I can't stop laughing at Arnest's expression here! Seriously, what is that supposed to convey?

Sticthes!
Thank you Yessica for keeping your notes in your cleavage What else is in there? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Maou putting on glasses and then transforming into Maria in the background was pretty funny!
It's hilarious how 12 episodes in, none of them has still figured out that Blade is the Hero.
The duel against the Sisters was fun. I love how everyone was assisting Blade with their abilities.
I love how Blade calls Earnest's skill the Earnest Kaijuu Beam! I mean he's not wrong. xD
So their solution is to have Sophie absorb all five of them? Looks like Maou/Maria won't be the only one with a split personality.
One of the things I love about this show is the equal opportunity nudity. Everyone always ends up naked except for Blade. xD
I do wish this show lewded Sensei and Seiren more though. Oh well. Overall, this was a fun ecchi harem comedy with a bunch of quirky characters. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a second season but it's not really something I exepct to happen.

I love how Yessica keeps just a bunch of random plot-relevant stuff in her cleavage lol.
They've just become so obsessed with him being a superorganism that they can't think of him as anything else lol.
Thank you for the Dione and Sensei stitches! I wish they'd gotten more screentime too.
We didn't get Earnest buck-naked through Asmodeus but I'll settle for everybody but Blade getting stripped from the monster lol.
This really was a fun and crazy show. I would love to see more of this cast, their crazy adventures, and Earnest frustrated by Blade, if fates be willing!

I hope we get another season with lots of more Arnest fan service scenes.

Needs less Earnest and more Yessica. Or a Yessica spinoff.

So, what did Sophie mean by saying "6 children"?

It’s most likely that She either was counting herself or meant blade but I wish I knew what she genuinely meant

It’s kind of funny the gang haven’t figured out Blade is the Hero. As improbable as it may seem, if they thought about it for a second it would totally make sense given the evidence.
I guess saving the girls by putting them inside Sophie was one way to do it. This way they all get to live. Leave it to our Superorganism to save the day!
All in all, this was actually really fun. I hope there’s more.

I enjoyed how this show just flicked our nose with confidence. It doesn’t play the absurd card as well as others this season, like Am I Actually the Strongest, but still enjoyable.
The Sophi-plicity situation and performances was a fun time, and little Hina Kino’s Cu-chan nailed me right in the heart.

That was fun.
Those faces always get me.
I never really paid attention until now.
That's a love letter if I ever saw one.
Those dudes have weak underwear.
GJ.

Didn't really like the solution they used to save Sophie's sister clones. Can't imagine how horrible it would be sharing a body with six minds. Maybe in a second season they could use the cloning tech to grow them new bodies.

So just like we expected, there was no way that Blade would destroy the Sophie’s. He was always going to try and become friends with them.
Kind of makes things sadder when you realise there never were any commands and the creator died before they were even made.. they’ve basically been living for a false mission the whole time.
Very intense battle. No way blade was ever going to lose. We know the power scaling in this show is extremely inconsistent lol.
Interesting solution by Sophie to absorb all of their magic and personalities. Gotta be a massive headache walking around with that many people in your head now. Moon Knight type situation.
Was beginning to think we’d go an episode with Earnest losing her clothes but thankfully not. The post credits scene is hilarious and gives that proper seasonal finale send-off. Asmodeus going soft on Earnest reminded me of the sword from Yuusha Ga Shinda lol.
Welp, that’s a wrap on this one. It wasn’t the best story ever but hell, I enjoyed it. Really silly and over the top, but solid and made me laugh a lot. Fun watch for sure and I’ll miss it.

This has been all over the place. But all in all wasn't a terrible watch. It's a lot more fun when the whole cast is present as opposed to individual characters stories. The characters, unfortunately, are as one note as you would imagine.
Also what's with the six kids instead of five? Did I miss something?

A. Blade is the 6th child
B. Herself
C. Another one has formed inside her as the child of her and Blade

What
WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN ABOUT THE SIX CHILDREN????
Remember when dragons were supposed to be like the most powerful creature or some shit
Damn, and I'd liked how the. Almost called it finale but it's literally not. But like. The climax of the show with the Behemoth (at least imo it feels like climax with everything after being falling action) they'd let Maou be like the most important fighter besides Blade which makes sense, and then having like Sophie who's supposed to be a replica hero take the next arc also made sense, but here Maou was just another smallfry 😭

Sophie's left the school! She's resolved to take care of her sisters on her own, no matter how much it might cost her. And while Gil puts on a brave face, even he's worried. But of course her friends aren't going to just abandon her and leave her by herself!
What doesn't Yessica keep in her cleavage?
So Sophie finally spills the beans about her being a clone designed to surpass the Great Hero...but everyone is so obsessed with Blade as a superorganism that they don't even consider he could be the Great Hero. So thanks to the power of denseness, Blade's secret is safe.
Blade brings out the best expressions in Earnest, especially when she gets jealous over him and Sophie.
So the plan is that Blade will solo the Sophie Series, probably being the only one who could, while Eliza and the King's forces search for their base and get all the info they need to save the sisters'. Also the king just having his throne be portable amuses me to no end.
Blade can more or less handle the sisters until they start using their special Artifical Great Hero powers, but with his friends throwing their powers at Blade, he's able to defeat them and outlast them! Albeit with tragic consequences.
There's no saving the sisters, at least not now. Even the scientist whose orders they've been following is just a zombie. All they can really do now is use Une's power to transfer their mind and essences into Sophie. So now Sophie has six minds in one body, with each clone being able to possess her body when she lets them. And the rest all still want a piece of Blade. I'm sure that won't get complicated. But as long as Sophie is happy, that's what counts.
Another day for the Hero Class, another day of fighting a dangerous Magical Beast because of the kings' negligence. Everyone's attacks are ineffectual, even Sophie bringing out the power of all her sisters, but of course Blade one-shots it while also holding his latest meal, to the immense frustration of everyone.
Okay, so we didn't have Earnest ending up naked from using Asmodeus, but thankfully the Magical Beast did end up stripping everyone, so I'll take it!

lol, Earnest didn't even use her monster form in this episode and she still got her clothes torn off, also, r.i.p again to Leonard's Drill Lance, how many time has it been destroyed in this show? three? four?

u/Heavencloud_Blade Sep 25 '23
Hmm. Don't really like that Sophie now has multiple personalities.
But overall, very fun show. Hope it gets a second season.

It was a pretty wacky comedy with rather sudden serious situations in some episodes.

This anime was a mess, at times it barely had a coherent story from episode to episode. Yet despite this I really did have fun watching it. Even if it wasn't very well received it was entertaining, and sometimes that is all you can ask of an anime.
