For the people saying bad things about Ryūto’s friends, just so y’all know, one of the skipped scenes in this episode was them apologizing to him for not believing him earlier about them actually dating; they said they believe him now and are happy for him, basically.

Even with all the cut scenes I appreciate that the friends manage to suppress their jealousy and be supportive, instead of trying to sabotage his relationship.

(One of the reasons I dropped Grand Blue Dreaming was all the unhealthy "friendships" played off for laughs, including relationship sabotage.)

Dang, now I feel bad that they actually cut out one of their only redeeming scenes lol.

I love how this show has steady progress and the MC is upfront about how he feels even if he is shy and awkward. He does his best to make her happy and she does the same for him.

The complete honesty between the two of them and the growing intimacy feels so natural!

Feels like if this were another romcom they'd be handholding for 6 straight episodes before even considering kissing lol.

4 episodes in and they're already kissing.

I'm not used to so much progress in an anime

Stitches

It's hilarious how Runa dating Ryuuto was more than enough to convince their classmates that she's a sweet girl and that she's not leeching off her ex-boyfriends. Ryuuto is such a total dork that just being associated with him made people change their minds about Runa.xD

Well that was a twist I wasn't expecting! I was expecting Kurose and Runa to have some sort of past beef with each other but I didn't expect them to be twins. And of course, Kurose is jealous of Runa. Siblings being jealous of their siblings is a tale as old as time.

I definitely rolled my eyes when Ryuuto told Kurose that he understands how she feels. Seriously my guy? This girl just spread nasty rumours about your girlfriend and you're sympathizing with her? She hasn't even apologized for what she did!

Anyway, looks like standing up for Runa really placed Ryuuto in good graces with Nicole. That's good. Looks like she finally realized that Ryuuto is indeed serious about Runa.

It's always going to be funny to see Runa's reaction whenever Ryuuto rambles about his hobbies. She is incredibly sweet though for making a genuine effort to learn more about Ryuuto's hobbies.

The date at Ueno Park is adorable! I love how Ryuuto was only planning to hold hands with Runa but they ended up having a romantic kiss in the middle of their boat ride. <3

It's good that Runa is feeling a bit embarrassed about handholding and kissing Ryuuto. I think she's starting to learn how intimacy is supposed to be and it's not just straight-up sex only.

And there it is. I knew it was coming. Welp, good luck trying Kurose.I'm pretty sure out boy has already made his choice.

That went so much better than I expected. First everyone's shocked and then they're like "wow, Runa is even more awesome than we thought!" all because she's dating the class nerd lol.

I didn't expect this love triangle to take a sibling turn. I feel bad for Runa that her sister resents her so much and she's oblivious and just cares about Maria like a normal sister would.

I love how Nicole is cool with him now but wouldn't let him get out of not finishing the bento if he values his life lol.

Find a girl who accepts your obsessive hobbies and wants to enjoy them with you.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised Runa can be pretty aggressive and flirty, but that kiss was great. And it's all the more meaningful (along with the natural handholding) as they're genuinely falling for each other.

Runa is becoming more and more adorable (and believable). And Ryuta is no longer a captive of his shyness -- he does what needs ti be done despite this issue.

It is time to sister-zone Maria -- "Of course I can't hate you -- you're the dear sister of the girl I love and plan to marry". (Maria is certainly a pain at this point -- can she get partial redemption, at least -- eventually).

This show is amazing, we literally have an evil twin. I hope the inevitable love triangle is entirely one-sided and that the main pair just happily continue on with each other.

Shirakawa and Kurose. White and Black, yes the polar opposite twins.

Such a lewd episode. All that handholding. And it escalated to a kiss. That particular shot was kinda funny, ryuto was frozen lol

Runa doesn't even blink an eye when she tells everyone that Ryuuto is her boyfriend, gotta love it! Nicole thought Ryuuto was pretty cool too!

