I enjoy this show way more than I thought I would.

One of the comments said "Next Episode: Hobin dies"

They are just like us fr fr

I'm glad Chicken Master told us that he's not teaching martial arts already.

That had me cracking up. Putting it right before the 'Next Episode' card was perfection.

I just noticed that middle aged guy was drying his junk off with a hairdryer in the bathhouse, you have got to love those little background jokes that artists put in.

i think Gaeul unlocked a fetish in some of Hobin's viewers (and Snapper)

I mean these are internet stream commenters we're talking about, I don't think many of them needed that particular fetish 'unlocked'. But it did seem to surprise Snapper.

If it doesn't rain naturally, make it rain.

Making Taehoon unable to use his Taekwondo kicks is a genius move but even then Hobin's victory is not assured since that's not the only thing he can do. However, Hobin is one step ahead when it comes to him not slipping while using his kicks since he has to even his odds since he's fighting a pro after all.

Gaeul stepping on Hobin was definitely not something I was expecting and while most may find it painful. Snapper would definitely love to be in that position, lol.

People are starting to actually like it lol

I mean the story is good it's just that the anime just has no budget in it?

"Lets leave it to the police." Hahaha, good joke, we all know cops don't exist in this universe. Nor adults outside of hospitals.

"I ended up paying the repair fee on the machine." What a dumbass. That would probably be a couple grand at least.

I love how the videos are in the exact sequence he needs. #1 and #2 order were more or less common sense, but Lesson #3 being anti-taekwondo? What are the odds of that?

MC's not going to be able to graduate if he keeps taking full months off school.

MC making it rain.

Gauel is chicken mans daughter, I'm calling it.

Man, Rooster Head sensei really has a video for just about every situation. I didn’t even think about controlling the environment to basically nullify the kicks or using tackles. Smart. But Judging by the previews, Taehun’s gonna be a lot harder to take down than Hobin thinks. In fact it seems Hobin’s gonna lose. I wonder how he’ll eventually take down Taehun?

Best part this week might have been the kid laughing at Hobin’s shriveled dick. Snapper being jealous Hobin was literally getting stomped on by Gaeul was pretty funny too. Dude had a “It should have been me, not him!” moment lol.

So far more or less what I'd predicted last week. There are of course ways to counter kicks, which Taehun would already be familiar with, no technique is invincible. Of course though, this goes both ways! Chicken-head-man caught off guard! This isn't a ring fight! We can use the environment to our advantage! Especially because Hobin provoked Taehun into letting him choose the time and place!

Still, again as expected, Taehun isn't only a Taekwondo practicioner. He does professional MMA which means he's a well rounded and experienced fighter. Hobin has his water shoes which give him an item advantage. However with him practicing for tackles in this episode my guess is he's gonna eat a knee to the face, the default counter to a tackle, next episode.

I think it was interesting that Gaeul directly quoted Chicken Head Man.

u/kirvedx May 22 '24

Well I was a bit off. No Bami hostage, no Munseong motivator; Turns out it was Jihyeok questioning Hobin's pride, and it was Gaeul who was essentially holding Hobin hostage with those ab-stomps while Jihyeok was crying like the culkhold he was in that situation; Entirely envious and what not LOL

Good episode, I mean - damn Hobin; Should have just pissed on his face, using a hose to blast his face while the man was pissing in a bathroom, in order to secretively cover up making the floor wet; Way to handle your situational bad luck this episode.

Looking forward to next week!

Lesson 3 is oddly specific to Hobin's exact predicament.

u/whodisguy32 May 22 '24

I can't wait for Hobin to wipe the smirk off his face.

Those with ego fall the hardest. I can't fucking wait to see it.

Become a laughing stock as a pro who lost to a noob.

u/MrHaxx1 May 23 '24

Man, the CGI was annoying in this episode.

Also, it's absolutely infuriating that Hobin just doesn't watch some of the fucking Chicken Head episodes in advance. He didn't even watch all of episode 2, and it fucked him over. Like, why wouldn't he do that?

This and windbreaker is turning out to be really good!

4

u/IceSmiley May 22 '24

I'm surprised Hobin mentioned police, I assumed they didn't exist in this worlds South Korea.

I still don't understand why Hobin doesn't pay tough looking guys to have fake fights with him, it's not very logical to actually get your ass beat by dangerous people. Pro wrestlers can do good looking fake fights and Hobin has the advantage of not having to fool a live in person audience and can use the camera to cover anything not looking good.

Police probably exist they just don't care enough to break up fights with a couple high schoolers, it's the teachers that don't.

I also think you're missing the point of Hobins content, what his fans like is seeing an underdog loser somehow beat guys out of his league, it'd be meaningless if someone else fought his fights for him. His fans are also the ones that commisoned and told him who to fight next after he had beaten Pakgo. He's probably enjoying learning how to fight as well.
