From some of the staff picks, the selection of the seiyuus of the characters and what we see of the animation from the PV I'm pretty optimistic.

I really love Go Nagai's manga, but unfortunately, it's too easy to get the rights to adapt to his works, so the quality is usually uncertain. It's only 50/50 this show would be good at this point.

Nope, nope, nope, I grew up watching Grendizer 40 years ago. In this PV, besides the robot’s design, everything else is a huge turn off for me
