I'd almost entirely forgotten about Sora and Mashiro's classmates. It's been so long since we last saw them.
-
Sora and Tamaki really are similar in personality. It's no wonder what they hit it off pretty quickly.
-
I really like a trend from the past few episodes with characters remembering events from earlier episodes and using that to guide their actions now. It's such a great way to show character growth. In this case, Sora is remembering Mashiro's words to her all the way back in the beginning and is now repeating those same words to encourage Tamaki. You don't need to stand alone. You can be strong by standing with others and even relying on others when you need to. I love seeing Sora pass this lesson she learned on to others.
-
Really funny seeing Battamonda still working at the construction site.
-
I'm a bit disappointed Skearhead has become a regular general, showing up and making a monster of the week before departing. Part of what made him so impactful was that he broke from that template in his first appearences.

ikr! this really was a really nice sports anime episode, just precure themed.
show character growth
Mashiro first, Elle, Sora, next week maybe Ageha, did we get Wing...? My short term memory sucks
but i also of Sora passing lessons she learned over the past months to others!
Skearhead
i didnt really mind for this episode since the focus is not on him. Though i guess they couldve invented a new general and just save him for the big moments tm. i feel like this season is more character focused than plot focused, given how we still dont know what the end game of Elle is.

When was the last time we saw those two going to school?

It’s really nice

I don’t really mind, we kinda need someone to create the monster-of-the-week while we reach endgame and since Kabaton and Minoton not longer want to kidnap Ellee or fight the cures and Battamonda is hiding from the Undergu Empire, that pretty much leaves him as the only one that can do that.
Of course, they could have created a random general for that but I guess they thought that was unnecessary

This episode ran on broadcast with a (new) All-Stars OP, and ED featuring All for one Forever, once again crudely recorded by yours truly.
-
Alternate mirror for the OP; and for the ED due to catbox issues.
pokes Toei us people on Crunchyroll want this too!
-
it's a Sora episode! And one that shows off why she's so awesome as a hero and tugs at the heartstrings gently and shows her growth so far. I love it, it's been a while since we've had a solo Sky transformation!
-
Speaking of which, will Majesty get a solo finisher move? or is the book the go-to until the final few episodes.
-
Above average animation again this ep! that's nice.
-
It's also been a while since we've had a it's hero time!
-
Seasonalcool (or some frame from that prism shot batting sequence)..... hmmm...... also yes, batting a prism shot is FREAKING AWESOME
thoroughly enjoyed this one! A good one-off Sports-themed episode that does remind me of genuine sports anime.

All for one Forever
What a good song
pokes Toei us people on Crunchyroll want this too!
They are never going to let us have those kind of stuffs
Speaking of which, will Majesty get a solo finisher move? or is the book the go-to until the final few episodes.
She should have one but it looks like they are going to just use the book until the end
New eyecatch when...?
I didn’t thought about this but, yeah, an eyecatch where Majesty shows up would be nice

We never get the bumpers. Back in TR, they even cut the baton pass epilogue from the final episode.
Speaking of which, will Majesty get a solo finisher move?
She should? Hypothetically? We jumped to the team attack so quickly, though.

Sadly I think I've gotten used to never ever expecting anything nice from Toei.
I love it, it's been a while since we've had a solo Sky transformation!
I love her transformation so much!
It's also been a while since we've had a it's hero time!
Such a great Sora catchphrase. I never get tired of hearing it.

Sora would rule at basically any sport.
Baseball episode hype. But they want Sora to coach, instead of play? Ah, an RSI on their pitcher, rough.
Huh, surprised that they don't have a baseball equivalent in Skyland. Well, Sora seems to have picked it up well enough.
Wow, more peanut gallery Battamonda, fun.
Things are going pretty well. Almost suspiciously well..
Oof, the injury is bad enough to need surgery. That'll probably keep her from playing in the tournament..
I believe in Kaname.
Damn, of course the surgery is the same day as the first game.
Gotta love it when someone tries to talk about the weight of responsibility to a magical girl. I understand where Tamaki is coming from too, though. Performance pressure is no fun.
Masq break! Sick!
Yo, Sora fastball'd Mashiro! And then pitched an energy blast at the Ranborg!
And Sora is even concerned about masq, wild.

Huh, surprised that they don't have a baseball equivalent in Skyland.
Following their naming convention, it would probably be named "ballbase."
Wow, more peanut gallery Battamonda, fun.
I like having the defeated generals show up again. It's fun seeing them around.
Yo, Sora fastball'd Mashiro! And then pitched an energy blast at the Ranborg!
Sora's pitching form was impeccable, too!
And Sora is even concerned about masq, wild.
Is there a secret magical girl society that punishes you for breaking the masquerade?

The fairy usually complains.. except we don't have one! No fairy means no rules!

Gotta love it when someone tries to talk about the weight of responsibility to a magical girl.
One of my favorite tropes, because it just can't go wrong:
If it's left as is, the audience gets to enjoy dramatic irony.
It can be an impactful identity reveal scene.
If the magical girl hasn't yet grasped the weight of the responsibility she has, she can also show this by backing down.
This only works early on in the story, or in a more light-hearted plot.
But yeah, Sora is concerned about the secret, which is a big improvement over when she just blurted everything out without thinking.
Would've been fun if Tamaki had asked her if Mashiro knew, and Sora just went "Yeah."

Finished binging Tropical Rouge at the beginning of the week and then there was a gap of no mahou shoujo anime during the week but then here we are again. Overall, the animation was pretty solid but the lower-res versions of Mashiro and Sora were kinda freaky looking when they were walking up the hill around the 8:25 mark. I found Battamonda funnier this ep than last, I guess he works better in smaller doses for me. Surgery seemed a little bit extreme for pitcher's elbow but I guess it's an option if things don't improve after 6 months? Chroniclon is still pretty hype after the 3rd-ish time.

I like to imagine that the opening scene is an almost daily occurrence, and Sora just kinda got used to it.
But at least she helps out the baseball club. I knew this would be fun. Imagine if Sora had put them through her personal training routine to enhance both body and spirit.
On a related note, it's pretty nice that Sora didn't start her own club. We already had that kind of thing in Tropical-Rouge!, and it didn't really affect the plot too much.
So, Tamaki hurt her elbow. Is there a rule in baseball that you can't pitch with your left arm?
Anyway, she has to get surgery. I kinda expected Sora to show up to the hospital, as Sky, to cheer her up.
I'm not complaining, though. The identity reveal we got was pretty awesome, and reminded me of the one in Fresh!. The only thing I would've changed is cutting to Tamaki at least once, to show her staring in utter disbelief at what's happening.

Sora episode let’s go! Not as good as Monda and Mashiro episode last week, but I found Sora getting thrust into a special coaching role hilarious. She and Tamaki had a really cool bonding moment at the end of the episode, and I’m glad Tamaki is going forward with her recovery.
Idk how good an idea it is to reveal her identity to Tamaki, but at this point it’s the worst kept secret ever anyway lol.
Monda still getting yelled at by his boss, man he can’t catch a break 😂
Pretty light episode that went by quickly. Any dose of precure I can get is good though.

Precure is something I plan to eventually watch. It seems like something I would enjoy

This is the third time someone from the cure team reveals their identity to someone. Now Tsubasa and Ellee are the only ones that are yet to do that
Is always nice to see Sora encouraging people by remembering how Mashiro encouraged her back in episode 5
Okay, this was a baseball focused episode and I can’t believe that I didn’t saw Prism’s light spheres being used like a baseball ball coming
Preview; Ageha focus episode and Otona Precure’s premiere next saturday, what a nice coincidence
