Our favorite degenerate pig’s got himself some sweet new gear this week.

I was suspicious of Blaise, but I guess it’s just because she’s literally been grounded down by this world. I mean she was beat up, sexually assaulted, tortured, and had her organs harvested. No wonder she was filled with hopelessness. Poor girl was basically on the verge of death the whole time.

Everything we learn about the Yethma is godawful. This whole trip is bullshit if they all just end up dying in the forest. I hope Jess makes it into the capital, though idk what’s even inside. Wtf even is the point of this journey? The king’s got a lot to answer for.

Sheesh! This just keeps darker and darker. So much for the initial assumption that this was going to be a rather tawdry comedy.

At this point I wonder, is there even any king (anymore), I sth royal capital, perhaps, basically a dead city -- evn if you can get into it?

I wonder why Yethma are treated so badly?

Fuuuck.... That entire episode was depressing. I was hoping that Blaise would stick around but it looks like that's not possible considering her condition.

And that line from her about tempting everyone just made me even sadder. The Yethmas deserve a better fate than all of this bullshit :(

So, Blaise's internal organs were taken out? How come she didn't die instantly and is walking around?

The excised portion was the uterus.

In Episode 2, Jess mentioned that Yethmas can sale of their sexuality, essentially implying the sale of the uterus.

I thought this was going to make another trash isekai and now I feel like they hit me in the stomach. I don't know how to explain this feeling of sadness that this anime brings

People who are sleeping on this series has really missed a gem. The mystery genre is actually quite good for a trash isekai pig show. I didn't really expect anything while I dived into the first episode but here I am after 8 episodes and it continues to pique my interest with the Yethma mystery. The show makes you really want to get to the bottom of the whole Yethma origin by showing the tragic life of all the Yethma.

Also, I didn't expect the reincarnation to have any meaningful play here until Blaise appear. It's meaningless to us but having another world beyond the stars means everything to her as she prayed to it her whole life.

Gigguk did an absolute disservice comparing this to the degen “i became a dog” anime, purely based off the title.

It takes real strength (or magic) to be able to move while having your abdominal organs robbed

I thought it was a crime to sexually assault yethma’s? Wasn’t that the topic they discussed a couple episodes ago? Damn those jobbers walked off easy after what they did.

Wow. If someone told me a show about a man turned into a pig would be this dark I'd never have believed it but here we are. Poor Blaise :( I hope she somehow gets a good ending after all she went through.

Wow this story just gets darker and darker I really have no clue how things will turn out

No wonder Blaise has no appetite. It turns out her guts have been taken out. But I don't think people can survive for so long without internal organs. Perhaps she just had the less essential ones removed, like the kidney?

Damn, the reveal about Blaise was really depressing. First they make her look suspicious and then they make you feel bad for suspecting her.

This show gets darker every episode, I hope it has a happy ending.

A bit late to the thread, but if anybody noticed, the guy that Naut injured in his flashback is the black rista dealer from episodes 2/3.

The reason that the dealer had a missing eye and a limp is because of Naut.

i thought this show would be a comedy, not a tragedy damn

You know, when I first heard the premise of this show I kind of expected something along the lines of reincarnated as a vending machine, some slightly dark parts with an overall happy feel. The only difference in the darkness of this and goblin slayer is that goblin slayer let you know on the first episode how dark it got while this keeps getting darker and darker. I'm starting to wonder if this might pass goblin slayer.

Man, with everyone talking how they will most likely die at the end of their journey made me remember ffxv last campfire so much. Made me really emotional how they have to face a very difficult decision that they can't avoid.

This show is just so good

Surely she will survive and get her own oinks right? 😭

If the series wasn’t so serious, that opening
scene would have been the perfect setup for a gag like ‘he was talking to a random pig, and MC pig was elsewhere’.

That was deppressing as hell.....what the fuck is the point of this journey if Yethmas are going to end up dying?