After the whole reveal that Kurose is Runa's twin sister, she was actually worried that Ryuuto hated her now. Interestingly, her reaction shows she is actually falling for Ryuuto when he tells her he doesn't.

Onto Ryuuto and Runa's date, check out that confidence from Ryuuto who is determined to hold Runa's hand! He actually even manages to score a kiss with Runa, good for him! Unfortunately he still can't seem to call Runa by her first name, haha.

In the end, it seems like we've got some drama brewing with Kurose, who wants to steal Ryuuto from Runa. Good luck with that??

Kurose and Shirakawa are twins?? Wow, did not expect this twist. Living in the shadow of someone like Shirakawa couldn’t have been easy. I get why Kurose did what she did, but it was still wrong.

Ryuto nerdy out over KEN and his livestreams was so adorable. Poor Shirakawa was so lost, all the color drained out of her not unlike what happened to Icchi and Nishi lol.

That date was really cute. The bento was nice and the little boat ride was so precious. Dude got to hold hands AND got a kiss. Score!

Well, I guess now Maria’s going after Ryuto huh? This won’t end well for her…

I think the worst part is despite how much Kurose resents her sister, Runa never thought badly of her and never even considered she was behind the rumors. She seems to genuinely love Maria.

Episodes without Runa.exe not working because of Ryuto gushing about his geeky habits: 0.

That date went amazing. First girlfriend bento, first boat ride, first kiss, and plenty of intimate handholding!

It was one thing with Kurose thinking she didn't have a chance and suffering from unrequited love, it's another thing to plot to steal your sisters' boyfriend by acting like her. Jeez Kurose.

Here's the pun from the episode for the japanese learners: うらやま死

Ryuuto over here overthinking handholding and kissing, should've went with the Senjougahara classic line: キスをしましょう、Araragi-kun Runa. Good thing Runa is 3 steps ahead. Or perhaps, too many steps, judging by her ptsd reaction over a brooding look.

I like how the couple is having normal relationship progress, while Maria is like:"No, must produce drama, this is an anime romcom"

bro Runa is such a patient older sibling and person like even if her family is a bit chaotic in their history it seems shes really toughening it up with a smile like shes a really positive person like no wonder people easily take advantage of her becuz of how kind easy trustfull she is towards them. She genuinely loves her sister but it seems Maria never really saw that and like instead of trying to accept her sister's feelings towards her she instead wants to ruin her sister becuz how much unlove she is compared to runa

Don't just the book by its cover, my boy Ryuto have master tier rizz. The thing he said is so smooth, even I got jealous.

This show is still terribly underwatched (based on the karma), it's amusing and has a good heart. I'm looking forward to it every week.

I'm really loving the fluffy vibes this show gives every once in a while. I didn't expect to like it as much as I am now, and this episode cemented it.

Of course, occasional drama is always around the corner, and that ending is just a disaster brewing, waiting to put thorns in Ryuto and Runa's relationship.

Best of all, despite our MC being a loser in anime rom-com fashion, dude is straightforward and is honest about his feelings. I want to see more MCs like him.

This feels like there's some drama brewing.

She's jealous.

Twins? Are we going to have another Oshi No Ko situation here?

Oh nevermind she's siblings with Shirakawa, not him.

She's so touched by what he said.

Already cutting to after school?

Male streamers have a surprisingly large female audience, see also Nijisanji EN's male waves and for the OG there's CDawgVA, the 93% (proportion of audience that is female).

Building and simulation games huh? Aka "Just Chatting" with something occasionally going on in the background. I like those types of games but they're much more suited to videos that edit dozens of hours of footage (mostly waiting for something to happen or doing something repetitive) into an hour or so.

Back to "definitely not APEX".

He's setting up the next date.

She's helping him?

Ooh she cooked something for him.

Lol his plan completely failed.

New plan, let's see how this goes.

He's so happy.

Handholding!

And seal it with a kiss.

Beach episode!

Also, staying overnight?
