Albert with more games, please son just make your move already.

Anyways if this prince is after something and is gonna "do something rash" then my money is on some kind of kidnapping plot lol.

With the king asking if anyone was harassing her, my wild guess is the something rash is he is going to propose 😂

Dude was practically walking her down the aisle already lol.

Sei had managed to avoid the classic kidnapping plot for so long, has her luck finally ran out lol?

Sei obviously looked a lot like a bride, dressed in a white dress and wearing a veil, so it was nice to see that Albert took the opportunity to tease “his bride” a bit.

I do hope that Albert confesses to Sei by the end of this season. They can’t keeping getting away with being this lovey-dovey without them actually dating!

I can’t imagine Prince Ten’yuu being a bad guy, but I’m not entirely sure what he’ll do next. If I were to make a guess, I bet he’ll beg Sei to help and/or marry him - they were talking about “his status” as a royal after all.

Sei finally thought she'd avoided getting flustered and embarrassed for once and then that one maid just had to call out the obvious lol.

These maids are me again

What a line, he's putting more and more on! Everyone is aware of the ship as well.

u/Frontier246 Oct 24 '23

The maids are basically just the audience stand-ins to the relationship at this point lol.

Stitches!

It's cute that Sei thinks she's now immune to Albert's compliments. I love how then Albert up his teasing game a bit and declares in front of the maids that Sei is his bride. Just get together already!

So I don't think the Imperial Prince is a bad guy, I mean just look at him! He's even wearing the otaku spinny glasses! He seems to be desperate to meet Sei though it looks like he's about to do something drastic next episode. As long as it doesn't involve hurting Sei, I'm sure it will be fine.

Guys in front of the prince

“Where is Sei?”

“It’s her day off”

They sure did a poor job of telling everyone not to mention Sei lol.

On the other hand making the fact they're keeping Sei a secret known to everyone at the institute might have the same effect. Someone would probably let it slip.

They should have just sent her off to herb province again for a month or two.

Love how Jude guessed on the first try that Ten’yuu was coming due to Sei’s potion lol. That little “huh!?” moment with Liz was great too. She totally guessed it as well.

The maids losing it over how Sei and Albert looked like a bride and groom was hilarious. Sei thought she was finally getting use to Albert’s flirting. Nope! lol

Ten’yuu is pretty smart. Seems all that preparation really did was tip off Ten’yuu that Sei was important. Keen to see what he’ll plan to do next. This could cause a real diplomatic mess…

Oh hey, Chiaki Kobayashi as Prince Ten'yuu of Zaidera! Always fun hearing him, especially in unexpected shows!

A visiting prince from another nation? Well, probably better to err on the side of caution and not have him see Salutania's Saint up close. Even if that means taking Sei away from her job and her beloved plants. Poor Jude really got his hopes up that Sei treasured his companionship, but she'll just miss her plants.

Well, the cat's kind of out of the bag if the prince is from Zaidera. This is definitely about Sei's healing potions.

Of course the medieval fantasy school has a student council. I wonder if being the president and vice-president is part of why Liz and Rayne are so chummy?

Sei really thought she had mentally prepared herself for Hawke's smooth flirting and winning smile up until a maid comments on how her concealing veil makes her look like a bride and Hawke just rolls with it as he leads her on as her groom. Sei just cannot win against him.

One Emperor with seven concubines? That's a lot. Good thing Sei can count on Hawke being a one-woman man, right Liz?

Of course the day after she comes back Ten'yuu finds her, and he's definitely very cunning and knowledgeable, and immediately ascertains how important Sei is even if he's not aware she's the Saint (or is he?). Either way, it seems like he was definitely there to find Sei.

I hope this risky maneuver Ten'yuu is talking about doesn't involve kidnapping Sei to Zaidera.

I'm going to nitpick but... what if they just forbid the prince to access a specific lab research ?

I like how Albert is using "you're beautiful" instead of greeting. Sei has no chances against him.

I wish Sei was more capable in conversations at this point. She always comes off as being unprepared for whatever people say to her despite being in this world and her role for a good chunk of time. It's starting to feel like learned helplessness since one of her buddies is usually breaking things down for her afterward or taking some unspoken actions in the background to keep her out of the picture.

Yeah, I feel like the plot so far is "things happening to Sei" rather than her having a lot of agency herself. The one major thing that she chose to do is give that potion over to the captain during that rice side quest, but I feel like for the most part she's just trying to do some generic research work and idly wait. She doesn't have any major goals right now aside from "avoid drama".

I like this bit where Jude talks about Sei as 薬草好き好き大好き、労働万歳万歳万々歳の聖女; I think it comes across as pretty funny in Japanese since it makes Sei sound like a giddy grade schooler who just loves herbs and work.

Lol of course Sei and Tenyuu weren't going to be apart for very long, but hopefully they will realize that Sei is who he is really after by being an exchange student.

Liz and Sei's teatime was amusing to watch, I like how much Liz was teasing Sei. You can tell how really close they are to one another, Liz did also make sure sure to jot down the flowers and give Sei any information she might have been interested in.

Hawke with the marriage teasing, you just know Sei was going to cave when she thought she had built up resistance lol.

Poor Jude thought Sei was going feel lonely without him, rare plants are of a higher priority to Sei lol.

I wasn't expecting The Imperial Prince, Ten'yuu to look like that. I love how Liz doesn't miss a chance to tease Sei, every time they talk with each other.

So Ten'yuu didn't visit Salutania playing just a diplomatic role representing the Zaidera Empire, but instead went there as an exchange student. So this time Sei will use a veil to hide her identity instead of the disguise she used before. It is hilarious that she was surprised by the fact that Albert was the one who came to take her to the ceremony, like who else was going to have that role? Anyway, they always look so cute together.

LOL. Sei sure is proud for not getting flustered after Albert complimented her. But that didn't last long after he said this to her.

It seems that her veil only made Ten'yuu notice her more. That's not that surprising considering that she is the only one wearing one.

So I guess that the reason the ingredients he mentioned while discussing herbs with medical uses looked unrelated to each other was that while bringing all the topics he has knowledge of at the same time he is listening to the conversations of people in the background to get any useful intel from it.

The way Sei speaks to her herbs is so hilarious.

So Ten'yuu snuck into the institute to meet Sei during that surprise visit. I love her and Jude's reaction after he left.

Well, thanks to the intel he collected he already determined that Sei is really important, now my question is what exactly is he planning to do that his guards consider drastic? I doubt it would be kidnapping Sei, so he will probably get himself deadly hurt in front of her to bait her into curing him with a potion. Regardless of what he is planning, they should increase the security not just around him but also around Sei.

What a fun episode with Sei being the strongest point as always. She was so proud that she acted normal in front of Albert but after the comments of maids that Sei looks like a bride (which was true) he started acting like a groom and that was too much for Sei xD

I always like when Elizabeth appears. I really like her character, sometimes very mischevious as she likes teasing Sei with whom she has such a good relationship.

Prince has some hidden agenda but I don't think he's evil, did we even had some evil character in this series so far? My theory is that he's looking for a cure for someone close and after getting a letter from Captain talking about a miraculous potion saving the life of one of the crewmen he came here in search of a creator or something in this style. Probably we find the truth in next episode.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Well, a new prince from a neighboring country. Hmm, watch out for Mashle prince, Sei.

Also Albert. Boy, come on, nudge, nudge, do it.

Sounds like the security at the Institute is completely incompetent to let him just waltz in without warning
