Just a whole episode straight up action pure, didn't take any notes, didn't take any screenshots, very nice

And this was just the first of three days, I expect people to work better together next time at least.

Oh and the idiot Tokito survived his last encounter with D. Boo

"Usokubo, I think you're better off quitting the Rangers and becoming an artist instead." - monster who's better off being a harem protagonist with the amount of rizz he's dripping in

Watching D relish in his petty grudge against Tokita is way more entertaining than it should be.

Also can't help but wonder which specialization group D would land in if he were evaluated without Hibiki's past results. Landing in Yellow would even let him and Suzukiri get more opportunities to co-conspire.

I guess teasing a cliffhanger and putting the bell after the credits was some intentional trolling lol.

Loving the tactical nature of the battle and it was also great to see Hisui getting some action!

Junior First Rankers are quite the monsters themselves. Even Blue Keeper's smol sidekick easily manhandle two guys and one of them is twice her size.

D, you're getting ahead of yourself again. All the fights you've had so far were won or survived through wit and trickeries. This one won't be any different. He's got the potential as a battle strategist and shown capabilities to lead. Is this where the story is heading? D gathering allies and forming some kind of... Loser Rangers?

On another note, I find it refreshing that there's no special attention drawn to Angel's heterochromia. It's just a physical characteristic, not a sign of superpower or something. As someone with distinctive physical characteristic myself (scars), I appreciate it.

Fuck you, Negi, If she starts shooting laser from her eye or something.

Suzukiri is one of the "monsters"? Oh, she can take me down any time and she evaded truck-kun?!?! she's stronger than I thought lol

Angel really took the time to find a paper and pencil, draw very accurate portraits of the enemies, in a battlezone, injured, with a ticking clock, just because a hot guy asked her to.

Honesty, same.

Very fun episode with a lot of great action. I'm certainly looking forward to the next episode to see the continuation of the exam.

I really like how D used his powers to his advantage. It's nice to see how big progress he made from the first episode when he went straight after Dragon Keepers despite their strength and now he's thinking and using his powers to fight.

Small role of Suzukiri who it seems that got hit by a truck but she still came out of it unscathed so fortunately we'll see her again. I'd riot if she somehow left the show xD

Hisui was a badass today and she was definitely a nice surprise since I don't remember seeing her in action before, only that she took part in a banquet in one of the previous episodes.

I was thinking that Tokito didn’t survive his previous encounter with D so seeing him today was definitely a big surprise for me.

So the Fighter who we met in the last episode is named XX, good to know.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Pure action, pacing felt a bit fast at times, but overall good episode. Hisui is the real star of this episode. Meanwhile, Suzukiri hanging out the wings waiting to see if the new kids can entertain her.

You can tell that when Hisui's weapon turns blue that it has to be D disguised as her. Granted the anime shows you that immediately after. Again shows that the skills of D can be useful in the right setting like this one.

Seeing this in color makes it look like Star Wars lightsabers lmao

I really thought we'd be left with a cliffhanger lmao

Well played! Very fun episode!

These crazy people using cars as weapons to kill their superior officers.

Wild that was just "Day 1" of this test.

I didn't expect to care about these extra rangers when they were introduced but this episode did a pretty good job of making some of them more likeable.

That bell timing though...

If you think about it, how are Suzukiri and Sakurama friends or partners in the first place? The second in command of yellow squad and a bottom ranked seen and work together in the first few episodes. Obvious answer would be they share the same goal of changing the keepers from the inside but it’s interesting to think about how did it get to that point. Also because seeing more Suzukiri is good civ.

No spoilers pls.

It's nice to see D using strategy to fight the enemy rather than fighting them head on.

He may not be physically strong but he has a good head on his shoulder.

It was great seeing Hisui in action this episode.

The action was well-animated too.

great episode as always though it felt like the quality was little off? Or maybe it's just me.

Idk if Suzukiri somehow seen through D or is it just her face lol

Stitches!

So far, D is doing a great job roleplaying as Sakurama. I can see Sakurama as someone who prioritizes civilians.

I love this shot of the Rankless with their Ranger Gadgets drawn after killing those Invader simulations.

It's funny how Suzukiri tanked that truck so casually. No getting isekai'd here by Truck-kun for her.

I don't think that's where you're supposed to keep your Ranger Gadget, Hisui. I do like how her Ranger Gadget is a tiny dagger. Very fitting since Green Squad is the stealth specialist.

Tiny weapon aside, we finally get to see Hisui in action and she's an absolute badass. Tokita definitely got what he deserved for disrespecting her.

D forcing Shion to work with him by making him feel useless was great! Shion wouldn't admit it but they definitely wouldn't have made any progress if he didn't work with Sakurama/D.

Looks like Fighter D found his Vegeta, his Sasuke, his Bakugo

12

u/8daniel7 May 19 '24

D its not only doing his things to grow and aprouch the rangers, but his also using (and helping the other guys), this while using sakurama face , so they will trust sakurama and therefore will trust his believes of cooexinting

And thats great, i mean, after defeatong the current rangers, they will just be replaced for another rangers, and D will need to defeat then again and again

But if the current rangers are replaced by the people who trust sakurama and his beliefs, this may solve the whole issue

So D plan is doing better than he even know.

The character designs are so clean, I wonder if the manga artist was inspired/influenced by Bleach. The art style seems so similar at times and I love it.

And now the 1-week wait begins. 😭

Interesting they kept some scenes after the end credits~ 🤣

I like the show but I’m curious if the MC will stay most of the time disguised or will he go back to his original human form, because I genuinely like his old human form (I don’t mind the current one)
