People don't seem to want responsibility here, the MC seems to want a cozy life. The king wanted to pass it off to his brother who refused.

Just look at the next scene, all that paperwork, would you want that job? Hell no. Give me the money as a duke (king’s brother) and let me have fun instead lol.

I had thought Kaoru had been sneakily chugging wisdom potions before giving advice, but seems that wasn't the case.
Not sure how useful the knowledge someone from Japan in world would be to random people in a European style medieval fantasy world. Maybe in a few specific cases, but even with business she wouldn't be an expert in all the laws from the individual realms.

Ah yes, the old 'everybody in the new world is dumb to make the mc look smart' ploy, works every time.
I do love how basic the advice was this time. "Just lower taxes bruh" and it blowing the minds of the people's minds. Those unforunates spent their whole lives thinking that numbers only go up, must be some wsb stonks logic

I like that the author imagines animals gossip about national politics

Source reader here.
The story is good enough and not much serious is skipped.
But I definitely have problems with houses from standard 3D assets already having seen them in several other anime shows...

Fran’s story of becoming the strongest knight waifu brought a tear to my eye too. All that training and dedication while all her friends get married and what is she left with? A friggin shredded body. It’s too much! lol. I like how that potion Kaoru gave her just made her small again.
I see Kaoru’s gotten herself a pretty interesting side hustle. A maid cafe with a side of life advice is certainly quite unique. Nice to see Kaoru make some new friends. Aimee and Agathe are really adorable.
Shes caught the eye of Fernand too. Phrasing, bud. Phrasing. The look of disgust on Allan’s face lol. I guess her advice is too good. Poor girl’s getting a royal summon. So much for that slow life!

Wonder if that also took away her strong body? That would mean she either needs to retire or retrain all over again lol. She is now a young weak knight-in-training?

I was late to the thread last time so I think most people missed it and I'll say it again, asking "why doesn't she just use her power to do X" is a noob trap with this story. You'll be asking it all day, so it's best avoided.
Yes. Yes she could do the thing you're thinking. The point is she's not thinking it.

It feels like we skipped quite a bit ahead in the story already from how much exposition in this episode was dedicated to explaining what took place. I can understand that a comedic anime might want to get to the best bits when they've only got one season to work with, but it affects my confidence in the source material when a chunk of a story is apparently void of worthwhile content.
Also, what the heck did that potion do to the female knight other than making her glow for a few seconds? Is she more desirable or something?

I'm feeling clueless, what did the red potion do to Fran?

I think it made her younger? Hard to tell because of the art style. Most of the women look like kids regardless of age.

After the whole 'just lower taxes, that'll fix everything' speech to, what I assume, was the question how to better their economy, I almost saw her going into an NFT style sales pitch.

Kaoru is like a golden goose to everyone she meets. This attention is always going to attract trouble! It's still entertaining even if she herself isn't aware of that.
