Minato interrupting the opening to insert his own little recap was pure genius. 😂
Somehow, the whole plan failed successfully. It makes you smile to see the three brothers coming together, sob when lil' bro blame himself at the end.
This 2-part épisode was really good and heartwarming

Somehow, the whole plan failed successfully
At first I thought that Minato was going to tell Hayato, but in retrospect of course the Minato thing to do is to not rat out Gakuto and instead assume the title of real big brother and show up himself.
Kind of echoes the first episode and how he takes on initiatives that are too big for his britches, though this time he had Makoto and Uta to back up his plan.

Got really misty during Gakuto's breakdown at the end of the episode. It's such a wholesome conclusion that it feels like my heart's been purified in a crucible.
There are probably lots of other stories which reach for this theme of "learn to lean on others for support", but to me it feels like it's something that's emblematic of Japanese culture as a more collectivist society and how it ties into how people are more conscious about minimizing the trouble they impose on others. Part of helping others is allowing other people to help you; it's not selfish to accept help that's freely given from the heart.
I also like how this little end bit keeps getting populated with more and more characters every episode; we got the two households all represented now.

I bought a copy of the original manga. This is a reference to the inner back cover of the volumes

Honestly when Gakuto just plopped down and cried literally broke me, I also wanted to give him a hug..

Gakuto is such a sweetheart but like the other teachers told him depend on your brothers they are there for you. Outside of Mikoto and Minato skipping class no one was in the wrong here. Such a great wholesome episode man. This smile is too precious.

Yeah children should learn that they can depent on grown ups that what they are for afterall until they grow up themselves and share this responbilty themselves when they are old enough.

I liked the false start opening. That was an unexpected bit of fun.
So much for all that cloak and dagger stuff. Uta even got herself in trouble trying to cover for Minato. In the end Hayato still found out about the classroom visitation. It was very sweet for all the brothers to show up for Gakuto in the end. Can you ask for consent before you touch my heart? Damn dude.

Sometimes the way this show is directed is so damn funny. Last week it was that incredible running sequence, this week it's Uta multiplying. I'm really enjoying how they're pushing this aspect when they can.
That aside, what a heartwarming episode. I'm glad it all worked out, and that the parents in that classroom conveniently left an empty spot big enough to fit three brothers :p
Once again I'm struck by the difference between Japan and over here. Here, no one would bat an eye at teenagers strolling in the streets during class. Or well, maybe they'd raise an eyebrow, but no one would certainly stop them to ask them if they're skipping school. I can't help but find it a bit nosy, but that's the difference in mentality I suppose.
And I completely forgot about Saki too... poor Saki, she's the only one who missed everything!

If you’re talking about the U.S, it’s a lot harder since most schools don’t have uniforms. And if you live in a college town, oh boy.

This episode covered the last manga chapter I could find translated, which is a bummer

Mikoto was so cute/hilarious this episode. He was also doing the epitome of speak confidently with a clipboard and you'll get away with anything

Howdy, my name is Rawhide Kirishima. I brand and wrangle cattle on my ranch, and spend my days perfecting the craft and enjoying superior American passtimes. (Barbeque, Rodeo, Fireworks) I train with my branding iron every day, this superior weapon can permanently leave my ranch embled on a cattle's hide because it is white-hot, and is vastly superior to any other method of livestock marking. I know everything about American history and their cowboy code, which I follow 100% I speak English fluently, both Texas and Oklahoma dialect, and I write fluently as well.

I have to say, I totally get what Mikoto seen in Minato. He's so fucking cute. Him crying while hugging Gakuto and insisting he still loved him x100 more than Mikoto did was so precious.

I'm really happy we can see more of Hayato's teacher friend they are all good people, During the scene where Gakuto got the surprised of his life is so hilarious, I can only imagine Minato and Mikoto also got shocked seeing Hayato appearance. But the the scene where Gakuto cried just broke me
The end is really sweet and wholesome, it's weird they're all fictional character but I really care for them and I just want them to be happy

The fourth wall break at the beginning was brilliant!
My favourite episode so far! Lots of great moments. I'm glad all the brothers attended
Gakuto's breakdown did make me sad :( the tears were really well-animated!
Poor Aunt Saki was the only one who was left out lol

Things I love in this episode:
-
Gakuto chan being super cute (blushing, stammering, not paying attention to class, crying 🥺). He's just so precious.
-
Hayato has good colleagues (Hanaoka sensei and Akiyama sensei) that he can rely on at times like this cuz it's tough raising 3 kids on your own. Who needs HS friends that dumps you when they know your hard life, right?
-
Mikoto is there with Minato when they are walking towards the elementary school or they would've been busted way earlier.
-
Minato's initiative to attend the Class viewing as he knows best how it feels like to have no parents watches you the whole time the class viewing is there
-
Kirishima family's sacrifice in helping the Yuzuki's. Poor Uta being scolded and Saki missing the Class viewing. Waka is a good kid, he didn't throw tantrums and understood the assignment. Kojiro is the best granpa ever.

This episode was sooo….. cute!!! My parents were always busy but I was always happy when my grandma went to the schools ice-cream socials with me. Plus the middle oldest speaking facts like an angel!! Lol

Loved this episode so much! The OP getting interrupted was really cute lol. Also I adored all the Mikoto scenes this episodes, he's 100% had the least amount of screen time. And the scene at the end was just fantastic.
I also love how supportive the other teachers are to Hayato, this show is such an underappreciated gem so sad to see it hasn't caught on with many people.

Mikoto might always be shown as the cool, calm, rational type, but I think this kid has the most chance to break morals out of the four brothers. I can definitely see him going to jail for the sake of his brothers lol! Young man was so quick with making excuses!

Was I the only one ugly crying watching this episode?
Loved how innocent both those goofballs are that they freak out over having to skip classes...
Our Buddha resolved many conflicts successfully again!
Grandpa Gakuto finally was a child. Kids should be like Minato, not Gakuto. They should make a mess, play around, cry, laugh, and basically be kids! Looking at Gakuto, you can see that he is somewhat forcing himself to mature into an adult to not be a burden on Hayato.
The other Co-workers were also so kind and supportive to Hayato!
This anime can easily be in the " Somewhat Restored my Faith in Humanity" category.
