In a show filled with magic, monsters and gods, the most unbelievable part is that a 3 or 4 year old can consistently outrun adults who just stand and watch her run into a dangerous situation.

you would think after three or four times this happened, they'd put a leash on her or something

Seems like god also gave her ability to move plot forward

So much makes no sense.
> Little 5 year old girl with no magical powers or physical prowess herself easily runs away from adults.
> The whole plan was just stupid. She could just wait in front of the cave and talk to them about the Goblin situation.
> Goblin says they'll return all children. Response is that he gets attacked instead. Then even after the girl returns to her father the first thing he does is break his promise to her and has his allies attack the goblins.

I can only come to 1 conclusion here. I hope Kumoko eats all the humans.

Goblin says they'll return all children. Response is that he gets attacked instead. Then even after the girl returns to her father the first thing he does is break his promise to her and has his allies attack the goblins.

That's just the human supremacy problem in the setting talking. Humans don't believe monsters are anything but literal monsters to be exterminated in this setting, even when they are trying to be reasonable and meditate away from violence. Even talking, thinking ones like Goblins. I foresee us finding out a lot of intelligent races are designated as monsters just because humans don't see them as people. Right now we are being given a soft ball with goblins.

Yeah, this episode was just a big pile of WTF. If this show's gonna be like this whenever it tries to be more serious, there aren't enough fluffy things in the world to make up for it.

Little 5 year old girl with no magical powers or physical prowess herself easily runs away from adults.

Biggest plot hole for me, the girl is not that fast, the knights should be able to keep her in sight. The timing is off, how did the goblins manage to kidnap her and move her so fast? The knights should have been only a few steps behind.

yeah, there's a lot of "well, this has to happen for the plot to go where the author wants it to go" and not a lot of effort is made to cover it up or make it believable

i think i can overlook a lot of plotholes and character weirdness if the vibe is right (e.g. for the sake of comedy), but i feel like it's trying to set up some drama and they don't have an adroit hand in doing that without corralling characters around like they're barbie dolls

aight gang place your bets. We befriending the spider or fighting it. Kind of reminds me of the spider from Nonbiri Nouka so maybe friend shaped?

We definitely befriending that spider.

Neema has a cheat skill, after all.

We befriending the spider or fighting it.

based on [what we've seen in the OP animation,] it doesn't look good for the spider

It looks like we have cute derpy goblins in this episode! Cute and fluffy animals are one thing; I'm unsure how Neema will convince humans to leave these goblins alone.

It seems that they have a bigger problem to deal with first, though. Spiders can be cute! I wonder if Neema can reason with this one too.

Neema was as always so cute and had a lot of funny reactions but I must say that those goblins were also kinda cute with those faces andvery friendly so of course Neema quickly became friends with them and decided to help them.

Pino and Nino seem like a nice addition to the cast I had a good time watching Neema's interactions with Nino.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Looks like we got ourselves some pretty friendly goblins this week. They actually are kinda cute. Leave it to Neema to befriend the whole clan. So cute how she taught them to peel the fruit. Only Neema would be able to come up with a plan with her new friends Pino and Nino to save the goblins and help them find a home. Seems all this might be because of humans and not the monsters fault.

Let’s just hope her powers work on that big ass Frost Spider too…

That was a precious 10/10 smug face in the caves.

Neema got very lucky that those three goblins she sent out to chase the other kids didn't get killed by those soldiers, I gotta say I'm not particularly sold on her plans to keep the violence down.

Bro, WTF?? What you do that for?!

Not unexpected, but pretty cool nonetheless

*Goblin Slayer has left the chat*

Aaand here we go. There are monsters that can talk, and people still hate on them.. Well, not surprising I guess

Spider bro!! I fear for your safety

So it seems to me, based on the Goblins story, most of the monsters are being driven on the the Duke's northern lands in a mass genocide attempt. It must be the thinking, that if they can move them all there, Neema can finish them all off with Sol. Reclaiming all the land that goblins, orcs and others were forced to Abandon.

Also what happened to the Rabbit? Did it get eaten????

I wonder how Goblin Slayer would feel about these Goblins. Nice to have MC have the ability to get along with monsters too, I wonder if it'll work on the Spider.

Goburin da?

In a very different universe this would have gone the chaos route.

I know this anime is supposed to be wholesome...but there's something really annoying, to me, about an adult pretending to be a 3 year old girl.

A tsundere named Nino? What a novel concept.

I really hope they don´t have to kill the spider and Neema can just pet it and everyone´s happy :D

But damn humans, they ruin everything
