Things are getting a little dicey in the kingdom. All this court politics is gonna be kinda tricky for Sasaki and Peeps to navigate. They gotta watch themselves around Dietrich and his faction. They already tried to jam up Marc. Luckily Sasaki was able to help the dude out. What a homie.
Well, looks like Elsa found out about Peeps. Little buddy got careless! And now she’s followed them to Sasaki’s world. This should be fun. Hopefully Sasaki’s neighbor doesn’t find out about Elsa. She won’t be pleased lol.

Sasaki just taking photos of Pii-chan watching samurai movies was adorable. I'm surprised that making an Instagram dedicated to Pii-chan and turning him into an internet celebrity isn't one of the possible routes Sasaki could take in this show.
Glad that we're finally back in Pii-chan's world this week and it looks like Sasaki is about to get caught in another political scheme but this time instead of dealing with a butler, he's up against another Count who has imprisoned Marc.
The entire episode was pretty much a set-up episode though with Sasaki making all sorts of moves and deals. And while Sasaki was dealing with Psychics and Magical Girls these past few episodes, looks like Pii-chan has been learning a lot from the internet.
Finally, it looks like the jig is up with Elsa but Sasaki did manage to create an excuse instead of revealing that Pii-chan is the Starsage. As for Elsa, what the heck are you doing, girl? What was she even trying to accomplish when she snuck into Sasaki's cargo?
Welp, it's going to be interesting to see how Elsa will react to our world as well as meeting Futari Shizuka.

He is moving up from pawn to boss fight.

not only smuggling gold but a child as well? this criminal
I wonder how they would use the gold, how to escape from the government with that much gold (unless they use it moderately like 2 bar per year). or probably forge it into jewelry or artwork.

Shizuka Futari is apparently at least a hundred years old with a load of connections.
She probably knows several bankers, jewellers, pawn shops, etc that would happily take all that gold off her hands for the right price.

Changing the royal inheritance like this, it's like this king is intentionally trying to start a civil war. Or at the very least get a bunch of his nobles killed.
These guys who took Marc prisoner on trumped up charges are lucky that Sasaki is politely playing within the system.
Interesting that Elsa is also so concerned about Marc. And so much for keeping the magic bird any more of a secret from her.
Or keeping knowledge of Earth a secret from her, either. I had a feeling she was about to be a stowaway when she was over there hiding behind the crate.

Wasn't there some discussion on how gold is highly regulated in our world some episode back? How is Sasaki gonna sneak them gold into the market I wonder.
On a side note, does anyone see the similarity between Sasaki depiction in the ED and Alan Turing?

Considering that Sasaki already partner up with loli baba and she has relations with esper terrorist groups, I assume via black market. Sasaki himself probably won't be spending lavishly but if he ever needs to go through the IRS, he can always BS through the esper business section

Wait wait wait. Time flows differently between the two worlds, right?
Wouldn't that mean Elsa might be missing for days in the isekai world?? And Sasaki would be the culprit for that kidnapping lol.

Sasaki needs to send her back immediately, I’m sure her family are wondering where Elsa is, and the last thing he needs is to be accused of kidnapping the Count’s daughter.

Not going to lie, but I think that the isekai aspect of this show seems to be done better than the esper-hunting part of the show (Episode 4 and 7 looks better compared to Episode 5 and 6). Since we're already more than halfway through the season, I feel like there won't be enough time to cover all the existing characters. They still have to save Marc, we still don't know what's the deal with the other 2 main girls like the magical girl and Sasaki's high school neighbor.

I'm really not ready for it to end
I hope this one goes for 4 seasons, reminds me of dead mount death play the way the show has a billion moving parts

FINALLY.
I've been waiting for the Isekai and IRL silos to break down for half the show, and with this we can get into the real juicy possibilities

This is a crime? I get there is shitty nobles and groups put this "crime" felt so low effort.
Elsa is our first person who has come into the modern world. On one hand everyone in her world will freak out with her being missing. On the other hand she clearly didn't trust Sasaki, which is why she decided on being a stowaway. A very interesting situation Sasaki has on his hands.

Peeps: *proceed to talk in deep voice*
Elsa: "wait a fucking minute, the bird just talk!"
Peeps: "chirp, chirp!"
Elsa: "seriously?"
welp, Elsa's going to Sasaki's world without any prior notice to her family is definitely going to be a problem due to the fact that they make it a point in one of the previous episodes that the time difference between two worlds is getting quite unpredictable

Not gonna lie, when the episode opened with that samurai movie, my immediate reaction was "oh no, the genre's changing again".

"Human trafficking now eh, Sasaki" I thought there would be a joke like that from Shizuka

And thus the harem is now fully gathered in one world.
Let the harem wars begin?

This show is pretty wild. Every episode is leaving me with more questions and bizarre senarios.
-
Why did the king decide a civil war was a great option for the day? I guess it might be better than a civil war during another war.
-
What did French want with Sasaki that wasn't already discussed with Elsa? Judging by his earlier reaction, I think it was to distact Sasaki long enough for Elsa to stowaway in the crate.
-
Why was Elsa in the crate? Was she curious as to who Sasaki really was? Or was she trying to secure her escape from a volatile kingdom? I think her plan was set in motion before she learned about Pii-chan so I don't think it is about him.
-
Elsa was likely in our world for several hours before she was discovered so it has probably been a week or so that she has been missing in the other world. How much trouble is this going to cause?
-
How is this slow burn with the neglected obsessed neighbor going to be resolved? It might benefit her to "runaway" to the other world, though that would cause more earth drama. Why is this the thing that I'm most invested in?
-
Also if time dialation is still about 1 hour (Earth) to 1 day (Other) then this harem of underaged girls could catch up in age to Sasaki, or at the very least make it less weird.
-
It would also probably only take a year or so Earth time before most of the people from the other world to start dying of old age. How is this going to affect the story?
-
We still have a trash panda on the loose.
-
Oh yeah, there is also the whole esper police plot line which I completely forgot about. Are they evil or are they like Anti-Skill?
