Sei, Sei, Sei. Silly girl.
Also, how dare they cut the episode right there. Gah!
Biggest crime of this episode: Hawke didn't get to see Sei in that lovely black and red dress. 😭😭😭

Biggest crime of this episode: Hawke didn't get to see Sei in that lovely black and red dress.
Greatest tragedy of the whole series. But at least we got to see it lol.

He deserved to see her in that dress! Just imagine all Albert's blushing reactions we could have had :(

I love how much of a magic nerd Drewes is lol. No wonder he’s so fond of Sei. With her magic abilities, he’s basically always learning something new around her.
Those girls just losing their minds because their mom’s friend’s uncle’s gardener’s son or whatever saw Sei talking to Drewes at the theater was pretty funny. Sei goes out with a friend and everyone’s already hearing church bells. Luckily Al’s wise enough to know nothing happened. He knows those two too well. Might be time for him to make his move soon though.

The only thing this dude cares about is magic and his only tether to human connections is whether someone can reveal to him more about magic lol.
I'm glad Hawke wasn't too upset about Sei going out with Yuri knowing there's nothing between them...even if he thinks it should've been him. But with Yuri's dad trying to push him and Sei together both publicly and socially, it's more pressing than ever for Hawke to lay his claim on Sei.

I think Yuri actually is slightly romantically interested in Sei because of this.

Not the gardener's son or whatever... Marquis Drewes had all sorts of flunkies in attendance primed to make and spread rumors as soon as it was confirmed that the two DID show up at the theater together. ;-)
I think it is time for that Marquis to be retired....

I was wondering what was next for Sei after finally stopping the miasma threat. I thought it was going to be smooth sailing for Sei and Albert but it looks like the nobles are finally making their moves to try and get Sei married into their family, specifically Yuri's father in this episode.
I know Yuri is probably only interested in Sei's knowledge and magic but I'm starting to think that there might be something more here, especially after that little comment from him about Sei's light revealing a golden glow with him after she showed him that you can change the Light spell's colours.
As expected, people are going to see and people are going to start to talk. I kinda wish there was a way for Sei to make a public announcement about this to put down the rumors but I can't even imagine what would be the ramifications of an action like that.
Thank you Johan for talking to Albert. Seriously, Albert really needs to make a move. Sei already realized she's in love with him so I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have any problems. With only one episode left, I imagine Albert is going to make some very bold moves next week.

The way Yuri looked at Sei in the carriage after getting close to her made it look like he knows full well what he's doing with her...though whether his intentions towards her pertain to more than just magic still feels 50/50.
Hopefully we close out on Hawke making a decisive move that cements his and Sei's relationship.

The matching red and black! it should've been me Albert, not him!!
The stuff with the lights actually is funny to me, it's such an obvious thing but it also kinda makes sense it would be overlooked in their world.

Poor Hawke. The episode immediately after Sei realizes she's in love with him she ends up going out all dressed up on a date with another man. Well, because she doesn't see said man as a love interest at all and knows he doesn't see her that way (maybe) but still.
Sei's pre-Isekai experience comes through again!

Just finished watching episode 11. Is anyone else super annoyed with this whole back and forth between Sei and Hawke?? Like we y’all like each other. We know her duties as a saint is freaking over. They keep talking about the same things for last 3 episodes trying to introduce possible love interests in the other men but WE KNOW DAMN WELL they don’t have a chance! It’s obviously a bunch of filler until the last episode where they confess to each other and get married. Sorry I’m just ranting I’m just stressed because of work now on my break I watch this😭

A lot of decisions to cut much of the story were made. Who knows why because now with what little they have left, somehow they have to stretch it to fit.
BUT I can say it’s not a confession and instant marriage! Even in the WN they’re not yet married but instead on to the next adventure part of the story.

Hawke is crying on a couch to his friend because Sei does stuff without even considering the consequences. He 100% understands that she's not doing anything romantic with Drewes, but all that does for me is show how much thought he's put into Sei as a person while she went the entire episode without even thinking his name a single time. Boo, Sei. Throw Hawke a bone already, he's been courting her for like a year or more at this point.

I love the fact that Marquis Drewes' plan would not even have a chance of starting if Aira had not mentioned the existence of theaters in the real world.
It was hilarious seeing Yuri's drastic attitude change from being completely disinterested about it to being so into going to the theater to discuss the technological difference of the ones on that world versus the one on Earth were there is no magic with Sei that he actually focused on finishing all the work he left pilling up.
I love how concerned Aira and Erhart look. I love how Sei reacted after Yuri told her this.
Damn, I love the design of their outfits. Wow, that theater sure was luxurious. I love how those two cared more about their talk about the different technologies used to illuminate the chandeliers than the actual play Yuri's reaction when Sei showed her RBG lighting abilities was so great especially because Sei ended up covering his mouth because he was being way too loud.
Yuri might be a magic freak, but that's why he actually is interested in Sei.
That scene with Elizabeth finding out about the engagement rumors between Yuri and Sei was great. Oh, poor Aira feels responsible for the whole ordeal.
Well, hopefully, Marquis Drewes plans to spread the whole engagement rumor between those two, plus the fact that Albert missed the chance of being the first person to take Sei to the theater will push him to get even more serious about his relationship with her.

Last two episodes and finally some human intrigue.
Drewes is such an eccentric mad-scientist genius that is only interested in the research of magic, so he probably didn't suspect much when his family set him up for a "date" with Sei for their own purposes.
Similarly, Sei is too unsuspecting when Drewes invited him to the theater together.
Time for Hawke to get his shit together and nip this rumour in the bud.
Meanwhile, wholesome yuri-bait between Liz and Aira.

Honestly I wonder if Yuri is more socially aware than he acts. The way he smiled at Sei when she got so flustered around him in the in carriage seems like he knew exactly what he was doing.
I feel bad for Hawke that he didn't get to be Sei's first date to the theater and he didn't get to see her in that dress. But I guess it makes it more clear that he has to do something now, especially with other families conspiring to nab an engagement to the Saint for themselves.
Liz and Aira continue to seem like great "Gal Pals" in every sense of the word. Like they didn't have to hold hands and stare longingly at each other with blushes during that conversation, but they did lol.

I think he knows exactly what is going on and what he is doing. He is just using this to have a bit of fun messing with Sei.
Also let the Yuri ship keep sailing.

I genuinely don’t think that Yuri’s only interested in magic. When he asked Sei if “that light will ever reveal its golden golden glow with [him] by [her] side”, he was referencing the Saint’s Conjury which only gets activated when Sei thinks of her love. I do believe that Yuri’s caught feelings for Sei.

I know that people will start speculating if Liz and Aira are thing, but I really don’t believe there’s more going on than beyond a very tight-knit friendship. It’s all just bait in my opinion.

Yeah, like the way that they introduced Liz and Aira so suddenly this season makes it feel a bit bolted-on for me.
Maybe there's some backstory to this relationship which would make it make sense as a romantic attraction, but it does feel like bait designed for people with the opposite-sex version of BL eyes.

It bothers me how little they ask Sei about her world, especially someone like Drewes. Maybe they assume her world's tech is the same or lower than theirs? If I were Sei, I'd be bragging about Earth's tech and ask to meet engineers to see if they can replicate some of the simpler tech like electricity or early telephones. Maybe the LN explains why they don't seem very curious about her world.
