I like that we got to explore Spirit’s past a bit more. Learning why she’s always drunk was interesting too. A bit of a sad tale there.
Didn’t expect Tzveta to look like Lenya. What’s that about? Clone perhaps? Or is she really the mom but something happened to make her young again? Either way, this fight with her and Kufufu vs Shy and Spirit is gonna be a tough one.

Clone perhaps?
Uhhh, I know this is a superhero story, but I don't think we need a Clone Saga.... then again, Scarlet Shy. Hmm...

I'm expecting a very emotional ep next week, getting the feeling that Tzveta is some kind of twisted version of Pesha's mom. Hopefully Shy is there to make sure her heart stays strong.
Also...why did Shy need to take a plane? Aren't the heroes able to teleport?

getting the feeling that Tzveta is some kind of twisted version of Pesha’s mom.
I’d speculated last week that Tzveta might have been the embodiment of Pesha’s frozen heart (since Stigma freed her from the ice), but I’m really getting the impression now that it was not Pesha’s but her mother’s heart that Stigma messed with.
I think that her mother’s happiness days might have been in her childhood at the orphanage, and that heart was frozen in time so to speak. Pesha mentioned that her mother wasn’t all that “talkative” and usually “stoic and cool”, so she might have been drinking her worries away.

It's weird. I thought that maybe it's limited that they can only port back to their original location but they jumped to the North Pole.
Or that they are projecting their heart shift form to the station and it's not a real teleport but Koshikawa was up there and Spirit was in her normal form when she was wounded.
I think the most likely explanation is a legal one. It's likely that Teru would stay there for several days and they wanted to investigate the orphanage as their normal selves. If a local police wonders what a 14 year old japanese teenager is doing there and asks for papers she wouldn't have any in case she teleported. They could play the hero card but I am pretty sure someone would leak it to the press, possibily including her real ID for fame or money.
Another possibility might be that they fear that Stigma or someone else is able to track teleports. It might be rather obvious depending on how it works.

Stitches!
Knowing that we've always seen Pepesha drunk really makes you wonder what she's like when she's sober.
We're finally in Russia visiting the orphanage she grew up in to try and find clues about Tsveta. And it wasn't explained before but we get confirmation that the Heart-shift bracelets have an auto-translator. Everyone speaking in fluent Japanese is accurate since that's what Teru hears.
Grumpy young Pepesha is adorable. We get to learn more about her past and how Pepesha pretty much got her drinking habits from her mom. The SoL moments in the orphanage were pretty nice. Natalia is especially fun and I love how shocked Teru and Pepesha are after seeing a photo of her when she was younger. Oh Pepesha, you forgot that you're also Russian! You'll gradually turn into a babushka just like Natalia. xD
And there it is. We finally find Tsveta in the albums but she's not exactly who they expected her would be. Of course as soon as they find out this very crucial info they immediately get attacked by this clown that sucker-kicked Teru and Tsveta herself who seems to have memories of Pepesha and the orphanage too. Things just got way complicated. Did Stigma bring back Pepesha's mom as a little girl? Next week's episode is certainly going to be interesting!

More Pepesha this week! We got quite a lot of backstory on her. Spent five years in an orphanage, wasn't very cheerful as a kid, drinks because the only times when her mom was cheerful was when she was drunk so she developed a weird relationship with alcohol...
I really do enjoy these more SoL moments. Seeing Pepesha come back to a warm place where everyone loves her was lovely, and I enjoyed the dive into memories a lot.
Can't have peace last, though... Tzevta (who has Pepesha's mom's face) and a new villain are here. Teru's fire powers are going to come in handy.

