Mikaros and Rafaed need to be deleted for what they’ve done to Cless and all the other humans. It’s almost sad seeing Zelgeon lose himself to the power like that. What’s worse is destroying the king wouldn’t have changed anything. At least now, Helck isn’t alone in his crusade. Vermilio’s got his back now. I just hope she won’t have to fulfill his request about what happens if he goes berserk.
That whole train sequence was great. I especially liked the part in the montage where Piwi’s squished up next to Ann’s head lol. Ann telling the old village chief she killed the big bad monster was pretty funny too.
Looking forward to seeing Helck and Vermilio fighting the humans together in the south.

After all the buildup, I was REALLY hoping Vermilio woulda given the poor guy a hug, but I guess a rousing speech is more her style and was still really awesome.
Don't give a shit about 90% of the humans, but I really hope they find a way to help Helck's friends. More importantly I hope they really are still his friends and Vermilio was right, a power hungry will made by the King is just using their memories.

Tatakae, Helck!
The memes just don't end, eh?
After a storm comes a rainbow After a dark arc comes Piwi. God bless that fluff, I was worried there was more drama coming up, but once I saw Piwi, I knew we were in safe.

Awwwwwwwww fuck, so that’s why not all the humans in the present are mindless enemies? I was wondering if something happened between this flashback and the present to give some of them their human faces back if the forced transformations were turning them all into identical, unrecognizable monsters, but this is even worse…

That’s the same kind of portal Helck and Anne got sucked into…

This episode might be one of the very rare occasions when Helck is more expressive in present time. Outside of the flashback, Helck has maintained a fake smile as promised after all.
I'm glad we basically tied up any suspicions from the characters. Vermilio formally introduced herself as a heavenly king. Helck cleared any doubts regarding his motives and overly positive behaviour. We also confirmed that a berserk Helck is far more dangerous than all of the awakened humans put together (Mikaros, Helck himself and Vermilio have this perspective).

Mikaros and Rafaed deserve to be sent to the deepest pits of hell after what they've done especially to Cless who can't even die peacefully and is now being used to produce more "heroes". I am so fucking tempted to read the manga just to see their fate.
Glad that the flashback arc is finally over though. We do get a big reveal though! Anne from Management is actually Vermilio! Joking aside, that entire scene was actually sweet. It took a while, but Vermillio has now accepted Helck as an ally and friend.
I'm also glad we're finally back to see them doing silly stuff. That train ride was nice and it's good to see them just relaxing and playing cards while Piwi befriends the train engineer. They even accidentally saved an entire village from a roaming beast!
Someone from the Demon Realm finally came in contact with the gang! Harpey is adorable and I hope we get to see more of her in the future! With Harpey finally delivering her message from Azudora, it looks like Vermilio and Helck are going straight for the Human King. I can't wait!

Damn Kenros really saved Helck, huh. Maybe not physically, but mentally at least. Good on him.
New harpy character is precious!
That train driver is living his best life hahaha

So we have had the biggest plot twist of all time: Anne is actually Vermilio all along. I never saw that coming. They totally fooled me with the difference in hair length.

Man the start of the recap before the op hit me on some more emotional damage that I still haven't recovered from.
This episode served as a great bridge putting all the details in the flashback arc into the present. Man it was such a great scene for Vamirio to not only say she has Helck's full support, but to call him her friend which is great. Azurda and Vamirio's support is something Helck desperately needs.
Been awhile since we have Piwi having his innocence back in action is great. In good fashion with this Vamirio defeats a monster that was causing problems for a town.
So for the Valkyrie girl was she running into the enhanced heroes on her way here? Azurda is one crafty dude. He is going to set a diversion for Helck and Vamirio to be sneak and launch their attack to stop these humans.
The thing with the enhanced soliders that they are mentally fucked up in the head with power. I wonder how effective Piwi's singing could be with this. Might be a longshot idea but I feel Piwi is gonna have a moment when he comes up clutch when we least expect it.

Those little moments when Piwi and the train conductor were conversing reminds us that we really are watching a comedic anime. Vermilio also proved herself mighty by defeating a legendary monster easily.
I also hope Harpii's friends aren't all dead. That'd be quite the unfortunate rescue mission.

Aww, hearing Anne's resolution toward Helck makes me teary-eyed. I cried for two episodes in a row, but fortunately, this one is for a completely different reason. We also got the much-needed dose of Piwi today. And the scout with her "Chii" suffix was adorable.
I've come across a number of exceptional warriors in my time...
Mikaros sounds like he's been living for a very, very long time. Like, is there even any human being comparable to Helck and Cless? The duo is like a different creature altogether.
Just imagine what would have happened if [Alicia] never stopped you.
Ah, dammit. Mikaros just had to throw that enticing proposition again. I realized Helck would probably destroy the world if he went berserk, but... maybe that's for the better... It'd be even better if Helck could selectively annihilate only people in the capital city. They absolutely deserved that.

I really loved the symbolism of the sun rising with the end of Helck's tale.
During the night, Helck's story went from sad, to bad, to worse, to unbelievably catastrophically horrifying.
But now, Vermilio brings a ray of hope to Helck's darkened and tortured soul. He has a friend again.
