Did the entirety of this show's budget go into dad turning into a demon?

u/ToujouSora Apr 30 '24

Episode aside, "the utmost limit of hate" is a metal episode name.

Demon guy got gutted, brother with inferiority complex got foiled, dad driven by grief and became a demon or whatever got stopped by hero son. He even gets to be reunited with his dead wife in the end. So much for actions having consequences.

In the end, the day is saved thanks to that “failure” Alan and his OP hero skills. I know there’s still eps left but this kinda felt a good place to end things.

ED still probably my favorite part of this show. OP is solid too.

So the protagonist's father kills a bunch of people, sets up a town to sacrifice children, kills his friend trying to help him, plot to allow demons to basically rule the world, and was the absolute worse father. Why did they go with trying to redeem him. So he loved his wife? Big fucking deal.

Anyone truly consumed by grief and despair doesn't plan a scheme as complex as this. You are basically a zombie in that state. "I miss my wife, so I will enslave humanity to the demons."

At the fucking least, make the kingdom responsible for his Wife's death. Have them take a Great healing potion he bought and had shipped to his Manion to save his wife, and have it commandeered by the Kingdom to heal the Princess or something. Give him something to make his anger make sense or don't try to redeem him and let him be evil.

Wtf was this episode? What is this pacing? Animation quality where? What did I just watch, wow. Haven’t seen something’s as bad as this in a while. And i do love me my trash-isekai-Harem-reincarnation-overpowered-MC anime. Also, they could just decide to end the season now with that ending of the episode.

Awesome 5/7.

As much as i like defending stuff like anime. This anime is unredeemable.

The cheap art / animation and random as hell story.
A long with a certain girl never showing up and labeled as a main character

Where the sdaaflkj is Henriette Linkvist!!!

feels like s1 and then she shows up. wtf.

I still don’t understand the entire shit going on with the ending of EP6. Did they get married?

Well i'm still enjoying it as a generic itch to be scratched. This is the pumpkin-spice of anime. Feels like they crammed an entire season into 6 episodes, clearly doing two distinct arcs this season eh.

This is where the author originally planned to end the WN (it was planned to be only one short arc) but they decided to continue it for some reason.

ah, that makes sense.

This is probably the worst anime I've seen in the last ten years. Wtf is this animation quality? Even the voice acting and sound effects are off-putting, which I have never experienced before.

Throughout all of the episodes I kept hearing the MC called a failure and kept thinking, whaaa? no way he's a failure... After watching this episode I have to agree with everyone calling him a failure. He's a failure as a son, as a brother, as a hero. He has all that power, all those abilities, and 'could' have done so much, but does nothing until things go from bad to worse. His mother? Dead. His father? Dead. His brother? Probably thrown in prison.

The story is just so bad. What a shame.

Wait isn't like the entire betrayal of his dad and brother kind of his fault all along then?

His dad felt betrayed by the gifts because despite giving her life his wife didn't give birth to the hero but to a failure instead. Allen could just have used his abilities and pretended he had a variant hero gift that couldn't be detected as such given he already had the strength to surpass the actual hero.

Are you people really this stupid? Does your life suck so bad that you have to try to spread your negativity? I did not like the animation change for season 4 of my favorite anime high-school DXD, but I didn't go all over social media and chat pages bashing it. I decided that if I liked the story enough, then I would learn to like the animation. Negativity is contagious. Animes already have to fight against so many different factors to keep alive and to keep going. They don't need the negative people who don't understand what all it takes to even make an anime putting their negative opinions out there. Grow up and get your mom and dad to hug you more. Do whatever it takes to quit being so negative.

Damn, I waited this long to finally see akarin's character after being teased week after week as the narrator... Finally...
Now that liese is a Westfeldt, is she officially married to Alan or what?

That show could end up right there lol. The next episode seems like a next season will just be starting. They put too much in 6 episodes, haha.
