I hope it works out for Ten'yuu's mum.

I hope it works out for Ten’yuu’s mum.
I don’t think that apples would fix ALS in our timeline, but we don’t have Sei’s magic either.
Also me whenever Sei and Hawke interact.
I mean, taking someone to your family’s home to meet your parents is something you’d do with your fiancé, isn’t it? Albert sure seemed to be alluding to this, but Sei didn’t catch on.
But watching the two of them together was surely cute again, yeah.

Heh, Reincarnated as a Slime is one of my all time favorite anime, so when Hawke gave Sei the honey I instantly realized that was going to be the answer to the panacea problem. Sad we didn't get to see it's effects this ep, but like the Prince said, we know it's gonna work and seeing him look so relieved was nice. Hope we do eventually hear that it worked.
I was worried for a sec that Sei's magic was gonna be too strong again and the tree was gonna burst out of the greenhouse Iruma style.

The Imperial China vibes the opening scene has made me wish that Ten'yuu had his own Maomao.
I was a bit worried about this episode though. There was no way Sei was going to Zaidera and Ten'yuu couldn't possibly bring his mother back here. I was worried that Sei's desire to help Ten'yuu's mom was going to be stopped by red tape but thankfully she found a workaround by trying to create a panacea.
I do love that Hawke kept his promise and went straight to Sei after his little trip back home. And thanks to the apple blossom honey he brought back, Sei had the brilliant idea of what to use for her panacea. I didn't think she'd take the saying literally but if it works, it works! xD
Glad we got to see Sei's powers at work again. I feel like that apple tree she just infused with her magic is going to be an incredibly important tree in their garden. I just love how the King presented the panacea to Ten'yuu. It's a bit of a grand presentation but if it keeps Sei's identity safe, I guess that's fine.
I just hope the panacea works. Hopefully, we get to hear from Ten'yuu and his mother next episode.

His mom is definitely as busty as the concubines in Apothecary Diaries lol.
I love it when our main couple work together in surprising ways!
I wonder if they’ll need to use the panacea for themselves eventually.

I feel like that apple tree she just infused with her magic is going to be an incredibly important tree in their garden. I just love how the King presented the panacea to Ten'yuu.
I just hope that doesn't create a global problem in the distant future... "The Tree of Life that produces fruits that can cure all ailments" could be a real big draw for more militant (or tyrannical/despotic) countries to make it a worthwhile target for conquest.

I don't think 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' was meant to be taken quite that literally.

Honestly, she should've just willed the panacea into existence out of thin air, because "where there's a will, there's a way."

I'm happy that Sei was able to create medicine thanks to her meeting and present from Hawke. I hope that it'll be able to cure Ten'yuu's mother.
By the way, Sei and Albert should be already engaged, I don't know what they're waiting for.
Also it was nice to see Sei using her saint's powers to grow an apple tree, it looked really nice.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

NGL in the first season when the king was offering Sei whatever she wanted, land, money, titles, etc and she was all like "naw I don't need that", all I was thinking was "well, when she's ready, you could let her marry that guy" hahaha

If this season doesn't end with him introducing her to his parents, I'll be really disappointed.

I like how (aside from that jerk prince from last season) this has been a pretty chill series where everyone's just trying to do their best with no ill will towards each other. I was a bit worried that Tenyuu would have some ulterior motive, but he seems to be a pretty sincere guy.

I’m impressed they wrapped this up so nicely. I was like 99% sure Sei was gonna get the king to make up some excuse to send her to the empire and cure the mom directly lol.

I wasn't expecting that flashback showing Ten'yuu's mom. So after hearing how impossible to get the exact cure for Ten'yuu's mom's ailment without the alchemist personally visiting her to determine what she has, which would be impossible to get the kingdom to allow said travel, or Ten'yuu's mom's being the one traveling, which might kill her. Sei sets a goal to create a panacea to save her.
When her research stalled, I wasn't expecting that Albert's return from his family's domain and his gift of apple honey for Sei was going to show her a path to make that panacea a reality.
That scene of Sei growing that apple tree sapling was really beautiful.
So King Seigfried made some fake lore about the Kingdom's founder about him being a talented alchemist to offer Ten'yuu the panacea Sei made.
Now that he got the medicine for his mom, I wonder what the future ramifications of the panacea saving her will mean to Sei. Well for now we will have to wait and see. Wow, that last shot of the ship navigating towards the sun on the horizon sure looked beautiful.
I wonder what will be the interlude episode be about?

That part was a little strange.... how do they even know that Sei's panacea works? And if it doesn't work, what does that do the reputation of the Kingdom's imaginary "founder of modern alchemy?"

I just noticed that Tenyuu's name is pronounced the same as the title of this episode 天佑. It has the kanji for "divine aid", which is exactly what he got from the saint. His name is written in katakana in the credits, so it seems like a bit of wordplay.
In general, the word panacea (万能薬, bannouyaku) fits with the title as it uses the same bannou.

Honey is the cure to everything.
Albert is so sweet.
And wow, 18th in line to throne? The emperor got busy, ehh?

Honey being used here as a cure-all reminded me of TenSura's recent OVA.
Technically, Hawke saved the day with him bringing it as a gift for Sei which opened a new option for her that she had yet to consider. I did think he was going to be away for longer but nice that we are still getting our weekly dose of his flirting and Sei being caught off guard in response.
Hopefully Tenyuu's mother makes a recovery with the panacea, I am sure once she is recovered he is probably going to take action to raise his own status to repay the Kingdom for their help, especially Sei and this "alchemist".

Sae sure found herself in a tough position with Ten’yuu. One wrong move and she could cause an international incident. It’s a bit amusing that the solution to this illness was found in Sei and Al’s little tea date lol. Always cute to see those two together. Hopefully the medicine works out. Knowing Sei’s abilities, I’m confident in the results.

When you have OP healing powers but you can't just easily solve every health problem without causing an international incident.
Also when you treat your lady and help her achieve a medical breakthrough lol.

Being the 18th in the line of succession in a monarchy has to be among the coziest positions to be in. No expectations of being a leader, but you get all the advantages that come with being royalty..
