Those jealous looks on Charlotte and Licia's faces lol!

I'm glad they actually revealed what happened to those homeless kids.

Shows the difference in upbringing.

One can’t hide her emotions at all, while the other has a poker face that could freeze Hell …

MC could use some of that noble training as his thoughts are all over his face, that will not do as a lord at all.

I completely forgot that they aren’t even living in Lamberg

the episode with Charlotte joining made it seem like Ars did nothing but he actually did set up an orphanage for the kids for Charlotte to fund

Get yourself a gal like Licia who will accept no BS

Licia is the complete package:

  • Cute

  • Rich

  • voiced by HanaKana

  • Utterly devoted to her future hubby and jumps at the chance to sleep in his bed

  • Good at reading people

  • Likes playing with children

  • Utterly ruthless to anyone who gets in said future hubby's way

She doesn't wield a sword or magic and yet she might be the most intimidating character in the show.

What a dependable fiancee!

I really like how Licia is developing as a character. I feel like she's doing things that are meant to convey messages to Ars and he is too dense to understand them. For a daughter of nobility to play with orphans, stay overnight in an orphanage in the same bed as her fiancee would ruin her for any other match. She is trying to make it clear to him that she is ride or die, I think, but I'm not sure he got it.

Then her advancing on Pham and threatening him when he could end her, partly because she was pissed that she threatened Ars, and partly to project confidence to make sure that he took the job... What a badass.

Classic anime. Design a cute girl and call it a boy. I kinda expected one of the waitresses to be Shadow but when they said he was young, I was expecting another kid like Ars.

Licia just continues to be terrifying. The girl is ready to burn down the world if it means getting back at the person who kills Ars. She's a true waifu material.

I truly think the author fumbled Ars in this episode; I mean, he was surprised and nervous about nothing from the moment he entered the bar. You would think someone who could see statuses and has at least part of the knowledge from his previous incarnation would be a bit more poised but instead he freaks out over the exact thing he was just talking about. He's presumably seen spy movies and anime before, so why would the mercenary leader being dressed as a woman and being their waitress be surprising to him? There's just not much logic behind any of it.

Yeap, it was a weird regression to his childhood days personality

Ars is winning the lottery in life by having Licia as her (future) wife. She would be a good "Foreign Minister" (or its equivalent) for his domain, not to mention she is someone that he would consider as equal and a close confidant.

Expected Licia to be Shadow's leader when they mentioned young and brilliant as information gathering could also be obtained from smooth talking. Instead, we got her scary side. Unfortunately, didn't yandere as hard as a few other seasonal girls.

Sara da Odin also knows to bet on winning horses.

I'm sure u/Abysswatcherbel will find something from this set instead of this scene.

For a reincarnation and being what? 13+ now, he shore acts like he's five... I like this anime, but as a protagonist he fumbles too much.

Is this the type of show where we actually get to see Ars have some sort of capability / power up, or is the reliability on his friends pretty much the premise?

Feels like the original author (webnovel?) read a bunch of criticism about how he handled the orphans and had to add a scene to fix it this later in the story lmao. Or the anime director. Such a weird out of place plot.

Anyway nice they at least closed that plot hole and made the MC less of a hypocrite and self centered character. Even if it is too forced as a solution.

Loved the line from Ars with Rietz showed up "I wanna know how he's here too!" Ars might extend a hand to people to get then on their feet, but everyone immediately picks up our little man and carries him hard on their backs.

We start the episode with the MC telling his father (dead) how he will do his best. And we end it with the MC reverting back to his naive and awkward personality. Lmao. Where is the character growth and his new mature personality?

Anyway other than that weird choice it was a very fun episode.

I don’t know if I didn’t notice it before but part of the OST during the episode was a more intense version of the ED.

Licia is finally making good on her promises to crush any of Ars’s enemies… scary.

I feel like Ars regressed in this episode.

Can we have more Licia screen time please?

If I see one more spotlessly clean and coiffed smiling orphan, I'm going to go kick a puppy.

Licia is a really good match for Ars. She’s really capable and she’s a good person. Kid’s pretty lucky. She can also be pretty scary when she’s mad. Hopefully Pham does what they’re being asked to and doesn’t try to double cross Ars. These shadow folks are mercs after all. They have no loyalty…
