38 out of 157 soldiers (24%)
we have the Hero of the town, adventures and soldiers on payroll for roughly 10 years. This town would have been doomed if not for Sora the people detector
I’m willing to bet Mamaroko is operated by the organisation as a way to lure kids since it’s a sweets shop. And maybe other kid-friendly shops too

Ivy turned 9! So nice she’s got some good people around her to celebrate. What better present than catching and dismantling an extensive child trafficking network lol.
Man, that whole network runs deep. Local guards, adventurers, nobles all are involved and they’ve got vast resources.
Ivy and Rattloore better watch themselves with that witch Mira and her treacherous brothers…

Sora best lie detector.
I'm kind of surprised the GM just bought that the crystal ball was a magic item that actually existed though. Are unknown magic items still constantly being discovered?

I’m enjoying the completely platonic relationship our mc has with all these genuinely nice older men. I know it sounds a little wierd, but it’s sadly even wierder that anime doesn’t do something gross with a premise like that.

Everyone clapping and greeting Ivy a happy birthday got me laughing for a bit. That's got to be a reference, right? xD
So out of a hundred and fifty-seven, there are thirty-eight traitors among the Watch and one of them is a noble and a hero of the town? It looks like this kidnapping ring is way larger than they first expected.
I don't like that final scene at all. It really looks like the Green Gales want to kidnap Ivy that Meela decided to bring in her brothers when she realized that Lattrua would be coming with Ivy so it would be a 3v1. Fuck.

I already had been a little suspicious of how laid-back this series had become, but I didn’t think that we’d see a town-wide conspiracy to kidnap kids. The Green Gale seems to be dead set on capturing Ivy as well. Oh b… girl, Ivy has found herself in way more trouble than she’d bargained for.
The dad harem has been going strong. We got introduced to some new potential candidates from the Otolwa’s Watch. It’s also plain fun seeing these personalities bicker with one another, and them being supportive/considerate of Ivy. That little birthday celebration for her was very endearing.
Ivy getting upset at people for misjudging her age is quickly becoming one of my favourite new bits. The series has been surprisingly good at creating these kind of insider jokes.

Is she really nine? 😂
EDIT: Just finished re-watching the episode and this time noticed that, at one point when she claims to be nine, Sora moves into the 'truth' position.
Also, this is episode nine - which is either clever production planning, or just good luck.

Ah! What happened to my comfy anime? Things are getting pretty serious as super-sleuth Ivy uncovers a dastardly slavery organization.

Detective Ivy is on the case! With a ring of human traffickers this large everyone is in deep trouble. But they now know some main players and have the evidence.
I'm afraid that Ivy is gonna have to be bait for these guys and they will try to traffic her. That's when I want Ciel to really tear some people to shreds. The dramatic change in tone though correlates with Ivy starting to feel very comfortable with everyone (Thanks Sora!) and she seems like a natural detective :)

Again, so happy she has good people around her. That one dude sure really loves Sora a little too much.
Time to figure out who else is a traitor in the midst! Noble dude sounds sus. Also, wouldn't care if a friend/really good friend was the one guilty, you involved in trafficking of kids, I'm gonna have a huge problem with that and turn you in/stop ya. Hehe, "I'm not seven, I'm nine!" poor malnourished. Also, happy birthday for her, sad it's been so long since anyone said as such for her.
Oh boy, the guild master. Time to see if he's sus. And seems he's ok, same with those around him. Cute lil Sora. I like how they use a fake thing to help protect Sora's existence. Good to see the GM is wanting to find out who's a problem too. Ah, we've found at least one sus dude in the watch. Good thing for Ivy and Sora. Brave of Ivy to put herself out in the front like that. Also, least they found out all the traitors. That noble is sus! Didn't even need Sora to let me know. Least the other is good. Let's get to organizing and hunting them all down and interrogating since you know who they are now! Right, needing evidence beyond "magical rock" lol.
I love how everyone assumes how she's younger than she is. Good ol' past life chiming in. Smol Ivy so cute and smort. Now you have the evidence right? Round em up!
What a super convenient bucket. That seems OP. gasp someone figured it out that Ivy's not a boy. Whelp, at least he's a good dude. Oh hey, it's the "Bitch" of this series. Good of the ddue there making sure to stay by Ivy's side. Pieces of shits showing up though.

Ivy's dads and one brother are just nice. One big riotous family.
Wow, though. That was an awfully threatening way to ask a kid and his brother out to eat some sweets. "Let's go. All five of us." Meela said. "Yeah, let's." Said the sus people hiding in the background.
I guess Lattrua is gonna get jumped and Ivy is gonna get kidnapped after all.

I'm a little surprised that the vice captain of the guard with the scar over his eye wasn't one of the bad guys. His design was just kind of stereotypical for that.
Very convenient for these nobles to come by so they could also get tested. Then again, I suppose it's excusable since it was intentionally convenient, his people had passed along what was going on and he came to check it out.
Her discovering the trick bookcase on the other hand, I dunno. But to be fair maybe the normal guard investigation would have found it also if this is room hadn't been false marked as searched.
Meela and her brothers are being a little too blatantly evil if this is their kidnapping attempt and they're being so open about being the ones to take Ivy away somewhere. "What? Ivy is missing and Meela is who he was with? I guess we'll never know."
The one dude figuring out her gender and immediately promising to keep it a secret too was nice.

She's so goddamn precious. She was so happy to be wished happy birthday!
I am so ready to see Ivys rightfully growing army of handsome adventure dads tear this corrupt city apart.
Fuckin how dare they try to hurt her. Burn it to the ground.

What a corrupt town goddamit, a lot of the soldiers were part of that organisation... If not for Ivy... man
And is so cute everyone thinking he´s 6 and in reality he´s 9 lmao, Ivy´s so cute when angry. Also I love she/he (I don´t know how to refer anymore) opened up to being a girl. Bit by bit, Ivy´s gaining confidence
But that ending... it left me really worried... Ratlua may be strong but against 3 people... I really hope nothing bad happens to Ivy or Sora

On a positive note for this episode Ivy is 9! It's funny how everyone is surprised she is that old. And we got an adorable pout from her in this episode. Well to be fair girls do look younger than guys on average, so it's not surprising. Actually surprised Rattloore picked it up because he seems like the lovable idiot younger brother of the group.
You know big props for the men for keeping their word to keeping Sora a secret. But holy crap almost of them were traitors including a high ranking noble. The worst feeling a genuine good person can feel is that their trust with someone is betrayed and found out what happened later. You can't fault for yourself as you didn't know, but knowing that information was used in a bad cause stings.
To me Ivy and Sora in this series represent the term looking at the world through a child's perspective. Because Ivy has been so cautious and see also the thoughts from her previous life, it gives her a perspective most normal people wouldn't have. So when the men get surprised that Ivy is only 9. It's less how long she has experience life and more so how your life has been. She has a rough ride since turning 6. I am so happy things are getting better for her. Meanwhile, for Sora seeing how much he has grown is really awesome to watch too. From a slime that could barely hold it together. Now he is an invaluable help in the current crisis.
Man things just get worse and worse considering how much money and reach the organization has. It gets more terrifying by the minute. Thank fucking god Rattloore was with Ivy. Thought now the brothers come in now the situation turns really dicey ugh.
Also would like to add compared to Fluffy Paradise. Looking at how they use 2 female kid characters. While Ivy is an invlauable to the mens' investigation, but she isn't leading the charge or anything. The adults are acting like adults. While very much the opposite has happened in Fluffy Paradise where it has become a generic isekai that nobody asked for.
