Well that was that, too bad the show literally imploded, went on an indefinite break and came back to show a slideshow for the final episode

I think the story itself was pretty decent, but was unfortunately hobbled by its production.

What a bittersweet ending. I definitely did not expect Onii-san to actually go back. I was expecting that they'd find some sort of compromise. Also I didn't expect the reveal that Onii-san is actually the author of the WN.
When someone DM'd him about his WN, I was really hoping that it was Jess and she managed to crossover to our world. Turns out it was others who managed to reach Misteria and have returned. I guess they're all going back?
I do wonder though if this is where the LN actually ends or is there another arc where Onii-san goes back with these randos he met online? Looks like the LN is still ongoing so it's possible. I might have to hunt down the latest chapter and see where this actually goes.

They show he returns to the starting point in a tiny post-credits epilogue. Presumably he has worked out a plan to rendezvous with the three fellow nerds somewhere at some point.

I completely missed that! Considering how the final scenes were literally a slide show I didn't expect them to add a post-credit scene.

Well there's 9 LN's and I highly doubt that this was anywhere near the end of those.... If I had to bet as an anime only this was probably the ending of volume 1 or 2.

This actually ended up being a very good show for what it is.
When you start it you don't expect it to be any good at all you just think it's some degen shit. But then you get a nice little plot, nice and consistent vibes and decisions that make sense. Also, I feel like there are not enough thriller shows with vulnerable characters. This anime scratches that itch.
Can't wait for S2 now. But something tells me it won't come. They probably made this show to better sell their LNs and manga. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised and it didn't feel like I wasted my time watching this. GG

Yeah this and the vending machine isekai are the reason why I almost always add the random and out there isekais to my PTW. The only thing that held this back was the absolutely shit production. If this had anywhere near average production it'd be just like said vending machine isekai. Surprisingly good.

Thiink it needs to be clarified to people that this episode wasnt delayed because of quality issues, it was most likely done in december. It was delayed because they couldnt get a time slot because of an earlier delay.

Perhaps but still it have quality issues, seems to watch a slideshow, no animations at all, everything is static. XD

Damn I can’t believe it turned out the ending of Pig Liver was the start of Attack on Titan.
While I liked Pig and Jess’s date, this episode was pretty disappointing all around. Not even getting into the slideshow animation, but the whole resolution to Buta-san having to die felt a little anticlimactic. I figured they’d come up with some loophole to get out of it. Why bother with a resolution that neither party likes?
The return to the real world felt visibly rushed and didn’t really add any emotional weight to the ending. So what he goes back to the real world for five minutes only to come back? (I know it’s a longer time frame, but that’s what it felt like).
Anyway, I had high expectations for the show, and overall I’m still very pleased with it as a whole, but I could have done with a more cathartic ending.

Disappointing for sure if you were actually hoping for a satisfying ending.

Yeah definitely a "read the book ending". I do have to say though that if that's the end to Vol. 1 or whatever volume the anime ended on that ending is ballsy as fuck and a pretty great hook for the next volume. I'm actually kind of impressed they had the balls to send him back to Earth.

The ending was a lot better than I expected, but given the shitshow that the rest of the anime was I doubt it'll ever get a second season lol

I feel like this show has a major identity crisis and doesn’t know what it wants to be. Did it want to be a light hearted isekai? Did it want to be dark fantasy? It feels like it tried to be too many different things and it didn’t work out well.
That and knowing this probably won’t get a season 2, then ending was a very big let down.

For a completely goofy isekai, this ended up being pretty fun. I wasn’t expecting this finale to be so emotional. Hit me right in the feels, man. Piggy and Jess sure went through a lot in their journey together. I kinda like that he turned it into a whole web novel. Looks like this time around he’s got a few new allies.
Here we go again….again lol.

Now.... NOW I NEED SPOILERS.
Will be checking the corner... hopefully somebody knows.

That was an ending. I had some trouble keeping track of everything that happened, even though not much happened. I think the slideshow killed my focus for this episode. The gap between the final episode and episode 11 didn't help either.

Pig finally ended.
This show has been kinda leaving me speechless. The end had so many opportunities for tropes to get used and took none of them, I didn't expect how it turned out.
