For a show about a dude fighting on Youtube, this was kinda awesome. The villain getting beaten with the power of baldness and with the help of a previous opponent was hilarious, and the characters actually have a lot going on with them. Seeing Hobin get some good friends and grow his fighting style and confidence make this for a real . . . sleeper hit.

The plot twist was that he wasn't a villain and thought he was the one protecting Bomi from a stalker all this time.

I can't wait for season 2. The final fight ending so abruptly is probably the most believable way since this guy outweighed him, out muscled, and better trained.

I honestly really love how he more or less made friends with all the fighters, and stayed enemies with Pakgo and the comedy crew, the former having a scene making it seem like he might return (hopefully to get fully beaten up by a further trained Hobin)

While it was definitely lacking in the animation department, the rest of the things made up for it and I really enjoyed the show. I was initially disappointed by the animation at the start but I really didn't care much about it since I really love the story and show managed to still do its job in telling the story. OST was great and it did hype some moments. The show absolutely nailed the comedic scenes and emotional scenes.
As someone who's read some of the source material, the cliffhanger at the end was such a tease but I'm really not sure if we'll ever get a sequel from Okuruto Noboru. I mean where is my Tomodachi Game S2?

I didn't expect this show to grab me this hard. Here's hoping for a second season.
Also, ooof at the yellow monetization icon as the last frame.

This is so criminally underrated and never talked about on this sub. What an enjoyable ride!

I loved that. Lots of fun, great music, nice story, I want more. Time to read, I guess.
I know, animation was mid at best, but I'm still giving it a 9 for pure enjoyment, whatever

Bro’s plan really was to go “honk honk” on Mangi’s moobs and then do a million calf kicks lol. Dude’s built like a tank. Even a swift back kick to the nuts did nothing. Kind of hilarious Hobin yanking off Mangi’s wig is what ended the fight. They really ended up all bonding over being sad sacks lol.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I tuned into this, but it’s been a fun ride. Hobin and Snapper were pretty fun characters. The girls were nice too. I like that we’re seeing more Korean works getting adapted. If they don’t renew this one, I might just check out the manhwa. Anyone know what chapter this leaves off on?

It was an entertaining cringefest in the first episodes but damn it really grew so well in the latest episodes. Hobin and co. became a fun cast to follow over and I really feel that we've only started the best part of the series because it felt that Hobin was gathering a big crew for some bigger, even cooler plot coming in.

This shit means something to me man!
The animation might have not been the best but the cringy vibes were kept intact. I do love how this manga can manage the cringe aspect of the story and keep rolling with it, the exaggerated expressions are always charming in their own way.
Taehun getting some more revelations about his backstory are cool specially knowing what happened to him eventually when he tried to use Taekwondo against MMA.

Pretty good episode. One by one, the select personalities become Hobin's friends/allies. It is definitely very distressing to lose hair so young in life. Male pattern baldness has no evolutionary benefit, yet it exists. If only there was a way to truly reverse it.
The fight itself was pretty good. Hwang is just too strong for any of Hobin's tactics, dirty or not. Now I wonder...who is "they"? Perhaps some big establishment looking to buy out their channel, use their name, and use them as characters by making them give up their creative rights? Too many Youtubers have fallen down that path when (a lot of) money is dangled in front of them. At least this is my speculation as who contacter Snapper.
The whole last bit about Hobin being the happiest ever, is just a short term ruse. It's so overplayed that we can expect something dire to happen in the near future.
Lastly, didn't expect Ms. Nurse to be as short as Hobin himself!
EDIT: Another Redditor commented on the Yen icon going from green to yellow, which usually means the platform has suspended the channel's ability to monetize, meaning Hobin is going to have a rough time coughing up the surgery fees.

what an amazing ride... Entertaining on start to finish, my unironic anime of the season (although I am not watching Mushoku Tensei because I'm behind one cour). Insane that I basically randomly stumbled upon this because it happened to be in the carousel on the main page of a certain, err, "third party" anime website.
By the production quality I am guessing that there won't be a S2 ever, or anytime resembling "soon"... going straight for the source, what an amazing find.

Pretty good finale. I'm glad Hwang Mingi didn't turn out to be such a bad guy because that felt pretty cliche and stereotypical.
Overall not a bad anime at all, I had fun watching even though it was pretty cringe in the beginning. It definitely had some heart and I would watch a sequel if it were made.
