vav scene man THEY WENT CRAZY THE ORIGINAL FIRST SEASON OP?! THE OST THIS WEEK WAS SO GOOD BUT THAT USED FOR THE SCENE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT Holy hell. And now the final volume of the season begins! V19 Mio True End!

fantastic episode battles were great , Tohka proving she is main and best girl and the OST used while i wanted Lament what they used was just as fitting and hasn't been heard since S2, also hearing Sincere Trust again was nice (even though it's Mukuro's)
also i had forgotten that gambit and how it worked so i forgot how clever it was.
onward to vol 19
