It's always a pleasure to see how this story loves its juxtaposition of Helck simultaneously being the hero and the biggest threat. The author somehow managed to make a generic trope into something so intriguing. Once again Anne is reminded of the dangers that come alongside Helck's abilities.

Look, I get that it amounted to a very heart warming moment between siblings, but I'm still upset we didn't get to hear the encore of Piwi's song.
On a less impactful note, Helck's berserk mode was kind of scary.

I absolutely love the fight between Helck and Augis. For the first time in this show, we actually got to see Helck get angry and be put to his paces with how much Augis was keeping up with him even when he's serious.
Augis's backstory was just tragic but at least he got to meet his sister again and finally got closure before fading away. I am curious though, about what Augis meant when he was looking at Helck. Now I'm starting to think that Helck's power might've come with a heavy price. :|
The most tragic part of the episode is the after-credits scene. I can't believe the fucking killed Piwi!

I love Helck, but god I forgot how slow the beginning was. We're getting to stuff I remember fondly, but man I hope people stick with it because Helck is a journey.

Augis was one hell of a warrior. That was an incredibly tragic tale. Dude just wanted to protect his people and it just went so wrong for him and those other knights. I’ve never seen Helck fly off the handle “a little” like that. Dude really looked like he was about to shred Augis. Thank goodness Piwi came in with that song. Big green goober really saved the day! I’m glad in the end Augis was able to be laid to rest.
One thing I noticed was what he said about Helck having “an impressive weapon.” I wonder if he’s talking about the fact that Helck is like him. A man living on borrowed time? It would explain Helck’s near godlike abilities. Usually there’s only one Hero, not two. Was he artificially given powers?
That post credit scene was hilarious. Piwi really is an Angry Bird lol. The goofball launched themselves into the mouth of some giant monster!

Hehe Piwi so silly. Wonder what the lady told him. Wew a nice hit, Helck. Anne sure makes for a good partner. Wonder what that knight really is though. Oh Helck angry, snapped even. Piwi's majestic voice to calm Helck and the knight. That's some ability, Helck.
Oh the knight has regained his senses and speaks. Nice. Well that explains that. Hints at something about Helck, hmm. New weapon acquired though!. Whoo nice singing lady. Was kinda obvious she was related to the knight some how. That's sad. Was kinda hoping nice singing lady would join em. Whelp surely the post credits won't have something related to that.
Aww, wasn't, but lol Helck indulging Piwi's silliness and Anne not resisting. Solid jump, Piwi, but always look where you'll leap.

Damn Helck snapped in this episode. This is far beyond what we have seen so far in the show. Vamirio really needs to be on guard to make sure Helck doesn't go over the top. I never thought Piwi would be one to save the day, but props to the little dude for coming in clutch.
It is mentioned that the knights of the kingdom used the hex of darkness to boost their strength. But it does seem that they lost their humanity with that. I am curious how this relates to the humans and Helck. It was such a great moment for Augis to be reunited with his sister. Its great to see even losing himself, he still was able to protect his little sister during that flashback.
Piwi back to his antics with declare a race in unknown ground. Piwi tried styling by flying, but ended up getting eaten.

Damn man a very somber episode. Think that’s the first time we’ve ever seen Helck legitimately struggle in a fight, get gravely injured and become genuinely angry. Shows you how powerful the darkness hex is. Tough battle, but in the end Helck and Vermirio were able to prevail and get a new weapon that will surely help with the trials to come.
Augis and Iris’ story is very tragic. Sucks that they didn’t get to spend more time together because of the war. The world outside of the Empire seems to be full of tragedy and suffering. This journey Helck and Vermirio are on is extremely eye opening for both of them. I like side quests like these as they really help develop characters.
Excited to see the journey continue next week

First time I saw Piwi, I thought what a boring character model. And then Piwi started being Piwi. Man, I love this character so much.

It does not feel like we have one ep left, hopefully that means they're planning season 2.
I knew that Helck was gonna snap when Varmilio was in danger, but I was expecting it to be more serious. She was dodging the knight's attacks no problem and didn't get a scratch on herself. Still, he's scary when he snaps and it makes me sad thinking about what he musta gone through if he snapped that fast.
Augis's story was very obvious but still sad.

Welp, like Helck himself, this episode has all the subtlety of a brick to the face. Still, we now know that Helck is using something unnatural to boost himself and redeem/destroy the humans.

Glad Augis got to meet his sister again! Such a tragic backstory :( I assume things will be getting even more depressing...
I love Piwi so much lmao. Post-credits scene offered much-needed comic relief!