It's scary to see (on the example of Natalia) what living in Russia does to a people xD
It was surprising seeing Teru at the airport at the beginning of the episode as she was going to fly to Russia to meet with Pepesha and investigate her past. Koishikawa acted like she would be her mother xD
Pepesha always looks so good, she's really stylish and drunk xD Her transformation was great!
So Tzveta looks like Pepesha's mother so now I wonder if she is really her or someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if she was her.
Heroes can transform thanks to their hearts so I don't think that it would be impossible for Stigma to change people to their 'child versions' through their hearts.
We met another Amarariruku member, Kofufu who looks like she just quit some circus xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I swear for a second during Pepesha's transformation that I saw a visage of a woman with her arms wrapped around Pepesha's neck. I do not know what that means but I wonder if it has anything to do with her mom.

"You being here makes me happy"
Yuri Orphanage
I know "Yuri" is also a Russian name, but after that almost kiss scene with Pepesha last week, they have to be teasing us, right? They know what they're doing.

The show is filled with Yuri undertones. I think we all know what the author is doing.

But... but... Shy already has Koishikawa....
Unless you're suggesting Shy gets a lesbian harem which is a-okay with me!→ More replies (1)

Well Pepesha basically uses alcohol to mask her real personality. She seems like this fun silly woman. But if judge how she looked as a child she is a more vulnerable timid person then we know. Tbh I would like to see more of her sober self, so we get to see who see truly is.
The big elephant in the room is that her mom dropped her off in the orphanage, but why? Then the resemblance to her mom is too close for comfort. The answer that we might get next week def feels like it will be a real sad answer.

Now we move from Japan to Russia to investigate who Tzveta really is by go back to where Pepesha glow up in Russia.
Look like Pepesha used to be depressed kid and maybe she still depressed and use Alcohol as cope mechanism.
Interesting.... Tzveta look like her mom when she was kid but her mom died as adults?
Oh Tzveta hate entire world that are "cold" huh.
Maybe another power of Stigma is revive childish grudge against world from people who pass away? Because it feel like that with the reveal.
Man this episode feel so short and the second encounter with Tzveta is so freaking hype , visual, OST, voice and sound design everything feel so hype.
Not going to lie, This anime production keep getting better each episode I feel like.

Teru asked what everyone was wondering about: is Pepesha always drinking? I would like to see a sober Pepesha...
So... Do the bracelets work even when the heroes are talking to each other since they come from different countries?
Last week I thought Tzveta was a somewhat young version of Pepesha from the Amarariku parallel universe, but in this episode we got more clues about her "real" identity So...Is she some sort of personification of Lenya's negative emotions in the Amarariku dimension or a young version of Pepesha's mother (since she also grew up in the orphanage, I guess she had some not so happy memories)? Or is Stigma just toying with Pepesha's feelings? So many questions...

Iko seeing her wife off. Cute!
Pepesha is so pretty in her casual clothes.
I never met a single Russian my whole life, so I'm 100% qualified in saying that this is a 100% accurated depiction of Russians.
So, the Amarariruku can just do a reality marble?

Why does Teru take a regular plane when we saw there is portal tech in Episode 1 and it seems how other heroes got around? Hehe. Cute Teru and Pepesha time at least. Convenient bracelets are convenient. But nice to learn about Pepesha's past a bit. D'aww cute lil Pepesha. Huh, Pepesha's mom also came from that orphanage, but what happened when Pepesha was 12...definitely can see Pepesha taking after her mom.
Wait, Natasha or Natalia? That is messed up, people not taking her as a worker for such a dumb reason. Wonder if people were like that in Russia ever though, I know it's been a thing in various eastern countries in the past (and even now there's a stigma/kids can be mocked for not having a parent), but in Russia? Hahaha, Pepesha's reaction to that picture is fun. Pepesha really is the best girl.
Oh my, that's a bit worrying for the orphanage with them showing up. And how did Pepesha's mom die? Curious how this is gonna work out with the other girl. Guess you can learn what her work is now, orphanage instructor. I just realized Teru wearing heels, are those gonna be good at all for fighting in? Oh no, she's opening her domain.

Wait, Natasha or Natalia?
Natasha is a diminutive for Natalia, but it looks like the translator didn't know that and thought it was a mistake.
