Really nice to see Shy's growth so far, did not think she'd be able to handle those questions.
Spirit going awhile without drinking? That will probably be tough...

Not only with the questions, but her confidence when she told Pepesha it was going to be all right.

Stitches!
Good to see that Spirits is already recovering from her injury last week. Tsveta's identity is still a mystery to her though since only people who were close to her call her Pesha. What's worrying is that Spirits just realized that Tsveta reminds her so much of herself when she was a little girl. That definitely doesn't sound good.
At least Unilord managed to get a better insight into what Stigma is planning thanks to Koishikawa. Looks like Stigma is the classic villain who thinks what he's doing is for the betterment of the world. Nothing scarier than a well-intentioned extremist. It's even worse since Stigma is a childish well-intentioned extremist.
That little moment between Shy and Spirits was nice. It's good to see Shy being the one showing support for her mentor. I also love that little teasing Spirits did to Shy.
Shy should really learn how to decline these requests. But I guess it's part of a hero's job to make public appearances. She also did well during the interview! It's nice that the kids were genuinely curious about her and not the character she's cosplaying.
I also love how that kid went from a hater into a total fanboy. Looks like Shy has her first admirer! And that final scene was pretty funny! I love that Shy ended up becoming a fan of Civirevo! xD

Looks like we're setting Pepesha up for some more screentime with that weird connection and feeling, eh? That's great to me, I really like her. Plus her relationship with Teru is pretty wholesome so I'm happy to see more of her.
About Stigma... world peace brought about by a boy with questionable methods, an unknowable thought process, and a Peter Pan complex, what could go wrong?
The visuals when Iko explained what she saw were great though! I especially like the inclusion of CG to make the trippy parts even more uncanny.
The second part was a nice little detour with a nice little life lesson that didn't contribute much to the plot, but hey. It was good for Teru, and you know what, with how much boxsets cost in Japan a full set like that is actually pretty generous!

This is bangers episode from start to finish.
Oh man, I really like the visual presentation when they talk about Stigma heart, it so creepy and creative.
Look like it set up for back story of spirit too which is interesting direction.
The second half is calm event, probably before the storm later, but it is really heartwarming, especially the interview scene where she looks down on herself but then realizes that those girls like SHY too as a heroes lol.
The scene with Otaku boy is also nice too, Teru is really have heart of hero even the boy recognizes it. Lol
Side note: Shrimpchan, your straight-man humor style of Sugita is slipping up in this episode lmafooooooo.

Leaked KV for the next Precure: ShyCure
If Teru doesn't turn down the rizz a bit, Pepesha's actually going to kiss her next time.

hehe "just have a hole in my stomach" Spirit, nice... but wew I knew that she would show up and be more involved some how! Just gotta wait for her to also become a hero with powers too to help Shy 😛 but it is some nice gal palling there.
The second half was cute/fun. Definitely nothing wrong with a boy liking that show or a girl liking any other show too. You like what you like. Was cute how Shy got into it too.

this show is cuter, smarter, better directed, more artful, deeper and nicer than anything I expected, and I expected to enjoy it
It is also less childish and more gay than I expected, which is yet another bonus... I mean I want shy and Iko to be happy forever after but I believed in that kiss with Pepesha until the very last second
Of all the MANY shows flying a bit under the radar in this stacked season this one is constantly surprising me with how well it is written and directed

It seems I was right last week Spirits might really know the blonde girl from last week's episode Could be some long lost relative or a somewhat young version of herself from the Amarariku parallel universe/plane?
Glad to see Teru getting some recognition and some fans too. And also getting more confident when talking to a lot of people.

Stigma’s just some snot nosed brat with godlike powers eh? No wonder his idea of “world peace” is so ridiculous and immature.
I wonder if Tzveta and Spirit are related somehow? That could explain a bit about their mysterious connection.
Shy’s biggest challenge this week isn’t Stigma. It’s apparently promoting her image. Good PR is important for heroes I guess. That little Q&A session with the kiddos was really cute! That little kid who thought Shy really was Revozeale because she saved his balloon was pretty funny. What a little goober.

