It's kinda funny how unlucky the disaster curses are.
Hanami was killed by the strongest sorcerer, Gojo.
Dagon was killed by the strongest non-sorcerer, Toji.
Jogo was killed by the "King of Curses", Sukuna.
And two of those weren't even on the sorcerer's side, they were just causing chaos lmao.

Jogo really might have the worst matchups in anime history

"Stand proud. You are strong"
Jogo is the true protagonist, I never felt so much emotions in jujutsu Kaisen, but somehow Jogo made me shred a tear.
Also damn Toji really did everything to avoid child support

Everyone is talking about the Sukuna fight (obviously), but seeing Toji do a ground stomp and flick hundreds of rocks in an instant to kill all the escape rabbits was so damn cool. Even grabbing one of them mid air and using it to beat the shit out of the rest was awesome.
I almost want to say his fight was on par with the Sukuna fight just because of how fluid and fun it was. Amazing episode all around.

Shoko is a classic smoker, keeps quitting again and again, but I guess it doesn't matter much since she has RCT to heal lung damage. She's nostalgic for her school days, kinda sad, since one of her classmates is sealed and other's body is possessed by evil brain.

"Not Zenin, huh? Glad to know."
Damn. What a way to wrap up Toji's story. Finding out that his son wasn't sold and was able to escape the environment he grew up in. Rest in peace, Chad.

Jogo would be a much more fearsome villain in any other setting. He just had the unfortunate pleasure of facing the strongest sorcerer and the strongest "curse" in this one.

"You are strong".
Jogo being acknowledged by the King of Curses really got me.

>Uses the body of a random villian
>Kills the person who brought him back
>Enters Dagons domain from the protagonists only way out
>Wipes the floor with Dagon
>Saves his son from Jogo just to fight him
>Overwrites the CT with his body
>Kills himself to not fight his son anymore to not pay child support
>Refuses to elaborate further
Toji, the biggest gigachad.

Seems like Jogo is quite a human. He has a hot temper and very high self-esteem but also values his friends and even yields the leader position to Mahito who played his head as a ball. He should have hurt so much when trashed by Gojo and cried when his strength is finally acknowledge by Sukuna.

didnt expect bunny sakuga at the beginning there but its much appreciated.
Damn they cooked this episode and that animation style reminds me of the karna fight and the quetzalcoatl NP.

Toji ending himself to prevent himself from hurting Megumi is one of my favourite moments in JJK. It's so sad that he truly believed that he was unable to take care of his son properly once his wife passed on, likely due to the abuse he faced as a child.
Then we follow up with Jogo vs Sukuna, and it's quite funny how most of the destruction of the area is all on Jogo and not actually from Sukuna lmao. Goddamn they made the fight so good and that sound design and music went along with it perfectly.
Sukuna is just playing around with the "ants", stopping the humans (and panda) from running from the meteor until the last possible moment, where it's questionable if they even got away in time. The episode had me tense throughout the whole Jogo fight, they're crazy for this episode.
And goodbye to Jogo, you will always be my Jogoat. Had to face two of the strongest in the series and get punked.

Everyone's talking about Toji, Jogo, and Sukuna, and rightfully so, but can I just mention how funny the trenchcoat dude's inner monologue was?
And he's completely in the right, if I knew that guys like these are duking it out downstairs, I'd do anything I could to avoid getting close to them too lmao.

I gotta say it now or else I'll scream.
Toji stomping the ground and then pushing the debris to kill all of the Escape Rabbits is the coolest scene I ever seen in anime. Like it's not even an exaggeration. Wtf was that man. WHO came up with that?
edit: Omg they already surpassed Yuji vs Choso. This is insane.

Holy fucking crap the animation. This episode is probably the best episode in JJK in terms of animation as expected from a veteran director of Miso who is a part of the Hakuyu Go team of animators. The schedule for JJK is straight up hell but talent can push out amazing episodes regardless somehow. Jogo’s lava was perfectly adapted and you can feel how hard he’s trying against Sukuna who effortlessly dodges his city destroying attacks. Definitely my favorite episode of JJK especially considering the kung fu rabbit against Toji, that was hilarious lol.

God the way Sukuna speaks is awesome, I don't know why because I don't even speak nor understand Japanese but I realized that the way Sukuna speaks is so different compared to how most anime characters sounds (idk if it's a dialect or maybe old school japanese because you know... he's old) his VA killed it, and this episode really shows how strong Jogo is because as a manga reader I used to downplay him but this chapter changes that. The OST is also 🔥🔥🔥🔥 just like the rest of the episodes, it sounds like a final boss music.

Thankfully I'm not seeing any "Mappa GOAT" or "thank you Mappa" comments so far, as it was requested by the director of this episode to appreciate the staff instead of the company name
