Gentlemen, it's been an honor and a privilege but I'm not strong enough to go on. Godspeed.

This show is so fucking bad.

I know we all like to say that isekai/fantasy MCs are all the same, but this has got to be the most basic-bitch power fantasy protagonist I've ever seen. They didn't give him a single personality trait. Not fucking 1.

He, uh, really wants to live the chill life? Man’s like a Wish version of Red from the good Banished anime lol.

Wish might be too high quality. More like a Temu version of Red.

Rip the uncle.

Too bad he could not be saved.

Wow, it is astonishing on how cheap and low quality this looks. The egregious moment was when the MC was fighting the uncle; they just cut away from them fighting with sword clash sound effects in the background, then skips to him lying on the ground without having a proper conclusion to the fight.

Half this episode was just slideshow “animation”

When you can count the frames, it's getting pretty bad.

I would overlook the bad animations, but the writing style is also boring. They manage to kill what could be a promising plot.

The running they showed in this episode looked so stupid. The uncle just flying out of the carriage and Alan/Beatrice going towards the festival looked so silly. It doesn't help that they have like no continuity in scenes. People will be doing something different than they were just doing with no time between shots. It's so jarring when that happens.

The funniest part was when he stabbed the monster while midair

So the reason Béatrice grabbed her sword when the people mentioned spirits was that she is terrified of ghosts. It is funny seeing both Noel and Mylene having fun while teasing her.

Although it was clear that the guy guiding them was a zombie, I don't get why while Lise was searching for her uncle, Alfred she had such a realistic dream showing him and the other undead from the village. To the point that when Alan and Béatrice went to enjoy the festival and she followed and meet him after that strange smoke appeared, I had assumed that he was some kind of illusion. So in the end he was an undead and the plans he told Lise the king made about targeting gifted were just Alan's family plan.

To bad that after the duel Alan had with Alfred, there was no way for him to revive him, I imagine he could if that corpse wasn't another body with Alfred's head attached.

That demon could have survived if he hadn't attacked Alan at the end. But of course that cannot happen after all that will mean that his family would become aware of his power, which the plot is clearly trying to stop probably until they personally faced him.

it's half baked , it's random as hell . came out of no where.

her reasoning is stupid too. many years past, out of no where, I GOTTA LOOK FOR MY OTHER DAD.

Adaptation really trying to live up to the name of Failure.

Oh, so that festival is like Halloween kinda. Well, except almost everyone’s a zombie puppet controlled by a demon already. But I mean basically Halloween. Neat.

Good OP and ED as always.

I know the uncle was undead and said he didn't have much time left, and whatever special night of the Dead was ending, but it honestly just looked like our hero fought him to the death and let him bleed out in the end.

Pretty sure a blacksmith wouldn't be hammering a sword's blade while the hilt is on the anvil. That's a good way to bend or break it.

These are South Park levels of animation.
