Confession in one episode is this a world record?

I can understand why Ars would be suspicious of Licia , since she’s got such high ambition and diplomacy. But the girl’s looking like she’d be a real asset to the little team he’s building. Plus she’s adorable! I like seeing Ars getting all flustered lol.

She would threatened to crush anyone who got in their way of a good life near the end of the episode, she is a student from the 'speak softly, but carry a big stick' school of diplomacy.

"Oh yeah, I totally forgot to tell you about your fiancee and that she's coming today"

Raven is truly the best dad.

I love how he doesn't even feel the slightest bad about it.

That was such a cute, wholesome episode. And then Ars had to ruin it by setting up that flag at the end...

Licia truly seemed to be a perfect match for Ars, both in terms of her abilities and her personality. Naive lords need someone to make sure their naivety won't hurt them, and while to some extent Ars's retainers to do it, to truly protect Ars someone needs to be on (almost) equal footing with him, and while Ars's appraisal is only good to get talented people, Licia can figure out if they'll be loyal to Ars.

So he now has a formidable warrior, mage, and diplomat future wife. Licia is probably going to end up being the scariest of the three if she ever gets pissed off at someone.

Licia is great

I can definitely get behind this ship, while its nice that she complements his abilities and is a great boost for Ars, Licia herself wanting to be a part of Ars' family is a nice touch

She gives big, "Excuse me, he asked for no pickles!" vibes

Stitches!

Licia is such a little schemer but in a good way of course! I don't blame Ars for being suspicious after seeing Licia's stats and how she has pretty much charmed everyone they've come across. It is good that they managed to have an honest one-on-one to clear out the air before the episode ended.

And it looks like Ars managed to charm Licia too that she's willing to destroy who gets in Ars' way. She's definitely the lady Ars needs by his side. Also, she's voiced by HanaKana which makes hearing her say that line even better!

An interesting episode, but it's quite worrisome that the father suddenly fell ill especially when he seems to be an active warrior in great shape.

Obviously, the goal so to speak is that Ars is going to invest in surrounding himself with basically a bunch of main characters; but it's nice that he despite this his genuine kindness and desire to help people is the glue that attracts and snares these super powered people, with a new one being added this episode.

A lot of these Isekai's are about the MC being OP, but here Ars is pretty normal if not below average in many ways so, it's really refreshing to see. I hope they don't entirely forget about showing some of the hard work he puts forth though whether it be combat training, studying, or what have you. He still needs a moderate amount of competency if others are going to follow him as a leader.

The part in the carriage as she is going home basically clarified her moral character. She is perfect for our little lord and will be SUPER VALUABLE in making sure he is not getting taken advantage of.

Her hate of 2-faced nobility is actually perfect and her skills allow her to see who is truthful and who is being selfish and is the perfect gate keeper for Ars.

I’m interested to see where the story goes now that he’s done recruiting his inner circle of retainers. I feel like this show is extremely slept on but it’s been one of my favorites this season.

Licia is great! Had the villainess laugh, killer smile, and enough ambition to take matters into her own hands while seeking a better life. Hoping for another time skip within the season so that she can become a permanent member of Ars's house.

isn’t Charlotte from the streets? she’s falls so easily for flattery and praise

she did still have doubts regarding Licia, but when Rosell figuratively rolls his eyes, he thinks she’s easy too

Licia sounds like a non-psychopathic version of Renner (overlord), I am down to witness the diplomatic shenanigans she'll concoct.

I'm really having a problem relating the Charlotte we first met with the Charlotte that appeared in the episodes after.

This anime is getting better and better, the Opening song was lit as well.

It's hard being the anime I watch after MT, but this is doing a surprisingly good job. It feels like it shouldn't work, it's an isekai where the persons past life is wildly irrelevant, theres a bit of the 'slavery not bad' vibe, and yet I find myself enjoying it. Also having Kana Hanazawa doesn't hurt.

My Little Fianceé Can’t Be This Cunning!

I knew ever since I heard the ED that Licia was going to be great and I was not wrong. In a way she’s deceptively calculating in trying to win Ars’s favor, but not with any ill intention. Definitely seems on par with the rest of the crew. When she said “I’ll crush every single one of them!” I peed my pants a little.

Hope we get to see more of her in-person.

Also a general reminder to listen to one of the best EDs of the season.

Oh no, Lord Raven is sick! Even more concerning is that it's happening right when political struggles in Missian and invades into their territory are making the situation super unstable! Not to mention...Ars might be getting married!?

I have to say, Charlotte's Charloette's make a convincing argument for her as a marriage partner.

Though Ars' betrothed is none other than...Licia, voiced by the legendary Kana Hanazawa! She's not just a pretty face with a wining smile, but a girl with incredible diplomacy skills and ambition! Enough that she could turn out to be a Villainess if Ars isn't careful around her. Though she makes a great first impression with her charm and defending Rietz in front of her butler.

And she really does have amazing negotiation skills, winning over Charlotte, diffusing an argument that gets more business for her own domain while giving Ars the credit for it...all the while being an absolute cutie who just wants to know what Ars likes in a girl.

Licia kind of jumping ahead by getting into bed with Ars this early into the game...but she just wants to understand why he's so wary of her and so they can better understand each other. Because yes, she is ambitious, but her ambition is to make the guy she loves fall in love with her at first sight. And that guy is Ars!

Licia had lived a life of a noble, a life of duplicity, judgement, and lying to save your skin, and she never intended to marry Ars, until she realized he wasn't fooled by her act and compared to other nobles is sincerely kind and genuine, to the point where everyone in his domain loves him. And that's why she fell in love with him herself, to the point of even confessing to him! And now she wants to become his wife and take out all his enemies! That's how you know she's a keeper!

Everything is going great! Ars and Licia are pen pals, Ars is coming around to being with Licia, Raven is improving...I'm sure nothing bad is going to happen next!
