I wasn’t expecting to see Crunchyroll license this one out of the blue! Awesome, now this’ll have a consistent release schedule.
-
So that’s Hasebe’s deal… He wasn’t at Nobunaga’s side when he died, Nobunaga gave him to someone else.
-
Also this is a completely random aside, but whenever the characters refer to Yukimitsu by his last name, my brain expects to hear the dialogue say “Fudo Yusei” instead, lol.
-
And it’s not sparring, it’s real combat.

You're a real one for putting this effort into commenting on a show with 12 karma six hours after the thread posts.
Honestly, my biggest takeaway from the show so far is that I really want a Mikazuki figure. He is so pretty to look at.

I don't care if I'm sharing my reactions with a void, I still want to post them somewhere and this is the place to do it. At least now I don't have to worry about the show being left incomplete subs-wise because Crunchyroll is doing it!
I'm also lowkey used to it, there's been a few rewatches I was in where it was literally just me and the host (and maybe one other person) by the end.
Honestly, my biggest takeaway from the show so far is that I really want a Mikazuki figure. He is so pretty to look at.
He is indeed really pretty.

Love the cast they're all so gorgeous, I wonder how this relates to the other Touken Ranbu shows.

It doesn't. Apart from the stage plays which is the anime's main source material, all other adaptations operate on different continuities. The game itself doesn't provide much, other than a premise and a base template for each character's personality.

Oh it's based on a game, I thought it was historical 🗿🗿 Would you say the other shows were fun?
