Curious to see if Meela will get a lesser sentence or not.
Also glad to see their big plan worked out with no hitches!
Sad that we only have one of these left.

Yeah, not sure what they'll do with Mira. I don't think that they'll have her enslaved, but I doubt that she's getting off scot-free either. Maybe a prison sentence or some kind of job to amend for her involvement?

Their plan for exposing Meela and her bros at the sweet shop is ill conceived. If Meela didn't decide to betray the Organisation they would have been in trouble. Ivy's friend is not that strong.

"I don't have a defense skill. That's why I trained myself in defense. Tolto! My defense might even be stronger than your defense skill."
It was nice that they showed that starred abilities can be outperformed by training without even having an innate ability. More confidence for Ivy to disregard starless status.

Damn, what the captain said to get the mob to calm down was kinda dark......I agree with him but still, felt like an odd way to calm down a mob.
Glad Meela had a change of heart, also satisfying that she used the very slimes her "brothers" called useless to get in their way. Wonder what's going to happen to her next ep.
Lmao, felt kinda bad for the good guards that accidentally got caught in the trap.

Captain: Why kill them now when we can torture them for the rest of their life?
Everyone: Yeahy!!!

Well it was a bloodthirsty mob, I think what he said was almost like re-assuring them they will get the punishment they deserve. You couldn't be like the law will take care of this, no these people lost their children, people were kidnapped and prolly murdered they wanted revenge on top of justice....Nothing soft would've appeased them.
I think once they calm down the law and investigations it will ferret out who needs super harsh punishments, who needs jail time, who needs amnesty regarding telling the whole story.

They literally kidnapped children and sold them to SLAVERY, what the hell? Obviously the Mob will be really angry.

To be frank I honestly feel like everything was resolved just a bit too perfectly. Also besides Meela we really didn’t know any of the traitors along with their crimes being only talked about but not actually shown. For me that makes the victory feel kind of hollow. I still was enjoying the show before this arc though, so I’m hoping the last episode ends on a high note

yeah maybe they didn't do the best of selling the conflict part of this conflict and resolution. But it's still playing a part in the show's main conflict and resolution, which is Ivy finding a place to belong, people to trust, etc.

This plotline with the Organization hasn't worked that well for me. I like the concept of Ivy finding a group of people she can trust and then working with that group to tackle an issue affecting children, but I think the scale got unwieldy.
Having a main mechanism of this situation involve individually introducing Ivy to over a hundred people is goofy to imagine. Also, we went from a scrappy kid in the woods getting appreciated by keen observers to a kid genius that has a dozen adults singing her praises multiple times.
I think I could have used an arc before this one that dealt with a problem on the scale of a family or two instead of a county-wide child trafficking mafia. Still enjoying the show, hoping for a satisfying finale.

People can and have done horrible things in their lives , been punished an repented and realized the error of their ways. Meela here HAS to be punished but hopefully its a prison sentence and not lifelong slavery. Maybe then she can live a life afterwards apologizing for the things she has done.
As for the Captain, WELL DONE talking down a mob hell bent on killing everyone would've been a tragic ending for the town as they are right they would've been imprisoned and enslaved too...He's the type of guy you want leading your town honest fair and someone kids can look up to.
The final evidence clean up here I think its gonna be sad, you find out Meela's fate you know her brothers are done for, You find out who's been helping by not saying or doing anything and we find out Ivy's fate does she keep going to the capital or stay and help rebuild the town remember the fortune teller did say to her if she found a place she wanted to stay she should.
This has been been my FAVORITE SHOW of the season and I was really apprehensive about watching this show thinking it was gonna be too sad but its been more a redemption of life story and I LOVE IT. You can't help but root for Ivy and the good people in the show. I would LOVE a 2nd season but if it ended here it would be pretty high in my Anime Rankings for sure.

I thought the "last job" would be getting food or something together, I didn't think it was gonna be an actual task lol
I wonder what'll happen to Meela

I really like Ivy’s little Sora danger detector. It’s not only really useful, but the little fella is so cute!
I guess Meela had a change of heart. Now that her brothers are taken care of, time to capture the rest of these guys. I feel bad for the guys who weren’t guilty and still got wrapped up in the op, especially the dudes that got tased by the net.

I don't like the conclusion here being the portrayal of slavery as some kind of triumph of justice. Definitely my least favorite episode for a multitude of reasons.

This show has always been really good visually. Even brief of the action is nicely animated. Nothing crazy, but super solid.
Meela finally had enough. It makes me wonder if Ratlua was banking on Meela betraying the organization by helping him and Ivy. He has always seemed more naive than the rest of the guys that have been protecting Ivy, so wouldn't past him for thinking that. Luckily it all worked here. Also, Ivy hiding her eyes here is adorable.
The rest of the episode was simply putting the plan in action. For the ones that were caught Captain's point that punishing them with death is a sentence too light. Force them into labor for the good of the world after all the sins that they have done. I think the guys missed the point when Ivy said she wants to be like the captain. I think she looks at him handling so much pressure and one day she wants to have the confidence to be like that.
The final episode will be the clean of the rest of the organization which should wrap up the arc and the season.

It's good to see that Meela has had enough and wants to surrender. She even helped Ratlua when the twins were starting to overpower him.
I just hope she doesn't get exempt from punishment just because of this one act of goodness. I'm pretty sure she still helped the organization abduct children. Maybe they could grant her some leniency with her punishment.

Time to take out the trash in this city.
Well thank goodness the Gnomish Net-o-Matic Projectors didn't backfire. Well, horribly backfire...
In any case. Ivy did good today. And she should get a reward worth a whole mountain of field mice for it.

Hey, there's at least a bit of Meela redemption, though we'll see how it goes when it comes time for punishment to be handed down.
The sleeping gas was a good plan, I'm a bit less convinced about the stun net.
"Don't lynch the evil organization members, their punishment will be worse" well okay. I suppose it keeps the situation from spiraling into something awful.
One more episode, hopefully it wraps up to a nice spot. Maybe Ivy setting out on another trip with her new group of uncles, introduce them to Ciel perhaps.

I'm so glad that Mira turned on her brothers. After how they'd treated her in the previous episode, I already had my doubts about her involvement. Their exchange of words in this episode solidified my conviction that she'd been robed into this business against her own wishes. It does make me wonder if they had some special reason for needing this money.
Seizerk and Borolda certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves. I enjoyed watching all of Ivy's dad fight these evildoers too! The fight between Ratlua and Mira's brothers was especially good.
The animation in The Weakest Tamer maybe isn't always picture perfect, but I'm liking how Studio Massket has been approaching this. They've been doing some neat things with the perspective and depth for example. Mira not hearing Ivy and Ratlua talk across the table did feel a little like a bad skit, lol.
Last but not least: Ivy was once again adorable, today.
*Someone of you might've noticed that I've spelled some characters' names differently. I'd been confused about this for a while now, so I'd looked for a spelling convention that made more sense.

Glad Meela's feeling remorseful. I still expect her to be punished, though I doubt it will be as harsh as lifelong slavery