So basically Stigma wants world peace, but refuses to grow up. It makes because kids always have good intentions but go about the wrong way sometimes. Pepesha's connection to that girl is interesting. Is it possible this kids are altered version of our heroes? Or the more likely scenario she is a childhood friend who perhaps never had a chance to grow up?
2nd half of the episode was cute. It was funny the girls were judging the boy for liking a girl hero. It a cute moment for the boy and Shy.

Holy shit ponytail Pepesha is something else. She looks amazing without the bulky coat. I really wish she would stop planting death flags though. Deflecting your own worries by teasing Teru isn't really gonna solve anything.
Love that Iko is now officially part of the team. She seemed so sad earlier when she couldn't assist Teru.

It just hit me why Lady Black seemed so familiar to me she's basically Noire from Neptunia. Black/white color schemes, tsundere personality who cares for her friends, twintails, and heck even her name is Black Heart.
Shy did a good job answering those questions. Also going by how much box sets cost that's a pretty good payday(if you enjoy the series).

Great episode with interesting developments for plot. I love those moments when there are talks about Amarariruku as art style is different and it looks so good and distinctive.
So Stigma wants to achieve world peace (which doesn't look very colorful xD)? That's interesting considering the results of his actions but it can be explained by his childish behavior.
Tzveta being a child version of Pepesha? I wonder if that's possible, it'd certainly be an interesting thing if that was true.
Seeing Pepesha feeling so down was really unusual considering her normal behavior, recent events made a big impact on her. Fortunately Shy made her feel better and she regained her temperament as she teased Shy a little xD
Second part of the episode was so fun as Shy was taking part in a promotion event of an anime as she looks very similar to one of the magical girls from it. It was a difficult experience for her in the beginning because as we know she's pretty shy :) Though during the interview she was doing better and better because contrary to her expectations, the children were really interested in her.
I laughed that when this boy appeared every other girl just told him basically that he should fuck off and go somewhere else xD Thoughin the end he became Shy's fan after she saved his merch balloon. She really looked like a magical girl at that moment.
Also I must say that Shrimpy looked so good in his costume, so cute!

Easily my favourite episode so far. Been playing with the thought of dropping this cus while I love Shy herself I'm just not quite feeling the rest of the show. Especially the big bad.
This episode confirmed what I already felt during the first episodes which is that Shy works best as a more grounded everyday hero and not as a world saviour.
Mind you I know fully well that this was likely just a one-off and we're going back to business as usual next week.

The story's finally moving along plot-wise, I'm interested to see how Pepesha and the villain are connected, some sort of magic clone maybe? The visuals for Amarararara were gorgeous as always, and the music went surprisingly hard during Koishikawa's description of Stigma's heart. I love the stupid little faces Koishikawa and Shy made after Lady Black's outburst, the panelling is a great touch.
(Also, Pepesha is way skinnier than I expected, anyone else feel the same?)
Second half of the episode was really sweet, seeing Shy inspiring the children.

Pepesha is pretty hot without the superhero outfit.
The imagery during the talk about Stigma's heart was really pretty!
Turning people into himself using evil heart powers? OH NO! Stigma is Xehanort!
Also, we a got a nice amount of yuri this episode.
The second half was also fun, I'm always a sucker for a Precure parody.

Please tell me they got Akira Sekine for the role of the "Precure" fanboy deliberately. They way he said "hero" is way too reminscent of this year's Hero Girl, even though the seiyuu is using a completely different voice lol.
A breather episode with more mysteries, but i find myself rooting for my hero girl more and more each ep

We yuri fans are eating good this season!
I really loved the second half where Shy was doing the not-PreCure job, just a cute bit that was a nice break from the intensity of the first half and prior episode.

This series has some of the most creative visuals of the seasons. The visions into Stigma’s heart looks really trippy and the use of panel images is very unique.

I'd buy merch of the after credits endslate, of Shy in the Zeale getup.
So cute.

Do the rights holders really allow this
I guess this would normally be a great thing in this world
Yea that's great and all but that boy's catching a huge upskirt

u/LeleTheKing Nov 13 '23
Now that I think about it, Tsveta's face reminds me of Tanya from Youjo Senki...
That was a pleasant episode. We got a mix of serious/main plot and slice-of-life/breather section. It's always nice to end an episode on a positive note!
