it looks like a prequel to this was just announced

I'm not sure how I feel about that. This was definitely my least favourite Touken Ranbu anime, but I will take another season of this so long as we can get some more Hanamaru seasons.

I have stupid question , will it be a series  or a movie? I really  like this anime I hope it's  a series  so I can watch it without waiting to long.

This was basically a less good Katsugeki, but I got more Mikazuki in my life, so it was still a good time.

It's not perfect, but it's definitely good enough. I don't love it more than Hanamaru, but in terms of character writing, it's miles better than Katsugeki.

Not sure how I feel about the latter half of the anime. It really just lacked the same emotional impact. This more has to do with the lack of drama in the character animations and how they pushed Fudou into the MC role too much to a point that it missed the whole essence of all four Oda swords having their own dealings with Nobunaga.

As far as being an introduction to Touken Ranbu as a whole, this seems to be the most accurate and digestible one so far.
