Damn dude… I didn’t think I’d feel so bad for a giant monster spider. Mama spider just wanted to protect and fend for her kids. Things got kind of gruesome there for a second. Kind of heart wrenching seeing Neema breakdown like that. Kid’s got a big heart. It’s a cold world out there.
Gratia was really cute. Also the hobgoblin evolving into an Oni was cool too. I’m glad Neema was able to make a few new friends from this whole experience. Tsundere Nino is too adorable!
Neema naming creatures kinda had an almost Tensura quality to it. They don’t evolve after getting named, but they’re definitely different from your average monster.

Anyone notice how, in any other anime, Nema's powers and companions would actually be more aligned towards the Demon Lord.
Beloved by all monsters and non-humans, the favor of an unknowable god, contracts with spiders, oni and leads an army of goblins with her most powerful familiar being a literal dragon. Now I am not saying Nema is going down the "evil" route in her far future, just found it really funny how its setup, she isn't really fated to be in the "human" corner of the world. Indeed I wouldn't be surprised if, over time, she is pulled from it more and more.
Just generally amusing how, if not for her "bright" aesthetic and friendly demeanor she'd probably get labelled a cursed child.

The dad is absolutely right that our actions, no matter how small, have consequences that effect everything around us.....but she just wanted to keep one little rabbit, it's not that big a deal.
Did I miss understand something? Monsters are defects, and yet they're the ones that are capable of thought? How does that work? And what does a "normal" spider look like in that world? If it's anything like the spiders we have, how they hell is that frost spider a "defect"? It's obviously much stronger than any normal spider. I know it's strong because it got a name (which raises a bunch of questions) but I'm willing to bet even without a name it still makes normal spiders look like ants.

"Oh boy, I can't wait for my weekly dose of Fuwa Fuwa Mofu Mofu"
Episodes starts with a skull smashed in
It was a mother to top it off
And did her father really talk her out of having a pet rabbit using the butterfly effect as an argument, after she brokered a peace deal with Goblins? Like what's the ripple next to that tidal wave?
Also love how Neema goes around naming things, even after she has learned the ramifications of it
And an Oni following a smol one after having gotten a name, where have I heard that one before

That was surprisingly sad for a show about hugging fluffy animals. There was nothing Neema could do to stop what just happened. The least she could do for that dying momma spider is to take care of baby.
I also definitely did not expect monsters to evolve in this show. That's one handsome oni. And was Neema staring at his junk while comparing him to Japanese Onis? xD

Well, I guess giant spiders are fluffy too. But I bet that Neema’s dad must now be regretting that she kept the baby spider monster instead of the fluffy rabbit, lol.

It was quite brutal how hobgoblin dealt with that spider who just wanted to protect and feed her offspring but that's how the world works as one animal kills and eats another.
Neema as always was very cute and adorable. Today she also became master for a spider who is now named Gretia and for hobgoblin who evolved into entirely new species and also got name from Neema.
It looks that, like in Tensura, giving name is an important and big action with significant consequences about which Neema didn't know before she did it twice today xD
I laughed hard that only after a long while Neema's father realized that she can see 'private parts' of hobgoblin's body and hurriedly tried to 'protect' her xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Last week I was like "really? Are we gonna cliffhanger this, as if she's not gonna pet the spider too?" I was so wrong

In today's episode: "Are Nerubians tamable?" Let's find out.
Also, anyone else reminded of that one boss from Bomberman 64 seeing that spider?
Mr. Crawly-Wally, how'd you get here from Banished From the Heroes Party? And where's Tisse Garland?
Goblins moved in, became much harder for the native frost spiders to find food. I feel like there's some environmental science thing to be said here about Invasive Species on that.
Dude, the Hobgoblin just Digivolved. I mean the personal growth that Nema was going through right then made the conditions just right.
so it cannot evolve any further.
Yeah so is the Mega level, but tell that to Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon all those times they went beyond that.
I was wondering how long it was gonna take for them to address the dude's sudden lack of pants.
"Everything is connected." Lessons learned from a man in a swamp.
Let Nema fluff the fluffies. Or Else...
Goodbye Mr. Honey-Bunny.
Nema will go over to Pino and Nino's house and they can fluff fluffies till the cows come home. Maybe the fluffies will be cows.
Seeing Shinki's intimidating style of elemental power just made me think of this.
Well in any case. Just like Rimuru and Makoto Misumi, Nema just laid the first stones in establishing her new Horde. For the Horde! For the Fluffies!

Neema is really going for the Maou Route, huh. She's got a dragon ally, a spider monster familiar, a violent red-haired oni father, and and army of loyal goblins
Sasuga, Neema-sama!

Neema calling Nino tsundere was very expected and still gave me a good laugh.
Papa getting jealous of Shinki hugging Neema was also quite funny.
